I'd leave zero stars if I could. Mind you, that's half for CSAA as a whole -- I have a claim open from last year, the adjuster now refusing my phone calls and emails, and a phone system that makes it literally impossible to do anything but leave a message for the weaselly adjuster who's generally "out of the office". The other half was my experience here @ Tassajara. I went in in person, peeved, and the guy I talked to flat didn't care. He was brusque, had zero interest in customer service, no interest in why I was peeved, didn't particularly seem surprised in the least. Maybe he gets this every day and is just inured. He "escalated" my concern, but that hasn't gone anywhere either. All I know is that for decades I've given CSAA thousands of my dollars a year ... for nothing. I'm taking my business elsewhere, not necessarily expecting better in today's market, but because CSAA doesn't deserve a single more of my hard-earned pennies. And if they treat you like they're treating me, run, don't walk, anywhere else. read more

I left this AAA singing "Today was a good day" (shout out Ice Cube for that timeless beat) and I owe it all to Anthony and Allen! I got a little excited to get a personalized license plates and found myself needing to do a plate swap. I won't bore you with the details of the predicament but will focus on how awesome these two guys are. I was met at check-in by Anthony who listened to my story, didn't outwardly judge my ridiculousness and highlighted all the required fields I needed to compete on three forms. How does anyone actually figure this all out on their own? I completed everything and headed over to Allen who processed everything, took my fee and gave me new plates and two new registrations. He even gave me a brochure for a great AAA credit card that I will opening shortly. I'm an all in kind of girl. Sometimes I question why I pay for a membership and then I have an interaction like this...these two guys were friendly, professional and know their biz. Came today for my passport photo. Only had to wait about five minutes and was greeted by the nicest gal Malalai. Unfortunately the USPS passport center said the picture was not valid and I had to pay an additional 15$ fee to take another at the post office. I was shocked that they are taking photos incorrectly because I just lost out on 10$ at csaa getting it done If you plan to come and take your passport photo, hard pass and go right to the facility where you're processing your application. Malalai was fabulous but clearly isn't taking the right kind of photo. Waste of time and money. read more

Today, I finally was able to register my vehicle that I moved to Texas and now brought it back to California. After experiencing what I went through at a different AAA office in San Ramon, wrong information provided that - I have 30 days to register and now come to find out 20 days... so I was charged $86 for penalty. When I originally went to AAA to register - I was within the 20 days. I was provided with a checklist for documents I need including smog cert... but, when I showed up - I was required another document from Texas DMV which was not originally listed provided by AAA staff at San Ramon. Causing the delay... hence the penalty. With the AAA Dublin... it was done right away. I suppose it depends obviously which office you utilize the DMV service. read more

Liberty mutual and others, they tell you NOT CALIF! but those take your high ins dept hard cash pmts for a premium! I had triple A in all southwest states even SoCal. I have had my agent for over a decade now. He has it goin on there. He speaks multi lingual too. This branch was prior to San Ramon and outlivrd Livermore branch [& call center- now in Utah]. Finally did something for EV members. Never used travel but used clean restroom in back. Closed Sundays but open sats. Survived covid 19. Worth the discos and ARS. Premium. read more

Each time she did call back, it was because I reached out to the front desk at this location and they had to send her an internal chat message. My uncle and I came here to complete a car title transfer and the process was seamless and easy. Farah helped us fill out our paperwork and was very kind and patient with us which I really appreciated. We had our car title paper mostly filled out and so our duration was about ~15minutes. I had not been inside this office in a couple of years and was pleasantly surprised at the customer service emphasis. I hadn't planned to stop in but after I got my car smogged in Pleasanton the technician said, "Hey, did you know you can take this to a AAA office right now, if you're a member, and get your stickers?" I did not know that. So I drove to the Dublin office Friday morning on my way home. Easy parking at 9:30ish am in the Waterford shopping center. The sun was shining on the front door so I couldn't see inside and after opening the door I almost jumped because the *concierge* was so fast to greet me. Friendly and efficient he was. Within seconds I was on the waitlist for DMV registration, shown where to sit and within 5 mins I was at the window. Five more minutes and I was out the door. Everyone was polite, professional and efficient. I'll never mail in my registration again. This is a great AAA service. read more

