I got 3 quotes to restore my crema marfil (the beige marble) floor. AAA was the first quote: David Montgomery (the owner) was at my home in hours to give me a quote, but to be thorough I got 2 others. The 3rd quote was by a company on the cover of the "home pros guide" magazine delivered to me in Miami-Dade. They took 2 days to give me an estimate, but when they arrived to give me the estimate, they said they could start immediately and had a crew waiting in the van and would do the job for 30% less. I quickly learned that you get what you pay for when it comes to restoration. There was no "crew", and I shared the job of hauling my furniture out. The workmanship was even worse: at the end of day 1 (of what was described as a 1-day job), there was absolutely no visible difference in the floor - still covered in scratches. I told the worker to stop, spoke with "the office", and was told they could do the necessary honing (which should have preceded the polishing). On day 2 the man came back with the proper diamond honing discs, but doing a "test section" to completion, I could see the floor had a matte finish that was now worse looking than any other part of the house (he had now honed the tiles, but couldn't polish/restore correctly). My attempt to save a few hundred dollars had turned into a disaster. I got on the phone and called David at AAA and explained the situation. He had given me the first quote, which was higher, but he had clearly communicated the process and end result, like a professional, and not a carpet cleaner looking to branch out. David offered to come on a Saturday to fix the mess the other company had made, and he delivered: the floor is not just polished, but RESTORED and looks better than the day I moved in, which is why I'm proud to write this, their first Yelp review. read more

I dropped a bottle of apple cider vinegar on my marble floor which left a HUGE etch mark. I tried to fix it on my own with no luck. I had AAA Marble Care come out and they not only removed the etch mark, they made my entire marble floor look better then new. I mean, there is absolutely NO remnants of the etching and the floor is brighter and shiner then I have ever seen. I get compliments from everyone who comes over. David did an amazing job on our marble floors. When we bought the house, the floors were coated with a cheap wax that was collecting dirt. There were also several patches of missing pieces and scratches. After David and his crew got through, it looked stunning...and no sign of the original defects. Not only was the job done perfectly, but David was so nice and accommodating. When our power and water went out while they were working, he was so patient and understanding while we scrambled to get it back on. Same with the AC not working. Dave installed a sealant on our slate floor that stained it badly, yellow spots everywhere. He did come back a few times but has still not resolved the problem. He has apparently given up, not returning text messages. Now the ball is in our court to fix it and repay someone else to clean up after him. He told me that he could make more money on people with yachts that were bigger than our house. Even sent me a picture. Nice touch! To be fair, the job he did on our marble was fine. Dave installed a topical sealant to our fossil tile patio. The sealant product is blistering, yellowing, and is dangerous since it is too slippery! We have contacted Dave since November 6, 2017, to resolve the problem. He will not return calls to discuss the problem, nor will he schedule a date to fix the problem. He has acknowledged the problem to me and an associate that recommended, but he refuses to respond to recent text messages, or telephone messages. My husband and I moved into our new house in May. The house was in good condition but the previous owners were messy to say the less. We have Travertine floors in every square inch of our 1980 sq. ft house. The previous owners did not take very good care of the floors. There were food stains, pet stains, paint stains, and who know what other kind of stains on there. We also had tape that was stuck to the floor, cracks that were not fixed properly and new cracks that had formed from them moving their belonging out. My husband and I debated over two months what to do with the floor. We tried many do it yourself cleaning techniques for the floor but at the time we had no idea what the gray stains on the floor were (dog piss and cat vomit from previous owner.) After painting the walls and adding nice clean fixtures to the house the floors just kept looking worst. I found myself online looking for someone to come and fix our floors at a fair price. Being new to South Florida we knew no one. I stumbled across Dave and AAA marble. He had excellent reviews on multiple sites. I researched and called everyplace in the local South Florida Area that would come to Hollywood. I was very unimpressed by all the other companies out there. I am someone who does extensive research before I commit to anything especially having work done in my new home. I would recommend you all do your research as I did for your own peace of mind. None of the other local company even came close to getting hired for the job. There prices were ridiculous, there attitudes were subpar, they were late with no phone call, or outright had no real knowledge. Dave is the owner; he takes pride in his company. I gave him a call and he came to the house the next day to do an in-home estimate (always get an in home estimate or you are getting ripped off and if the company you called shows up for an estimate with people in a van outside ready to work they are going to destroy your floor; you get what you pay for.) He measured out our rooms looked at the damage to the floor and gave us an honest answer to our dirty floors. He never tried to rip us off or sell us anything more. He identified all the mysterious gray spots and explained to us why they are there. Two weeks later I called to schedule the floor cleaning with Dave he called me back by the end of the day and I was able to get and appointment promptly (Four days on a Friday like I needed.) Our project was a two day clean so we needed a Friday and Sat since my husband and I both work. Since I work in the medical field it is hard for me to use my phone to call when I have patients. I was able to confirm everything with Dave via text message from him personally which is what I wish more place would offer. Dave and his man showed up 5 minutes early and took care of everything. There was no damage done to my walls, furniture, cabinet, molding, or doors. To my surprise when I came home I found my house back together with beautiful shinny clean floors. I could not be any happier with the results. Two days later Dave sent a follow up message to make sure we were 100% satisfied with our floors. We had a few small fillers that needed to be fixed. Dave stopped by after work filled them and our floor is perfect. I was so impressed with the services, speed, and price of this project. I will be using Dave and AAA marble again for all our future needs. I am extremely picky and work hard for my money (as we all do) so I always feel extensive research is needed if I am paying for a service, especially towards an investment in my house, it should be of high quality and I should be 100% satisfied. I had David do my travertine flooring and grout back in October '17. David came out and provided me a quote 1 day after I had placed a call to inquire. I was a little taken back by the price, but David ensured me that our flooring would look exponentially better than it did, and that you essentially get what you pay for. He also said that his company ONLY does natural stone. That was their business. My wife and I opted to go with David's company and he showed up the following week to complete the cleaning. He did bring another technician with him along for the job. They arrived at approximately 8:30 am and David had previously told me that the job would take approximately 6-8 hours. At around 4 p.m. that same day, I arrived back at the house to check on their progress. David said he needed approximately 30-45 more minutes. After that time frame elapsed, I came back and reviewed his work. He filled and repaired numerous grout lines, as well as holes in the travertine. I will be completely honest in saying that his color matching wasn't entirely accurate, but it does look a lot better than it used to. He filled many holes and took time to fill in the aforementioned grout. I initially gave David a hard time about the appearance of the floor the following day, and he expressed patience saying that it could take up to 72 hours (and sometimes longer) for it to become fully dry. Well, after 3+ months, the floors look good. Do they look as if the tiles were just laid? No. They look better than they used to, after having been essentially neglected for 5+ years. I am content with the work David and his crew had done. Perhaps I was expecting a little more given the price I paid, but overall, I would say AAA Marble Care did a fine job. I will most likely use them again in the future for our heavy traffic areas. One thing I was very impressed with was David's response time and patience in explaining the entire process as well as realistic expectations. Travertine is an extremely porous and somewhat sensitive stone. I believe David did the best with what he was presented. read more

