Communication and project management were inconsistent throughout the job, which required far more homeowner oversight and repeated follow-up than we expected just to keep work moving. Several workmanship and finish-quality issues arose during the project, including items that remained unresolved near the end. A walkthrough was conducted, the full balance ($50,835) was paid, and the county completed the final inspection and issued the Certificate of Occupancy. Despite this, remaining finish items were not completed and follow-up stopped. Closeout communication also became unnecessarily confrontational despite our consistent good-faith efforts to resolve issues and bring the project to a proper conclusion. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company.

Amazing contractor experiences can happen in Cumming, Georgia!…read moreOur family is new to the south coming from the northeast, and we've had a series of bad experiences with contractors not answering phones, not getting estimates out to us, leaving the jobs early randomly. It was frustrating. But this was a refreshing experience! They picked up the phone almost instantly and the person I talked to knew all about crawlspaces and mold and the encapsulation process. They were able to schedule us for a next day appointment and then their inspector called us later that day to confirm what was going on and that the time worked for us. Professional! At the inspection, a lot of time was spent educating us on the dangers of moisture in the crawlspace and how mold grows down there and eventually gets into our living space which is not so cool for our kiddos! I also learned more about how water moves and air circulates in a home than I ever thought there was to it, but I feel knowledgeable now. Our project included an encapsulation, dehumidification, controlling the water intrusion, and we opted to fog the mold with a safe hydrogen peroxide solution. All that for under $20,000. We of course had our space encapsulated and I'm thoroughly impressed with the crews attention to detail. It speaks volumes to me that their project manager Nate asked me to do a "crawl through" to verify their work instead of assuming nobody ever goes down there and feeling free to do sloppy work. Not so! These guys are excellent, each corner and seam tape and sight lines of their vapor barriers were meticulously in order. They showed me how to check on the dehumidifier and sump pump. I had a great experience and wanted to encourage this so if others in the Cumming area are feeling my frustration, know that you'll be in good hands!

A year and a half later I called John to repair leaks in my roof.