By now, a lot of us know the advantages, or should I say AAAdvantages, of having a triple-A membership. At the premier level, I've used a lot of the benefits over the last several years. One of the best things about the service is using it to avoid the lines at the DMV. This location in Dublin was like a dream; I went in to clear up some paperwork and there was no line. I think it took all of 3 minutes to get in and out which made my pandemic-scared-behind very happy. The brief interaction was pleasant and I could have sworn I recognized the agent from the Hayward location. Nevertheless, it's easy to recommend this location and AAA overall. I have used other services too like the online discounts and especially the towing and battery service since I have several cars and take a lot of long road trips--having AAA gives me that piece of mind. My vehicle registration was due to expire at the end of January. It needed a positive Smog Inspection which I did obtain. Instead of taking this to the local DMV office or putting it in the mail, I chose to go to the local AAA office to avoid any chance of delay in transit to DMV. So, I took all my paperwork and walked into the AAA Dublin Office. I warmly greeted by a receptionist at the front door. He asked me what service I was seeking and I told him it was a vehicle registration renewal issue. He took my name and invited me to sit in the waiting area. He indicated that it would be a short wait of about 5 minutes. It was less than 5 minutes. They had 4 people doing DMV services at this time. The lady that took care of me was very efficient, knowledgeable and very pleasant. I used my Visa Credit Card to pay for the renewal fee plus a $2.50 transaction fee. The whole procedure took all of about 5 minutes! The minor fee was a pleasure to pay since it saved me a trip and a long wait in line at the local DMV office located in Pleasanton, CA. I was very pleased and happy at how easy and quickly this whole thing was completed. I will be using this AAA office again the next time I have any DMV business to conduct that they can handle. I read some not-so-great reviews for this place before writing my own, and I'm surprised! We stopped by earlier today to pick up a temporary disabled DMV placard. We were immediately greeted-- seeing that I was on crutches & my husband was carrying our sleeping 1 year old, the receptionist offered us a seat and took my completed DMV paperwork + drivers license to the service desk for processing. I should also mentioned that I forgot my AAA membership card in my other wallet at home, but the receptionist reassured me that it was okay. She chatted with us for maybe 10-15 minutes, and just like that, we walked out of there with my temporary placard! Great customer service! I will come here over the DMV any day. read more

I had to claim for my truck that was stolen. In Livermore California. The process took 2 1/2 months and my policy only covered 30 days of rental even though it was on their end to either get my truck fixed or total it out. My adjuster Was out on a medical condition. I had no one to contact it's been a mess. I wouldn't recommend AAA insurance again. read more

NOTHING BUT LIES 2/12/23 - SUV was stolen. Was told 2-3 weeks before considered Totaled. 3 weeks goes by, I cannot get a hold of Christina Brooks who is Totally Loss Agent. However, I was able to get a hold of her 3 coworkers AND Supervisor. Another 3 weeks goes by and FINALLY she answered. She tells me I GAVE HER MY WRONG NUMBER. THATS A LIE. She sat on my file with no movement this entire time. Keep in mind, I still have to pay the policy according to Jessica "because of state of California". My auto was already considered Totaled. So what did I have to pay coverage for? Makes no sense. ANOTHER LIE. So finally Cristina Brooks FINALLY sends me Totaled paperwork and as I start to ask her questions. I ask her about sitting on my file for 3 weeks because I cannot get another loan until this one is paid off. She has no solid answer other than WE ARE SHORT STAFFED, I GAVE HER A WRONG NUMBER, WAITING ON LOAN COMPANY. Any excuse she can dig up for her lack of customer care. I called the loan company, the paperwork was not requested until 3/25 but I was told the date 3/6. ANOTHER LIE. I am due a refund check after I canceled my policy due to how I was treated during this horrific experience with AAA. I was told by the Refund Team that it was going to take 3 to 5 business days to get my refund put back on my debit card which I paid unnecessarily for 2 months. I waited 5 days and I called AAA come to find out the person LIED to me and processed a check which is going to take 7 to 10 business days. ANOTHER LIE. I am not working, I have no money, I have to go to the Food Bank to eat. Do you think AAA Insurance cares about my money, the inconveniences they put me thru FOR MOBTHS?!?!? No, everyone I talked to could care less. AAA Insurance does not care about their customers. It's obvious and I warm any and everyone to consider my experience before investing in this terrible insurance company. AAA Insurance Company DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS - THEY ARE SHADY, LAZY AND DISHONEST. read more

