Then spoke with Ethan about some travel plans we have. Both Ray and Ethan were the epitome of great customer service. Ray and Ethan were friendly and helpful, gave great suggestions and advice, brought up ideas and points that we had not previously considered, and patiently answered all the questions we had. Thank you Fullerton AAA! A few months ago we began planning a trip to Italy. Since we have AAA membership, we went into the local office and had the pleasure of meeting Ethan Zahn. We already had in mind that we wanted to take a tour rather than try to navigate ourselves around a foreign country. Ethan asked a few questions such as how long to you want to be there? What is your budget? So, we chose Trafalger's Best Of Italy! He made some very good suggestions like get there a day early, get the travel insurance, have a private transport pick up at the airport and pay tour guide and bus driver tips in advance. Ethan's travel agent experience was just what we needed for a trip like this. Since he did so well helping us plan this trip, we have used his expertise to book a trip to Hawaii. If you have AAA, use the free travel services! If you don't have AAA, this is a great reason to get it! Changing a tire in the dark, on a winding dirt road sucks so it is well worth the money. And I don't know about you but I hate looking through endless flights and untold numbers of hotels to find the best deals for travel. Let Ethan Zahn do the hard work so all you have to do is show up for the flight and enjoy your trip....just one more thing about Ethan...when something goes wrong (canceled flight from London to Rome, he was just an email away with a sympathetic ear. This AAA site has improved since my last review. The bathroom was a LOT cleaner, and the staffing level seemed higher. Service/wait time was about the same for registration, which says to me that the workload has increased, but staffing levels seem to be keeping up with it. Employees were helpful and friendly. Came to this location to pick up some maps, get a free promotion item and asked about Real ID appointments. Maps I wanted to get is the California Gold Huell Howser maps. There are two of them. Pretty excited to go on a road trip with the family to some of these local destination. Yes, you can get an online version. But I wanted the kids to learn how to read a regular road map, and appreciate the little footnotes on the side of the map. The free gift was a blanket that AAA offered. No hassle, no obligations. Lastly, Real ID can now be done at this location. Not all AAA will have this service, but the Fullerton location has it. I was glad to come by in person as they gave me a very detailed print out of how to get the process started. The young lady that helped me, was super friendly and helpful. Been a member for over 6+ years, and this is the first time going into the office. Pretty excited to return to get more services handled and more maps. read more

We've used services at this location less than 10 times in the last 2 decades we've been here. Service has been good until our recent visit on 1/8/26. We needed a passport photo taken. Waited for about 15 minutes. The man who helped us wasn't rude, but not your typical friendly interaction we normally have with other staff members. In fact, he hardly said two words to us which make it awkward and he seemed like he was not happy to be working that day. Did not direct us in anyway and when we got to the area for the photo he quickly grabbed the camera, took the photo and barely looked at it before he hit print. As it turns out, when we went to submit our application, the agent asked for a better photo because the one we had from AAA was much too dark. So be aware if you're using this service as part of your premiere benefit, make sure the photo is bright enough. We ended up having to pay $20 to have it retaken. Would have given this a 2 star if it wasn't for our previous interactions with other staff. read more

So I wanted to do a title transfer and I went to the Fullerton DMV, and the line was still out the door around 4:15pm. I have had AAA for 20+ years, but have only utilized them for towing and have never come to any locations for any DMV related issues. So I get here around 4:30 and I check in at the front desk and the man confirms they do title transfers. I wait about 5 minutes and get called. The younger lady who was helping me was extremely helpful and friendly and I was in and out in about 10 minutes. All that time I have wasted at the DMV and I could have gone to AAA instead. Don't know about the other services they offer, but I'm giving them a 5 star for how quick and efficient this process was compared to the DMV. read more

