Needed an international driving permit and the staff was really helpful and helped me get it under 10 min!

Unfortunately, my mother went here last week because she had to renew her license. She drove from Holyoke, and it was an extremely busy day on the road. She was stuck in traffic for over an hour. After finally getting to AAA, she was treated awful by a staff member who was in my opinion, using her power against my mom for no reason at all. Long story short, my mom was turned away because they said the documents, she were not clear enough. She was treated as if she was stupid, and the staff member should be held accountable for this. She ended up going to the West Springfield one a few days later and they told her that the documents she had in Hadley were fine, and they don't know why the staff member turned her away. In my opinion, it was an abuse of power and sometimes when people are given power, they take it and run with it. Please hold this employee accountable for these actions. read more

I have been bought my insurance through this office since 2008 and now I'm considering changing agents and leaving AAA. All calls are routed through the Springfield office and the gatekeeper there seems to believe her job is to prevent me from talking to my agent or making an appointment with her. I've made 4 calls over the past week to no avail. I'm sure other insurance agents would be happy to have my business. read more

The worst service!!! Unprofessional staff. I went to renew as driving license and because I have TPS they asked me for I94 , passports social security. So ignorants. Specially the two men there. They asked for I94 even they know I had a EAD card and TPS. I have real ID verified for RMV and the asked me personal questions "when you enter to US" "how" ... etc I just went to RMV and they gave me my renewed license in 5 minutes. If you are under any benefit like DACA or TPS avoid this place for renewing your license they don't have any knowledge about it. read more

I used to love AAA. I still carry roadside service, but the love is getting dusty. Just spent 30 minutes on hold when trying to call my local branch, only to eventually reach a call service center elsewhere, to then finally be able to schedule an appointment a week and a half out. Disappointing, def not the stellar AAA experience of yore. read more

Not everyone can handle the internet. Not everyone knows what a GIG is. But I do know what AAA is - personal attention - professionalism - current information. AAA offices are staffed with people who know your car - your insurance - and your trips. AAA knows how to get you the best prices - on the best tours - to the best places. When I go to my car when the temperature is 14 below zero - I know I can get a jump start from a friendly and professional assistant. When I want to travel - I know they will find a tour to meet my age - my abilities - and especially my interests. AAA IS OUTSTANDING! Hadley is among the best. But all AAA offices are totally professional. read more

AAA Pioneer valley was not able to provide the contracted services which I paid for. I requested a tow, and after many calls and requests was told the tow was not a priority, even when my daughter was stuck in a strange town. I was told the tow would be within the day. Finally got them to expedite it 2 hours later, but missed the repair appointment. The driver actually went to the place to tow it but refused to tow it without her being there, even when I was if I paid for the first estimate they would release the car to the driver and she didn't need to be there. This was a mile away, mind you. I finally had to pay out of pocket for a tow to try to get the car repaired, and she spent another day in a strange town. And missed her first day of a new job. What is the purpose of paying for a service if the service is not able to do the contracted job? Pioneer was extremely rude on the phone, and finally after listening to the tape (they didn't believe me) admitted I was correct. But I still had to pay out of pocket. Bad business model. read more

If the store hours are 9AM-5PM then they should continue to offer their services until 5PM. I went there to renew my license at 4:25PM and was told that they stopped offering registry services for the day. If this is the case, they should make their customers aware of this before they go all the way there just to be turned down although it says online that the office is open until 5PM. I'd also understand if I had a lot of paperwork to fill out, but I came in with all the necessary paperwork completed. There was barely anyone else there & I would've been done way before 5PM when they're actually supposed to close. Maybe I just had a bad experience, but hopefully this review will let other customers know that the hours posted online are not accurate for certain services. read more

I went to AAA to purchase auto insurance, but never actually got the opportunity. I waited in line for nearly 15 minutes in a line while it seemed like employees wandered listlessly about like caricatures of the post office. No one acknowledged my presence and I decided that certainly wasn't the kind of service to merit the higher rates of AAA. I'm sad to give this negative review. In California, from where I had just moved, AAA is a rockstar and I was a loyal customer. When you go in, they greet you and get you all set up (either with someone or to wait) and service is highly prized. Apparently, this isn't the case here in MA. I left and purchased insurance elsewhere. read more

I went in for a Gift Certificate. They were friendly and prompt. I was glad that during the Holidays it was a nice and quick visit.

I had a problem with a AAA travel card. Bruno, the customer service rep was great. He was relaxed and helped solve the issue. It's a busy office, but he did not rush me. Fine, personal service. read more

I was looking for a quick passport photo so I popped in to my AAA store and was out in a matter of minutes. Better yet, because of my Premier card, it was FREE. Great experience. read more

I went there, as a Plus member, to get my free passport photos. The service was indifferent and the photos terrible because the color balance was so bad that there was no skin tone. Photo totally bleached out. I told then this and they said that's what the photos were and that was it. I went over to CVS paid $10 and got good photos from a pleasant staff. I've had good road service in the past, but the office experience was not pleasant, and product, in this case the photos, unacceptable. read more

On July 1, 2019, I called AAA Pioneer Valley for roadside service, to tow my teenager's car after an accident in Northampton. We have been AAA customers for decades and have, to my knowledge, only used the tow service one time, and that was in eastern MA, not Pioneer Valley. It was almost 90 degrees when we called AAA. I then got a text saying the tow truck would be there within an hour of the time my call to them began. An hour later, I called and was told the tow truck would be late. That happened several times and I was finally told that the tow truck would be there by a time which was 1 hour and 55 minutes after I initially called AAA. I then cancelled the tow truck as I really felt I could not trust the arrival times and I made other arrangements. As I had told AAA in the series of calls, it was hot, we had no water, and I could not safely leave my daughter alone waiting for an unreliable tow truck arrival. I cannot believe for all the money we spend as a family of four drivers, when that money was specifically paid for situations like this if we needed roadside assistance, that AAA of Pioneer Valley's response was so substandard. I will not be renewing. For what? read more

I went to the AAA office as paying my bill online did not produce our new cards within 30 days. I got another temporary card from the Hadley office and although the office was busy I was in and out within 15 minutes. I was told I would receive my new cards within 7 days but still waiting. It's only been 12. read more
