If you happen to visit this branch, be cautious of a male Asian employee. I also recommend reading other reviews about him. I've been a AAA member for 17 years, but I have never encountered someone as unfriendly and arrogant as this person. I seriously wonder how such a person is allowed to deal with customers. If AAA has a customer care department, they should not only read this review but also consider the feedback from other customers about him. What's even more concerning is that when I complained about his behavior, his manager yelled at me to leave the store before they called the police. Once again, if AAA has a customer care department, they should seriously consider the conduct of the staff working at this store. I needed to renew my RMV Drivers license and get my Read ID. Last month we had a very unpleasant experience with my husband's license renew in the RMV office and waiting for more than 2.5 hours despite our existing appointment scheduled in advance. My experience today was the complitely opposite. The appointment in this AAA office stated just a soon asI walked in. Everything was done very quickly and very professional to my full satisfaction. I woke up this morning to my rear driver tire reading 21. I went to gas station to put some air in it in order to get to work. I filled it up to 34. Got to work 4 hours later back down at 26. I purchased AAA Premium service. I commute an hour away and am currently 7 months pregnant and thought it was just good to have. I purchased membership at 10:00am. Put in a service request to have my spare tire put on at 11:40am. Technician 4402 - Wesley P arrive at 12:00pm put on spare and was done by 12:05pm. He was attentive, polite and fast. Glad I decided to get the premium service for my husband and myself with a baby on the way! I hope this 5 star review makes it's way to Wesley! read more

I called AAA towing I've been a member for 27 years they called Cmt towing. I stayed with my vehicle for 3 hour with my 5 year old grandson the AAA person told me to leave the keys and they would tow the vehicle. I received a call from Cmt towing telling me he had highway and he would tow my vehicle later I wanted the vehicle towed supervisor Curtis hung up on me when I asked for her name she was very rude told me she didn't believe me. After being a member for 27 years and never had a problem and to get treated like that I reported the incident and nobody ever got back to me I guess no one cares if they would listen to the tape recording they would see. I started looking at some of the reviews about AAA and I'm not the only one that's having trouble like this. Sitting there for 3 hours with my 5 yegrandson really bothered me. I'm being called a liar. She could care less if I sat there for 10 hours with my grandson. read more

I just got to say this place was super easy to use and conveniently located. I used them for the rmv services to get my licence renewed and updated to the real id. Not only do they let you schedule online before hand they go far out to plan wise. They also are very courteous upon arrival. They greeted right when I entered the building. Once attended to, it only took 10 minutes. By far the fastest I've ever taken to complete any rmv related trips. If I can use them for any other services this will be the first place I would go to. read more

I visited the North Reading AAA location today to renew my drivers license. I made an appointment in advance, and completed the online application prior to arriving. I was called to the service desk within minutes, and I was greeted with a smile and a pleasant demeanor. The AAA representative was helpful, professional, and kind. In addition, he was thorough in reviewing my documents, and careful to double check all entries in the computer. There is no room for error when in comes to the new REAL licensure protocols. This was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend this location for any and all transactions needed, whether its RMV transactions, or regular AAA membership business. Obviously during the COVID pandemic waiting a little longer isn't a big deal, however I made an appointment for my dad and when he arrived he waited an additional 45 minutes even though he schedule a license renewal online with the proper paperwork. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE,HORRIBLE!!! Arrived to my appointment on time with all my paperwork in order. Went through the initial review of required paperwork for my realID no problem. Upon the entry of all my info by another one of the employees I was asked if i would like my middle name included in my license as its printed on my passport, and like a FOOL I said sure why not. WELL, it seems that there is an individual in the state of NJ that has an outstanding ticket of some sort , he just happens to have same birthdate as myself and his first and last name are the same as my middle and last name. The state of Massachusetts software has a glitch that because of the similarities will not issue me a renewal of my expired license. The branch is unwilling to help me rectify the problem that they created by simply removing my middle name off the realID request. NOW, like i have nothing else to do, I need to request from the state of NJ a letter stating the person in question with the outstanding ticket is not me, which will take about three to five weeks to obtain!!!!! It has been more years than I'd like to remember since I had to renew my drivers license and how thrilled was I to know that as a AAA member, I could do my application on line and then come here to do the rest! I went on a Saturday morning when they first openned and I was the 8th person in line. The vast majority of people there were there for the DMV purpose. The people who work there a very nice and helpful. One person checks you in, reviews your paperwork and then has you wait until the next person is ready to give you an eye test and take your picture. I was there for a little over an hour, but it was less hectic than the DMV. Pro tip, make sure you have all of your documentation before you get to the check in. Of the people in front of me, 3 ended up having to go to the paperwork counter, fill put a different form and then wait in line again. They got super frustrated so do what you can to have everything in order. I got my license less than a week later. I would definitely use this service again. While I waited, I read some of the travel service books and it reminded me that AAA has more than just road side assistance. read more