With COVID allowing for more on-line services with the DMV, I've found that my in person transactions have decreased significantly. However, if I have to do DMV business AND it's not DL related, I come here. Actually, I've been coming here for over 12 years. The location is convenient, right off of Harbor between Brea and Bastanchury. Parking is ample with both ground and structure parking. The check in process is usually quick and I've only had to queue up outside just once, but that was at the height of COVID when all the screening and precautions were everywhere... Once checked in, I've never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to be called. I've done everything from transferring my boat title (the two happiest days of a boat owner is the day he buys the boat and the day he sells it, yes!), registering a donated wheelchair van for my business (and I wasn't the business owner), verifying transfer of my personalized plates and submitting my old plates for destruction, getting a home and auto insurance quote, and getting discounted hotel and entrance tickets to Legoland. Basically, anything travel or auto/boat related I can do here. My mother-in-law's boyfriend I think even got Mexican pesos here (don't tell him, but it's much better in San Ysidro or just going to an ATM in Mexico for the exchange rates), so it really is a travel center, too. The interior, while dated, is relatively clean and is easily navigated. The staff, from the check in person to the person helping you with your transaction is very polite, courteous and helpful. Not like the club in Alhambra where the person there was having a really bad day and took it out on all of us... but you can read that review, later. For the times you have to go to an office to conduct a DMV transaction or need travel assistance or insurance, the directions are clear...Take Harbor and look out for the AAA sign. read more

Staff was not clear on options or intentions; i came to ask how I could lower my insurance payment, instead the associate tried to "bundle" life insurance and rental insurance, making changes to my policy as he talked, he assumed i rented my place, when i asked him, why would I get rental insurance when I own my place, he said he assumed and "now had to undo what he added to my policy"......bad experience, i came out of this location disappointed and I guess confirmed that AAA does not care about their customers, we are a number and money. I need the insurance at this time but as soon as I get the opportunity, I will find a new company, one that hopefully cares enough to listen and ask questions before just making changes. read more

I've been utilizing yelp for over five years when a business updates their profile you assume the hours of operation are correct and you shouldn't have to call in advance. That was my mistake Instead of adjusting there yup to reflect their actual hours of operation they're paying someone to stand outside with a ghetto sign telling everyone that they are closed.. Verbally stating the hours versus showcasing them on a sign. Making the excuse that it was last minute. I am annoyed because I got a smog earlier this morning and there was a AAA in Huntington Beach but I drove to this one because it was closer to my house because I figured I could just go home afterwards. Came to register my car. After 19 minutes standing in line I asked to talk to a manager who was at lunch. The dmv even gives you a place to sit while waiting. Apparently this place is worse than the dmv!! Stay away!!! Triple A of Anaheim is way better. This place is slow and ridiculous to make you stand and wait. read more

Tania gave me recommendations on what's best protection for myself and my daughter. She wasn't selling me a policy with having to feel pressured and wanting me to commit that very second. She advices that I go over options with my daughter., she emailed me my different options, and advices to take notes on any questions I or my daughter may have. Then suggested I get my membership over the phone so it would save me time when I go do title change. Best of all told me about the membership deal that's going on and perk of added my daughter to my AAA membership va with no extra cost. Advices me to call in 30 days from day I became a member if I didn't use services ( road die assistance ) to do an upgrade on membership. One stop shop! The DMV was impossible to get through to, so I was hopeful that we were able to figure out why I wasn't receiving my registration. As my registration was 10 months expired, I was even willing to pay again so that I could just stop being paranoid about being pulled over for expired plates, and get up to date registration tags on my car. I brought in all of the required paperwork including smog checks, payment processed (from the Dmv) etc. When AAA told me the problem I WAS IN SHOCK! Somehow I overpaid $30 to the dmv. OVERPAID. Due to this OVERPAYMENT they were holding my registration until further review! Explain the logic in this? They wouldn't release it until I got through to them (the dmv) which I tried but after 2.5 hours on hold, I gave up. Enters AAA. Not only did they give me my registration on the spot, they cleared my dmv OVERPAYMENT and got me a refund sent to me less than 30 days later from the DMV. It's mothers day this weekend. If your mom doesn't have AAA, and she owns any vehicle / boat/ anything that moves... THIS is the gift for her! Saves you so much time, on top of rescuing you stranded on the street you don't have to deal with the DMV. Thank you AAA! This facility in particular is clean. Tons of seating area. Leticia is the person that made my experience A+ with aaa. You can ask for her specifically! My only wish was there was more than 2 handicap, with a building this big.
