While some people may think it is uncomfortable to have this done, the staff is absolutely professional and knowledgeable. The facility is well kept and spotless. It is a little on the expensive side for the body pod, coming in at $30 per session. But luckily, they are on Groupon and offer one session for $17 or three sessions for $46.50!

The lake is so pretty, the paths are well marked. This would be a go to spot during the fall color changes as the reflections off the lake would be pretty much what dreams are made of. Lots of space on walkway that goes all the way around the lake so you never feel crowded. Shows like 1.3miles but I'd guess closer to 2.0 miles but it's all pretty much flat and groomed. If you're ever in this area, plan a good walk with your significant other, put your phone in your pocket, hold their hands and just talk about how amazing your life is with them in it. We joined so that our…read more4-year-old triplets could do swim lessons there and to use the pool to help strengthen their abilities in the water. When signing them up for lessons, I was unable to get all three of them in to one class so I have 2 on Tuesdays and 1 on Thursday. A couple of weeks ago, a lady who identified herself as the head lifeguard told the lifeguard closest to us to tell us that my son (who was waiting his turn to practice floating) wasn't able to be in the water because I was not holding him. I explained that my dad and my husband were working with my other two and I was sitting on the bleachers (typically I do get in the pool but was not feeling great that day) but could stand on the stairs with him. She said, "I'm so sorry in advance but she is coming over to talk to you." She said that I needed to be with my son in the pool (my husband and my dad were standing at the bottom of the steps at this point) - to clarify, each "step" is about 9 ft by 2.5 ft with railings that separate the 3 different sections, so they were not blocking anyone's way in or out at all. I also explained that our entire purpose in being there was to work on their skills since they are new swimmers - but she said that any time they are in the pool they need to be HELD and are not allowed to be on the stairs at all. I asked her if we were able to have them sit on the side of the pool (like they do while they are waiting for their turn in swim lessons) and was told no. I then asked her what we are supposed when it just my husband and me and we have three kids? She said that we would just not be able to have all 3 of them in the pool with us at one time or they had to wear puddle jumpers the whole time. We do not use puddle jumpers or flotation devices with them because we do not want them to gain that false sense of security when in the water and IF it is the two of us, one of us will stay with the two who aren't practicing. I explained this and also tried to explain again that we are there solely to work on their awareness around water and to teach them to swim/float. At this point, we were feeling very targeted because there every time we have been there, there are always people who are playing/waiting on the steps. The next time we went back for our Thursday kid's lesson, my dad got in the pool with 2 out of 3 kids (my husband was changing in the locker room) and my lesson kiddo went in a few steps because he just wanted to show us how he could hold his breath under water. Within a few seconds, a male walked over to us and told us that he couldn't be on the steps. Again, feeling pretty targeted since we had only been there for a few seconds. He said that my kids weren't allowed to be on the stairs because they could walk off the bottom step and cause an event where they needed to be rescued. I explained to him that my kid has a lesson and he just walked in for a second to get wet and we were going to be on our way to the lesson as soon as my husband was out of the locker room. Since he was still standing there mansplaining to me about water safety, I asked him point blank, "So, my husband and I are two people who happen to have three kids... you are telling me that we are not allowed to be at this pool unless we are holding them the entire time?" and he said that is correct and then proceeded to tell me that he is a twin so his mom had to go through this and how because of this he understands my frustration? My husband was there now so I told him ok, I get it, we joined so that we could practice water skills but since you're telling me that with our family situation, that is not possible. In any case, I need to get my son to his lesson now and walked him down. Apparently after that, he decided to continue with my husband. Two minutes later, I see my dad, my husband, and my two other children walking toward us. He told my husband that they HAVE TO put my kids in puddle jumpers and made them all get out of the pool to walk to get them. I intervened at that point and told him that we are NOT going to be using flotation devices and that is NOT what he told me -- my husband and my dad each have a kid and therefore they are not breaking any rules. He said, "well, we strongly advise they have these on". I told him no, absolutely not ONLY purpose here is to teach them to swim -- we have a pool at home that they play in -- this one is for learning. I told my husband and my dad to go ahead and take the other two back so they could work on their skills and that if he had anything else to say to me, he could wait until after my son's lesson. I realize this is a very long review but we joined the Y with the understand that it was a great place for families and that has not been our experience at all. It also isn't enforced across the board which is another big reason for the negative review.

