I searched for "FreeTv" and discovered they had changed their name to Stream Wise Solutions. Fortunately, Brian and Bruce were still there. My equipment was so old that Brian recommended a Tablo upgrade. It was pricey, but I was Stream Wise able to get cable to my Xfinity modem brought into the house, something Xfinity and Best Buy didn't do. It was a difficult process. Juan did an outstanding job of bringing it into the house. If you are considering Stream Wise Solutions, ask for Juan. He is awesome. He really knows what he is doing. The Greeley sales man told be I had to hook up a phone or the price would be double the price. He refused to give me equipment unless I activated a phone line. I then called the main Xfinity number to verify the price and terms. I was told that this store was not honoring the terms and trying to upsell. The dishonesty was profound and the man literally became angry when I refused, told me to get service elsewhere, and stormed off leaving me standing at the desk. I went to a different store and was given the equipment without the drama. Don't give them your business. Don't take their word for anything. There are many official stores that aren't owned by greedy, lying, creeps.

The employee looked me dead in the eye and said, "We can't do anything. Well, unless you pay another $10 a month, then we can make it stop." So... You can do something, you just won't unless I have deeper pockets. Your customers are being harassed, but profits are more important. I don't know how my number got out to all the scammers, but it wouldn't surprise me if Xfinity sold it to them to force me to pay extra. We recently moved to Wellington and have only two providers, TDS and CenturyLink. Having already…read morehad CenturyLink and knowing how crappy they are, we gave TDS a try. Turns out they're not much better. The most annoying part is the lack of customer service. These photos are what was left after our installation. The cord was just left hanging out of the box, even though there's a conduit that was installed from the box to our house (new build), and the cover wasn't secured. There are at least four other homes connected to the box and all we'd have to do to mess with their internet is lift up the cover. I've contacted them three times about it, no one has showed up yet. Their equipment is also crap. They gave us a 1 GB modem (we have 300 Mbps service). Our internet was going in and out constantly, and not wanting to deal with their horrible service agents I figured I'd try and put in my old 176 Mbps max modem to see what happened. Internet works fine now even though it's about half the speed. The only thing positive I can say about TDS is it goes out less than CenturyLink did, which was all the time.
