Came in today around 10 AM greeted by Veronica who was extremely irritated to be working on a Saturday. She confirmed that it was going to be an extremely long wait because of the skeleton staff! I mean, who says that?'!?!? In the meantime, I sat for five minutes and was called to get help with a transfer title by Jessica, who was super nice and very helpful. Veronica also was not very nice to Jessica when she came in. Most helpful group of DMV specialists! I dread having to go to the Capitola DMV. The DMV is constantly rushing, making mistakes, spelling my name wrong, writing my address wrong, BUT pay for AAA and most of those headaches go away. I am also a fan of their FunKo decorations. She is not only rude and makes up " new " rules every time you are lucky enough to draw her, She will also try to rip you off if you are paying cash for a transaction. This has happened twice. I can tell you how her scam works if you are interested. She will also violate your dissabillity rights at every turn. " Ohh I can't help you do that it's a AAA rule " funny every other DMV person in there helps me. I've spoken to DRC ( disability rights California ) About this. It benefited us in the past to bundle home and auto, but after being dropped for our home policy we went back to AAA for auto. I'm so glad we did! AAA service is not at all what they advertise. You expect to be able to get your car towed if you have car trouble, but if you're in an accident, don't expect any help at all. They refuse to tow from an impound lot (like if your car is towed from the scene of an accident) and they refuse to tow to any body shops. After spending days in the hospital and finally trying to deal with my car, I really expected AAA to come through for us, and they were worse than unhelpful. What have I been paying them for? Worthless service, don't waste your money. read more

So, I am a AAA member, and have insurance for my car. Had an accident and the guy who hit me also had AAA. At the time of the accident, it was called in as a hit and run. BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT WAS! So aaa paid to fix my car, and then 9 months later said they ruled it 100% my fault! And the lady that actually lives on my street wouldn't give me her name, and because we both stopped and exchanged info, the police didn't make a report. So now AAA has raised my insurance bill 400$. Now that's not on my side, and they are forcing me to get a supeana for the recorded 911 call. Shame on AAA,and what a headache read more

Been utilizing AAA Capitola for years, and its time to share the positive goodness (its a semi-secret). Having a AAA membership combined with AAA insurance allows one to utilize their "in house" California DMV services...and thus the ability to physically skip going to the actual DMV! This alone is worth its weight in gold. Additionally, when you add the great customer service of the team in AAA Capitola (Courtney for example) it is an easy choice to utilize their services, plus I highly recommend it to every one else! Could not be more convenient or nicer. They have a staff member who collects Funkos and beautifully decorated the office. There is a winter land theme of Nightmare Before Christmas, Disney Haunted Mansion, a variety of DC and Marvel characters all over the office. The staff who greets you at the door check in and makes sure you have all of the documents before entering. Two registration and stickers were super easy. I had sent in my payment in October but still no sticker or registration. With my registration going to expire and the DMVs limited this location saved me! Within ten minutes I was done and the process could not have been easier. Parking lot is huge and the office is clean and constantly disinfected. Thank you for everything. read more

I love the ease of being able to skip the DMV lines a block away and take care of vehicle registration, title transfers, etc. using my AAA roadside assistance card. Our home and family vehicles are insured by State Farm so they always ask if I would like a quote to transfer to AAA when I come in for anything. I actually decided to let an agent at the AAA office talk to me about possibly switching after I finished renewing registration. The agent Augie Webber gave me his card and after finishing up my transaction I let Mr. Webber see what sort of coverage savings they could offer. Turns out that since we bundle our home insurance with our cars, and we live in the San Lorenzo Valley burn scar, AAA wouldn't insure our home anyway. So we were getting the best possible deal which Mr. Webber told me I should stick with. He didn't try to divide the cars and have us use AAA for auto , or push any agenda to get business. He saw that we were getting a good deal and looked out for our best interests. I am very glad to know there are still people out there who do care about the customers above the $$. read more

Please let me start off with while in Santa Cruz County I got a flat tire at Midnight. Not only did they cancel my call without informing me, they DO NOT PROVIDE SERVICE FROM MIDNIGHT TO 5 AM. Why bother with a Insurance company who can not do it's job? A woman walked up to me and also informed me she had her truck tire go flat and she waited in the cold dark street until after 5 am. Ladies keep fix a flat in your vehicle for your own safety. Do not depend on this sad excuse of an insurance company. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to see a new welcoming agent who upon greeting asked what services I needed. Once I was checked in I was instructed to the very nice waiting area where they had nice tables and chairs to wait for the next agent. There was quite a long line that day but my whole wait time was less than 10 minutes and it was so nice to sit and wait instead of standing in line. Very pleasant, friendly staff. read more