Beware. David is very quick to respond to provide a quote, perform the work and take your money however if you have issues with finished product or workmanship all of a sudden David becomes very hard to reach. We had AAA Marble [K]Care clean, polish and seal our tiled flooring to prevent any further dirt from collecting on them. David said he could do it without hesitation and stated he had performed this job before. Our place is a seasonal residence that sees limited traffic, our tiles quickly got dirty again. After contacting David to express the situation, only then did he disclose that the sealant didn't take correctly and stated he would come by later that day to discuss as he was nearby. He didn't show. After repeated attempts to contact him by phone, text and email he responded that my tiles were some marble knock off and "since its not marble .. I'm sorry". I asked him to contact me to resolve the situation, he hasn't. read more

A week ago - we had Marble Care work on our marble floors. I wish I could post a photo of the floor. You would see a high shine with blue skies and white clouds reflecting from the outside onto the floor. Dave came out and gave us a quote. We had our floors restored and polished. We were so pleased with how the main living area came out, we had them lip the rest of the marble floors. Lipping smooths and flattens out the floor. It eliminates the bump you feel in the floor when you pull out a chair or try to move something by rolling it across the floor. The work ethic is fantastic. They were on time, followed the building rules and did not leave a mess behind. They worked. They took a reasonable time for lunch. They were organized. No one was running back and forth to the truck for this or that. When leaviing Mike (one of the guys on the crew) said in a few days the floor will look better. I thought yeah, right. Mike was correct. It looks better. We would not hesitate to use AAA Marble Care, again. read more

I contacted David at AAA Marble Care to give me a quote on restoring my travertine floors. I had contacted other companies; yet David not only had the best price, he had a great personality and was very insightful with what was needed to be done and the process that was going to take place to restore my floors. To be honest, I was very discouraged with the condition of my floors and wasn't even sure they would look nice. They were in really bad shape and I was at the point I wanted to put new flooring. David, however, said he could definitely restore them. His prices were extremely reasonable for all the work entailed. David and his coworker, Michael arrived EXACTLY at the time he promised. David sent a reminder the day prior to let me know I was going to get my "shiny" new floors. Well David and Michael worked a full non-stop day and I can assure you, they did a miracle with my ugly travertine floors. It looked as if I had BRAND NEW FLOORS installed. It was AMAZING!!!!! Seeing is believing as my entire family was in shock with the transformation. They didn't even look like travertine anymore. They looked like a rich marble had been placed in my home. David and Michael even transformed my travertine in my bathrooms. I was ready to remodel the entire bathroom as I disliked the way the floor has been placed and the quality looked horrible. Well, David and Michael fixed that and I absolutely admire the workmanship and beauty in what they did to my floors. I give them 5 plus stars.
