I asked the guy for a sheet of stamps (forever stamps) and out of curiosity, I asked how much does 1 stamp cost now and days. He said $0.65. The sheet he gave me had 20 stamps. If he said $0.65 a stamp and there's 20 of them, that's $13 but he charged me $15. I paid it because I didn't have time to go the post office as this place was close. I essentially paid for convenience. As of Jan 2022, stamps are actually $0.58 so a sheet (20 stamps) is $11.60, which is what you would pay at the post office. I won't be buying stamps here again and advise others not to do so either, or question why 20 stamps are sold for $15. read more

I recently made a purchase in the store and left an envelope with a $32,000 check on the counter. I was running to catch a plane when I realized the check was missing. I had no idea where it was and was planning to call the bank to cancel the check when I landed. As soon as my phone came back on I received a message from the owner that the check was left in the store. He looked up my name and number in his records since I ship all my gifts from his store each year. I am so appreciative of his service and honesty. I cannot say enough good things about this place! Multiple times they have helped me in a bind. They have spent time to go over cheapest shipping options and TWICE they've discounted my shipping cost as im a regular customer. I was in just yesterday again, shipping a large order, and Victor waived all markup fees, basically shipped this for cost bc it was so expensive. I dont expect this everytime, but the kind heart and soul of this family owned business is so evident through each customer they help. Will never go anywhere else. I needed to get a document notarized, I called ahead and the lady over the phone was very nice. Once I got there Victor helped me very promptly. I'm a young guy and I don't mail things often, I had plenty of questions and not only did Victor have answers but he maintained such a kind demeanor. On his own volition, he weighed an envelope I was about to mail out as he was curious if my stampage was sufficient - it was not. If victor hadn't cared to do this, my time-sensitive mail would've been returned to my house.. this is an example of an excellent service. Wow, how does this business have so many good reviews? I'm giving two stars only because of the convenience of the mail bin by the door. I've used it many times but have had to get assistance for UPS packages twice and both times were negative experiences. The first time I came in I had a labeled UPS package I just wanted to drop off. The woman behind the counter seemed annoyed when she helped me. The next few times I took my UPS stuff to the place by Nob Hill because they are always helpful and friendly. Today I had a UPS package to drop off and decided to try this place again because it was closer. I walked in and the woman behind the counter (different than the other woman I previously irritated) just stared at her computer complaining about her password. I waited for over a minute and she didn't say anything to me or even acknowledge I was there. I had other things to do, so I just turned away and walked out with my package. I get it, you have bad days. I worked customer service for years. But you can't be annoyed with people for coming in. That's the only reason you're in business. read more

I used AIM to renew my passport. They make the process so easy. Victor took my passport photo and then took my completed forms, attached the photo and prepared for mailing. Very helpful. Dropped off a US Postal Office flat rate small box to ship. I was charged $16.25. The rate at the post office is about $9.00. I realize it is convenient to go the neighborhood mail center versus the post office but an 80% mark-up is a bit much. I have used this store for many years. I doubt we will be back given this level of mark-up when all you are doing is dropping off a package that is all ready to go for US Postal Office pick-up. read more

Victor is great! Our business has rented a private mailbox for the last 3+ years. We have always received outstanding personalized service. If we skipped a couple of days of checking our mailbox, Victor reached out to us with reminders if we had mail in our box. He was always friendly and knew who we were when we came into the store. The store has an organized system of dropping off outgoing mail and/or shipments and incoming shipments too large to fit into our box or creating an overflow. The store is clean and has a lot of supplies available for purchase. We never had to wait very long for counter service. Even if there was only 1 person working, they were great at multi-tasking whenever possible. Now that we have moved out of the area, Victor has been wonderful in accumulating and shipping our residual mail to us at our new address. read more

This place is a rip off!!!! A book of stamps is $10 yet they charge $14.50. That's basically a 50% mark up from EVERYONE ELSE! Wish I would have walked over to Lucky's instead of buying 5 books of stamps from here! I ended up paying an extra $25. That's absolutely ridiculous and the owner is extremely rude and disrespectful towards customers. When I questioned the price he yelled and belittled me for not reading the sign posted about the cost. I will no longer be giving them my business for anything and I advise you to as well unless you enjoy throwing money out the window. Go somewhere else that has decent prices and friendly customer service! read more