I just went to this branch to renew my Id to get the real id they were very helpful the moment my mom and I walked in the door. Showed me which form to to fill out for the Id then when I finished filling out the form a woman named Elizabeth had me show her my documents so she could decide which ones she needed for me to get my real id, she was really nice taking her time with my paperwork took my photo for the new id, have my temporary one for now. I would recommend this branch for a real id or drivers license. It was quick and easy no lines like the dmv, if your family member is aaa member u can come here. read more

Girl was unfriendly, no smile, seemed bothered to have to help us. Brought my elderly mom to get a passport photo which she thought was to be free but was not due to her plan. I have been there 4 times. I initially I didn't have some paperwork I needed so I got it. The woman who would have taken my photo and issued was so rude and abrupt because I didn't have it.. I went in the 3rd time. No one was here but me and several agents. The woman who appears to be in charge asked if I had a appointment and I said no. She made me make an appointment for the next week. Another agent said she would help me but the woman said no...(strange because I walked in the first time and didn't have an appointment) Today I went in and she told me I had an outstanding ticket.(from 2001)! How could I have renewed my license 3 more times since 2001 with an outstanding ticket? I told her I paid it last week but she was so rude and wouldn't let me finish my sentence. I had my bank statement to prove it but she kept cutting me off. She just said the RMV hasn't been updated. I am beside myself because I can't renew my license . This woman has no right to treat people so disrespectfully and rudely. I have worked customer service for over 40 years and never treated a customer the way she treated me. If you work in customer service usually you're supposed to be friendly and inviting when you have a customer. I walked in there wasn't anybody in line, there were 4 women, 3 on a computer and one rearranging a shelf. None smiling btw and didn't ask if they could help me for about 3 or 4 minutes Finally someone asks me what I need. I say I would like to get 2 ezpasses. they say ok you have to fill out the form on the wall. Great I fill it out, still no smiles and all look miserable. Take it to the girl, hand it to her, I proceeded to try and tell her there was an issue with my truck it was my dads he had passed and apparently there was an account connected to it but I wasn't sure. She looked at me and said "i have no idea" And put her hands up but proceeded to type my info.. I said I know you don't that's why I am trying to tell you. she just kept typing.. THen of course she said I can't give you an ezpass for the truck because there is another account attached to it..(wow really) I said that is what I was trying to tell you. She said I can give you one (for another car) but you'll have to call them I said who's them I mean really.. she said ezpass Kept typing and stating she will give me the number that was on a sheet I said can I have that(thinking I would call while I was standing there to rectify so she cold proceed with both) She said I will give it to you when I'm done (defeated the purpose) I asked what her name was she told me.. I went outside and called got it corrected went back in and asked them to add the other ezpass on.. Apparently you can't add one on once you open up an account and close it and all the women working there were now over at this persons desk like it was me Ridiculous.. SERIOUSLY! That's exactly why I wanted the number to call when it all started Also the reason I was trying explain to the unhappy customer service person that I knew there was an issue and if she understood the meaning of customer service she would have inquired about it and not throw her hands up and say I have no idea..