Communication was great start to finish; I stopped in to check it out, scheduled online, got a call a week before to finalize, and had great help that day. The place looks small from the outside, and is not huge, but the small party room (there are two and can be combined) was plenty big enough. You can decorate but not with tape or nails, etc. There's a fridge in one of the small rooms, and a rack for food/supplies/presents, plus several tables. The birthday girl gets a lighted button, glow cup, pen, and a ticket for a free game next visit. There are 18 holes, and they were fun, for kids and adults. Everything is lit with blacklights, and there are "chargers" to amp up the ball glow. Disney music was playing, fun for the kids, and tolerable for the rest of us. I saw couples and groups of young adults playing too. They're moving into a bigger place over by the Little Caesar's at Agler and Stygler. Moving during May 2023 so closed, then opening in June. We'll definitely be there.

We reserved one of the full hookup sites online and stayed at the end of September 2025. The online…read morereservation site has all the details on lot size, electricity info, distance to showers, etc. However, it's limited in showing different dates, which is frustrating. Anyway, the check-in time is 3pm and check-out is 1pm. We paid fifty-three dollars per night for two adults and one dog, with a six fifty reservation charge. Check-in was easy, and the attendant was helpful; you just drive up to the office, check-in and go on your way. The layout is similar to a subdivision with cul-de-sacs and each spot having its own little yard, making it feel somewhat like camping in the woods. Our neighbors were quiet and most vehicles drove slowly. Everyone we met was pleasant and friendly. The camp itself was clean and easy to hook up. Bathrooms and showers were clean and there was plenty of toilet paper. Large trash bins were available along with gray water stations. The only thing I'd suggest is for the site identifiers to be repainted, as several had faded over time. We visited the beach, but didn't go swimming, given the temperature. The pond is catch and release and seemed maintained and not stagnant. The budget limitations need to be considered before passing judgment. We used bug spray every day and that seemed to help keep the bugs away. The site we booked had a level surface and plenty of room to back in. The water and electrical were easily accessible and worked fine. A lot of campers used an inline water filter. The water quality report is on the park website for anyone interested. The grass was well trodden, making a camp rug a must-have. There was also a fire pit with a grill attached, but we didn't use it to cook. Also, at the time, there wasn't a burn ban. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and we'll definitely return. It was fun to walk down the aisles and see all the setups and decorations and note future camp site options. How many campers are long-timers, it's hard to tell. But we were pleased and our dog loved exploring on our walks.

