My mother needed to have a document notarized. We found some time to visit AAA over the weekend. Although calling in was a bit confusing for me. We went first thing in the morning to get the service we needed. Being first in line was a plus for us as we were in and out within 10mins. The confusing part is that I wanted to make an appointment but couldn't figure it out while making the call. I also didn't know how to speak to a representative rather than navigating through their automated menus. Upon arrival there was a sign that stated specifically for notaries, that an appoint was needed for Saturday visits. We did go on a Saturday with no appointment made but was still able to complete our task. The biggest plus is the price we paid as it was cheaper than other notaries. Come in to renew my car tags. This location was packed but very well organized. When you first walk in you get inline. Once it's your turn the person will let you know to have a seat and they will call your name. But since I was there to get my tag I was sent to another line. Very quick and easy process. Paid the lady and got my tags right away. I've done to the dmv and it can be a headache to get your tags. Especially if you wait to the last min. I will definitely be coming back. read more

I walked over at 4:30pm and the whole place looked closed. I turned around to leave and noticed a lady walking from the back of the building. I asked if she worked for AAA. She said no, but they are open. The gate was locked so she had to jump over a 5 foot fence and she fell. I helped her up and she said it looks closed but they are all hiding inside. So I hoped over the locked fence and walked around to the back. (Everything online said the office is open until 5. But no open signs and no signs with hours in the front of the building) I got to the back and the doors were locked. I went to leave and another customer walked out. I knocked and only then did someone come out and say, "how can I help"?! So I handed over my paperwork because you cannot go in. Half way through helping me they say, sorry it's five and we are closed. Please come back tomorrow at 9am. If you hate helping people, please don't work in customer service. It's just a shame that there's absolutely nothing that the public can do to fix a problem like this. Sure, everyone hopes that they don't have to work the last minute of the day, but I would never close shop and hide before closing time. It's a shame! read more

My husband and I went at opening today for our international driver license and I had my son swim class coming up. They were very accommodating and one guy took my husband picture right away and the customer service who provided us with the license was awesome! Holy crap. This was a nightmare experience. If you ever try for AAA homeowners insurance (especially if your sales agent is Sabrina Alacio), just RUN AWAY. They provided me coverage after a first call. Great. I had to pre-pay for one year, whatever. But they didn't have the correct info on the house as it was remodeled in 2018. They asked for records of the electrical and plumbing and for the remodel plans, which I don't have a copy of. I guess I'm stupid here, but something they should have known is... you can look these records up at LADBS online. They are PUBLICLY AVAILABLE! So after sending them pictures of my entire house under remodel to attempt to prove it, they said it would go to underwriting. I sent whatever plans I DID still have as well. Well, those pictures and plans would have sufficed, but they said the plans were from 2012. No, it says the date right on them. ALSO - LOOK THEM UP ONLINE if you're in the insurance biz. How do they not know this?? So not only were they expensive. They were dumb as dirt and completely unresponsive to almost every call and email that I put in. What a freakin joke. Update below...We went to notarize paperwork. Waited possibly 5 minutes in line and called right away. As a Premier Member the service was free. Dennis was very kind and the process was quick. A satisfied customer. Thank you! Mom and I went back again and this time Adriana assisted us. Her service is why they call it "customer service !" First, Adriana scheduled for lunch break in 15 minutes. (Didn't happen) Mom had to get a paper notarized and get dmv tags. Sounds simple right. Not! Mom paid her insurance late so information not processed. Adriana allowed us to call insurance, pay fee, have insurance company. Email her directly verification and then she assisted us on how to use smartphone to pay dmv $14 late fee and once paid she made a call and verified info registered on dmv system and then issued us moms dmv tags. Oh, and she notarized the paperwork. She all this with a big heart! No grumbling, no mumbling; just words to ease us such as "its okay, they know im helping you." That's CUSTOMER SERVICE! Just a note to let you all know is that AAA does not do anything pertaining to your drivers licence,you must go to the DMV for those services. One of the best in services when it comes to you getting a flat tire or locking your keys in your Vehicle,that they will respond within 30 minutes or even running out of gas,they will bring you at least 1 gallon. You as a costumer should always do your own research in obtaining your own insurance with other companies.I'm sure you could get a different rate.When you have multiple items on your policy,your going to get a lower rate,or even multiple drivers. One, I don't want to use my credit card, two I don't carry cash, and three I don't carry checks. They claim the fee they charge can't be charged to a debit card. Why now? It's a form of payment. CARMEN IS MY HERO! I wanted to process a vehicle title transfer in the morning. There was a bit of a hiccup because I started two processes at the same time, but she contacted the other dmv office and sorted the whole thing out. In addition, I had to leave in the middle of the process and she just gave me a call the next day and left me a voicemail about how everything was completed and that I will be receiving something in the mail within the next few weeks. Flat tires, locking my keys in the car, dead batteries, minor and major accidents, running out of gas...Auto Club will come and save the day! As a woman who drives a lot, it's an indispensable service. This location has such pleasant and nice people and great customer service! I love that I can pay my DMV auto registration fees here and get my new tags right away! I also make my AAA auto insurance payment here. There's a huge back parking lot and it's convenient and quick. You can use their vacation services, but auto and life insurance and take passport pictures at their locations. Auto Club keeps me safe and sane. Plus they have clean restrooms. This AAA and honesty the entire company has been a complete waste of my time and especially money, that I had no idea was being taken from me for an entire year. I had gone in during August of 2022 to cancel an insurance policy as I had sold the car that was on the policy. I come to find out an entire year later via text message that they had been charging me for an entire other insurance policy that I had no idea was in my name. I only received notice because the policy was ending. I have since reached out multiple times throughout the year to cancel this policy however it wasn't until it had expired that the representatives noticed the mistake. They have offered to refund me for the policy that should have never existed in the first place however after one single email they have left me with no response of any sort nor have they made any attempt to show that they are working to help refund me. I do not want to have to write this review but I feel as though I have no other choice in order to get their attention. They have taken hundreds from my bank account all without my knowledge over the course of a year, and now that My policy is expired I believe they are choosing to ignore my attempts in the hopes that I will forget or give up. I would never recommend this insurance company to anyone as they have shown themselves to be nothing but thieves and liars. I hope that they will make things right and return my money but I have very little faith as they have shown no interest in refunding me at all. Wow... I am just floored. I have been a member of the Auto club for so many decades... Sometimes help comes quickly, sometimes I have to wait a little. But today's experience tops it all off. I will be calling tomorrow canceling my membership and demanding a refund for the year I just paid. So I had two different phone numbers to call for roadside assistance in Southern California. I alternated calling them, although I expect they went to the same place as the pre-recorded options sounded exactly the same for each number. I was placed on hold listening to awful hold music each time for a period of 15-25 minutes... after which time the system disconnected me and I had to call back and start the process over again. After over four hours of this (No exaggeration), I gave up and called a tow company and just paid for a tow. Was I stranded on the freeway? That sounds very messed up and dangerous. Was I stranded in a very bad part of the city where my life could have been in jeopardy? That also sounds very dangerous, a breech of contract and total negligence. I tried to call the office, where I experienced the same death hold and disconnection. I guess they were not in a mood today to provide any roadside assistance, or any office assistance... Or perhaps any assistance at all in anyway. It was such a big letdown, and so potentially very dangerous that I am sharing my horrible experience with you all and discontinuing all relationships with AAA. Just to reiterate... I did not wait over four hours for a tow... I tried for over four hours just to get them to answer the phone!!! ... Beyond ridiculous!!! read more