This place has morphed into a satellite DMV location. And guess what? It's the same process! Why is it that no matter where you go in this world, the DMV is just utterly disorganized. Yes, it is still better than going to the actual DMV (which is why I did not go with 1 star). But, AAA still has to access DMV computers. So me and the buyer finally get to the front of the line. And by the way, this place took insanely extra precautions against COVID. I would even go so far as calling it overkill, but the safer the better I guess. The clerk accesses our DMV records. Tell us that we have to pay a fine because we are past the deadline for reporting the sale. I told her it wasn't our fault because due to COVID there were delays in getting us the title. But she insisted there was nothing she could do, blah blah. Same old DMV. Just do what makes sense. Again, it sucks that AAA has morphed into the DMV. But hey more convenience I get it. For what it's worth, the workers here were as nice as possible, given the circumstances. Waaaaay nicer than the actual DMV. read more

Couldn't get my documents notarized here, despite being told they did notarize over the phone. The greeter lady, she looked like she was Asian Pacific Islander, was not pleasant to talk to. I'm all for hiring immigrants, but her accent was so heavy it wasn't easy communicating with her. She wanted to know what documents I needed notarized. I told her and she said they don't do birth certificates because they "get too many of them". They did not look busy and it wasn't close to closing time. Also, it's not cheap - the fee is only $5 less than the UPS store. She wasn't apologetic at all. I felt bad that I wasted my time and gas driving there. It made me wonder why we even have a membership. In this day and age, everyone has a cell phone in case your car breaks down & maps on the phone. We're canceling our membership. read more

One star for answering the phone. This is my first review ever. I am only writing it because I was really shocked with my phone call today with AAA. I explained that my mom had passed away and I needed to transfer title of her car, and that she was a AAA member but I was not. Wanted to know if I could do that in their office. She told me my mom would have to come in person. ??? I said, that's impossible. She said, oh sorry, I have to go I have another call. ??? Honestly love AAA- roadside assistance though is a whole other story. Sorry Dublin branch, idk how to review AAA corporate. Their roadside assistance is annoyingly automated. Then I wait 3 hours and they tell me they can't tow it without proof of registration. I currently don't have it because I just bought it. But policy aside, a process improvement they can make is asking you that when you make the request instead of surprising me after I wait broken down for 3 hours. Driver had to leave and AAA wouldn't wave the policy, I've been a loyal customer for yeeeears. Super disappointed in the lack of flexibility for this stupid policy. read more

I applied for temporary handicap parking 3 weeks ago and I still have not received it. I have called several times and been given the run around. They don't know where it is! The paperwork I submitted said a caregiver can get it but they refused to give it to my husband. They wanted me there. I was bed ridden. Then they said it will be mailed to the house within a week. 3 weeks later nothing has arrived. I left message for the manager to call back and I have not received a call back. I really don't know why I even have AAA anymore. Went into this location to get my tags and the wait was over 1.5 hours. Adding to my frustration, as I'm walking in a male employee told the gal at front that he was going to put flyers on cars because the lot was full. Apparently this made more sense than helping the customers inside. I get home and use the AAA app to get a tow truck for our vehicle we just got the tags on and it's been over two hours and still no one has been dispatched. I've called twice and both times told the driver was 30 minutes away. Check out the pics which say "on rare occasions it can take 20 minutes" but note the times... lol. I know this office doesn't field the tow service but the wait at this location was also terrible and that along with the roadside assistance are the only reason I have AAA. read more