I had trouble with the left side of my body, especially my left hand movement and when walking my left leg. My biggest frustration was that it seemed that my whole left side was weak and getting weaker. I had difficulty opening jars, working zippers, and lifting up my left arm. My balance was not good. I felt weak and dependent upon others. I was not self-sufficient. My endurance and strength have improved and I feel confident about my abilities to use my left and right sides. My balance has improved and I don't need help opening jars, working zippers, or doing anything. I actually enjoy working out now and feel confident about my abilities. I know I am stronger. Steve Blackmon is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. He makes working out a very positive experience. My daughter went to AAA Fitness for a year during her senior year of high school and worked with Steve 2 times a week. He is an amazing trainer and person. Steve always did what was best for my daughter's training and went about and beyond to not only train her body, but also helped guide her with her eating habits. Steve creates workouts that were tailored made for the particular season she was competing in. He was extremely flexible with adjusting her training dates according to her school and competition schedule. Steve's training was a big part of her success. I've been training with Steve since November 2018 and I've never felt more confident and strong in this short amount of time. When I met Steve, I had never been a runner and told him I couldn't run to save my life. Through his training and encouragement I can now run at least 40 minutes straight and have completed a 5K (running the whole time). He recommended some changes in my technique for the big lifts (squat, deadlock, and bench press) - this helped increase my power and eliminated some nagging joint pain that would occur after performing these lifts in the past. I have made tremendous progress with Rob and I view this as just the beginning. I am confident and excited to see what we can achieve - without a doubt, it will be far more than anything I could accomplish on my own. I have been an SOSer for 5 years now. Which makes it shocking that I'm just now getting around to…read morewriting review, especially since I'm such a mega-fan! I first heard about SOS from a few folks when I worked at L Brands. They had a few loyal customers with whom I worked. To be honest, I was a little intimidated when I'd see these folks post about their workouts on social media. I had thought about trying it circa 2017, but was too intimidated (my loss!). But in 2019, I ended up with a stress fracture while marathon training. I was able to barely finish my training for the NYC Marathon, which I did successfully complete in November 2019. But at that point, it was evident that I couldn't just keep running marathons without incorporating strength training into my routine. So in Christmas Week 2019, I started with the 7 class starter pack just to try it out. My first class was The Course with Kelsey. I felt comfortable because I knew Kelsey from work and luckily a few other co-workers happened to be in the class as well. I still remember during the warm up, I was thinking "dang this is tough!" And Kelsey even said "Much different than running a marathon, right Chelsea?!" She couldn't have been more spot on! I ended up feeling like the class was super tough but I was paired up with a coworker who was so supportive and kind (thank you, Shideh, if you're reading this!). By the time my 7 class pass was up, I was hooked and became a monthly member. I even joined Team Tread (their half & full marathon training program) in January to start training for the Nashville Half in April 2020. Unfortunately for me, my SOS morning routines were abruptly halted in March 2020. But luckily, my team tread registration got me into the "digital studio" which I had no idea what it was at the time. I very quickly uncovered that it's all the same studio instructors and they have recorded classes with new uploads almost daily as well as a huge library of online classes (which as you can imagine has only grown in the past 5 years). I did what everyone else was doing and immediately ordered as many dumbbells, resistance bands, and other equipment to build up a "home SOS studio" and my equipment has been growing ever since. I moved to Arizona in summer 2021, and have continued to be a dedicated Digital Studio user and advocate. Whenever I come home to Ohio (whether Cbus or Cincy), I get giddy at the thought of going to classes in person and it's a treat to choose which classes I'll take and with which instructors. I got married in June 2024 and I purchased the "Badass Bride" classes on the Digital Studio. As I was taking them and leaving comments the owner, Gretchen, messaged me and said she wanted to send me an SOS wedding gift. You'd never believe how touched I was to see a SOS tank, hoodie, sweat towel and t-shirt show up the week of my wedding. I'm still so honored by these thoughtful gifts. Someone I've never even met in person (which is hard to believe given how obsessed I am with SOS lol!) went out of their way to make my wedding week all the more special. I can honestly say SOS Digital Studio has helped me get in the best shape of my life. I feel like I personally know all of the trainers (I don't have social media anymore, but when I did, I followed all of them, so again, felt like I kew them personally). When I was in Hawaii for my wedding, SO many people were asking me about my arms and complimenting me. I kept trying to tell them about the DS and how special SOS is. I will always be a dedicated and loyal fan. It's become such a part of my routine that I'm on Christas Break now with my husband in Kansas (where he's from) and I've brought my ankle weights, light weights and loop bands just so I can get some classes in. Thank you, Gretchen and team for helping me be the best version of myself every day! Can't imagine what I'd do without the DS and my SOS training crew! (Only word of advice to newbies- the System DOES work! Don't skip out on any classes. As you can imagine, being a marathon runner, I favored all of the cardio classes. It was my first time there but I got no introduction to the studio or space and didn't feel very welcomed. The class itself was ok - it's under infrared so I got a decent sweat but I'm not sure the workout itself was as hard as my sweat would lead you to believe (no second day soreness). The instructor said it was a old class layout they tried to revamp so I'd be willing to give it another shot but the overall format/moves felt like they were trying to do too much and less cohesive. Four stars mostly based on reputation alone as I've heard great things from others and think it may have been a one off experience.

A very fun community of people who want to stay healthy and strong. One cool thing I liked was at the end they place a cooling towel on your forward with final meditation and relaxation.. it's a such a great way to end a workout as well as kickstart your day with peace. When the classes aren't too full either , the instructors will walk around and assist with position corrections to help keep your body in line and achieve greater mobility feeling in the stretches! I would recommend booking your classes in advance, especially Sunday hot yoga because they can fill up and you know get a spot. I have prebooked online every time I have gone and I always get a spot compared to walk-ins or waitlisted. Just a tip so you don't miss out! Prices are set at $15 a class or you can get a bundle of 15 classes for $160 making the class just under $11 for each class. If you're like me who isn't good about committing to monthly unlimited memberships, the bundle is a great deal that will last you a year!

Space in the entryway is quite tight, so it can make taking off socks/shoes (bare feet only in studio) and stowing your belongings a little awkward. The restroom, entry and studio are all very clean and inviting. Prices are very comparable with other Columbus yoga studios. I'll definitely be back in the future!