I can't say enough how efficient and organized this AAA is! Flashback to four weeks ago, I was going to pay my registration renewal for my Prius through the CA DMV, which is a train wreck. Low and behold, I cannot pay online and they don't say why and my payment is due in one day! I call the DMV Monday morning and they say I have a recall on my 2015 Toyota Prius for which the DMV never bothered to include in my original notice. So I mail certified my check to the DMV postmarked on the due date and then have to wait all day for a ridiculous recall software update on my prius. Low and behold, the DMV cashed my check and send me a late fee of $27...three weeks later. I go to the AAA this morning in a long line before they open. The line moves very fast and I meet with Stella (or Stellen), who was absolutely fabulous. I show her the recall certificate and just want to pay the $27 just so I don't need to deal with the horrible DMV. Stella helps to waive the fee and provide me with the tags and registration under 5 minutes! I would like to thank Stella for all her help and this goes to show that always go to AAA if you can and NOT the DMV. read more

Came to this location for convenience and I never will again. Went in to ask some questions regarding senior citizen travel and walked out with such a bad taste in my mouth. Not only did I end up waiting almost an hour when the place wasn't even busy I encountered two very rude employees. One had no idea what I was talking about while the other was just rude. After waiting quite a while I went to ask if I could just get some quick information since the travel agents were busy. As soon as I went into the cubicle the attitude started. She asked where I wanted to travel, not taking me seriously probably because of my age. In response I said no where specific I want information about senior citizen travel options. I never even mentioned that I wanted this information for school research. I guess she figured that was the case and shot me down immediately. Before I could even get another word in she insisted she could not help me and that "we don't do interviews." First off, some manners would do you good. I've been a member for years, my family has been a member for much longer, and I have never encountered such rude behavior. Secondly, I did not step foot into that building with any intention of getting an interview. I understand corporate policy is a thing but I simply wanted information regarding senior citizen travel options. What I do with that information is none of her concern. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because She finally realized how long we had been waiting and was decent enough to give me some suggestions. There is a big difference between giving a long time member general information, while not wanting to be quoted, and just being rude and condescending. Now I'm not exactly sure if she was just having a bad day or several other students had called prior to my visit asking similar questions and she was just over it but that was just unacceptable. read more

I think their finance charge is something crazy like 20% that adds up to your monthly bill if you don't pay your dues in full.... SUGGESTION: Call a State Farm agent. I have saved over $700 for my two cars... PLUS, State Farm doesn't have the stupid crazy finance charge rate.. If you don't pay your dues in full they charge only $1! I'll admit, when I first walked into AAA today I was super bummed out to see an extremely long line. Fortunately for me, the line was the worst part of it. As soon as I checked in there was about a ten minute wait before I was seen by an agent. I had to figure out new insurance for my new car *wink wink* and the whole process took about an hour. This included discussing several different options to see what fitted me best. Overall I am very pleased with the service I received today.
