I called The South Attleboro branch to ask about getting Euros for a trip to Europe. I was on hold for over 45 minutes and still nobody picked up to speak with me. At 5pm and my 45 minute mark, and when I assume they close, I was disconnected. This branch is thee worst! read more

Getting my real ID for Rhode Island could not have been easier. As long as you have your documents ready and brought the paperwork from the DMV this is a fast process. It will take you no more than 15 minutes. Just be ready for a quick picture and no retakes. Wish I could have seen my pic before she wrapped up. Five years to go....worst photo ever.... read more

I just waited 2 hours in this cold weather with my granddaughter after calling them 4 times to tell me they did not have an estimated time for them to come out and jumpstart my truck because my battery died. Thank goodness for a good Samaritan to stop and jumpstart my truck. I pay a lot of money for AAA and for them not to come today shame on them. read more

I recently finished my driving lessons and passed my road test with the help of AAA and especially Vladimir Tsozik. Vladimir, my instructor, was the best instructor out of the 3 instructors I've had. He helped me remain calm and relaxed as I was driving and learning the maneuvers. He was very friendly and I was not stressed at all during my lessons and even my road test. Vladimir is also a very skilled driver and showed me easy ways to parallel park and three-point turn. read more

This review is not reflective of South Attleboro branch but of AAA in general. I am really disappointed in AAA..my tire blew on rte 3 right before exit 4 in NH (Nashua) today I was able to get to right shoulder and proceeded to call AAA. I was on hold for at least 15 minutes while cars flew by me going 70 MPH+ before I spoke to a live person. Then I told the lady my location and she couldn't pinpoint my location..she then proceeded to put me on hold for another 10 minutes. Thankfully..NH DOT Safety Patrol sponsored by state farm pulled up behind me and changed my tire! Thank you Chris of the DOT! AAA needs to improve caller response time and staff competent personnel..very disappointing! read more

5 stars. Ladies here are informative, pleasant, and very quick. Got my registration renewed the day it expired and picked up an EZpass while I was here all in under half an hour. I always forget how much stuff you can accomplish here. Great branch and beats the RMV any day. read more

My grandmothers car got a flat and we couldn't get a tire at the ready so we asked for a tow. We've been waiting 1 hour to get a tow truck that we were suppose to get in less than 45 minutes. (Gold card member means nothing to AAA I guess) Thank god for the national grid worker who stuck by our side through this everlasting process... bad experience. Update: it's been 1 1/2 hours. Usually when I take the time to write a long review, it's indicative of good experiences or qualities. In this case, however, the length of my review is virtually metaphorical of my experience. I came in to this AAA location for a passport photo. I don't think I've had a more expedient transaction in my life. The agent who helped me was friendly, efficient, and even made a photocopy for me before I left, all in under 10 minutes. What more can you ask for? read more

Went to renew my license and to get the Real ID. The first time I went they reviewed all of my papers and said that everything was in order but that I needed my social security card, not just the number. Next weekend I went back with my SS card fully expecting to get my license renewed. Woman at the counter said that thy would not accept my birth certificate even though it was issued by the city in which I was born and was sealed. Not sure what the problem was as it was reviewed the weekend before and was fine. Incredibly frustrating experience. Still no license. I will spend yet another Saturday at AAA. UPDATE: Went to a different AAA with the same documents and had a very good experience. The staff was very helpful, short wait time, and I got my license renewed. read more

Stopped in AAA to buy movie tickets and decided to investigate a trip to Scotland. Agent had an appointment coming in shortly but I gave her my contact information and where we were interested in going and she said she would investigate and contact me. Two weeks later I am still waiting. I am researching private travel agents. Since we have not used road side assistance in years I am questioning the value. A purchase of discounted movie tickets once a year does not warrant the ever increasing membership fee. Update - my review needs a clarification- bottom line you need to become familiar with the agents and ask for certain individuals. The above story is true but tried again and Deidre was very helpful. Customer support is about as rude as it gets. Today like other times I go in there, ( South Attleboro Branch)the way they speak to me is awful. Today I needed to speak with a travel agent as I'm going away next week and had some questions about my trip they wouldn't even set an appointment for today. Maybe it's me but customer support should be just a little more accommodating and kinder. Again, this is not the first bad experience I've had. I will not renew my membership this year and I will never use there travel agents again unless things change. read more

We went to AAA in South Attleboro to plan our family vacation. Frankly, we were very undecided as to where we wanted to go, but the travel agent in this office, Melissa Knechtel, was very patient and listened to all of our thoughts and concerns. Ultimately, it was Melissa who realized that a trip to Greece might be exactly what we were looking for, and she was an enormous help in planning this trip. Furthermore, she did not try to push us into extremely expensive hotels or excursions, understanding that this was not necessary for us. All went well, and she made the experience very positive. If you call and need roadside assistance and TIFFANY takes the service call, you're better off walking home ! People don't enjoy saying the color of the car 6x to you. Pay attention please. You do that job a disservice and make someone's roadside emergency 500% worse. read more

The employees at AAA in South Attleboro helped me get signed up for the Hertz Gold membership (free with AAA membership), and reserved a car for me for pick up at my airport destination. It was so much easier and pleasant to deal with a friendly face than reserving the car online. So glad I made the trip into AAA. read more

Awesome...a short visit, just to have passport photos done, but as pleasant and as easy as it gets. I wasn't even up to the counter yet, when the young lady greeted me with a smile. I told her what I needed, she took my card, pulled up the account, and I paid for the photos. She led me to an alcove near the travel agents, took the photo, let me review it, and asked me to wait a few moments. As my wife and I were looking at brochures, she brought the photos over in an envelope, and we were off to the post office (who charges double what AAA did for photos). We got a flat in Mansfield tonite and once again called AAA FOR help. The toll free number now finds your location and connects you to local services. Within an hour we were on the road to home. I LOVE AAA. It is a security you should not leave home without. You are NEVER alone on the road with AAA membership. I have been to this branch of AAA many times over the years, and in general, all were good experiences. However, my most recent visit was the opposite. I purchased discounted tickets to Canobie Lake Park, which the clerk put in an envelope to hand to me. It wasn't until half way to NH that my daughter opened the envelope and discovered the tickets inside were for Lake Componce in CT. We turned the car around and returned to the S. Attleboro Branch to get an exchange for the correct tickets. I expressed my frustration to the clerk and all she could say was "sorry". Really?? After I'd wasted time and gas on a hot day with a car full of small children, they could have at least offered to give me a free ticket. But, no, they made me pull out my ID and AAA card again just to prove I was really an AAA member? They need retraining in Customer Service. read more
