NEVER take your car to this place. My wife set up an appointment with the manager. I was to drop the car on Monday evening using the drop box. The envelope had a place to write the problems. I filled the problem as descriptive as possible using the 4 line provided. The DSide Front tire was losing pressure, when braking there was a vibration and pull to the left and shaking started at 40 mph and lowed to vibrations over 55. They never called, changed the rotors and pads on all 4 wheels. I asked about the vibration and they said there was none. I asked they check again. They said yes and it was due to a damaged engine mount. They replaced but never fixed the shaking, fixed what they wanted and charge over $1400. DO NOT take your car there. read more

Today Sept. 5, 2025, I went to the AAA TIRE and AUTO service at 8381 Old Troy Pike in HUBER HEIGHTS Ohio for an oil change. I've been getting my oil changed there for the past several years and I've never paid more than $50 for an oil change. I own a "2011" Ford Edge with less than 80,000 miles. I dealt with Zach. As usual, I signed what paper I thought was giving them permission to do the oil change? They've never added the charges up prior to signing for their service in the past. When I went to check out, I was presented with a bill for $87.86 and that was with my five dollar triple AAA discount Otherwise it would have been $92.86 when I looked at the charge, I was in shock! When I asked Zach about the price, he said well you signed for it. Yes I did sign for it, but I wasn't paying attention to the total amount that they were charging me, only the work order because they didn't used to put that on the invoice until you checked out. When I questioned Zach, he said it was because AAA is now only using synthetic oil and the price has gone up really high. I do realize that everything has gone up in price, but I should not have been charged twice the amount that I normally am charged at this service center! I feel like I was ripped off and I'm very very angry about it now! We had a poor customer experience with Assistant Manager AJ Sunderland. We've been coming to this location for a few years now for my F150 after miserable experiences with other locations providing false information to upsell services or just outright damaging our vehicles. Heres our experience bringing a Honda in for an oil change - Service was completed on Monday and we picked it up to go on about our week. On Wednesday it was noticed that oil had leaked out onto my in-laws driveway and we found leakage on our garage floor when the SUV was brought home. After taking pictures of the leak and undercarriage where it was clear oil was present my wife called AAA to bring the vehicle back in so that it could be checked Thursday for whether there was a missing gasket on the drain plug, problem with the oil filter or residual oil that was not cleaned up fully after the oil change. It was ultimately discovered that oil filter was defective so that was replaced and my wife went about her day thinking everything was corrected. No customer service concerns at this point as a defective part is what it is. Fix it and we move on. Now hyperaware to the prior leak from the oil filter my wife noticed more oil on the ground a few hours later in the garage which we chocked up to probably being residual because of multiple oil changes in a few days. My wife climbed under the SUV to look at where the oil might be coming from and noticed that there was now a missing plug/grommet from the plastic covers under the vehicle that had been there just hours prior. She went back to AAA for a 2nd time on Thursday to try and have them find the piece that had gone missing between fixing the oil filter, degreasing the subframe and releasing the vehicle to drive back to our home. It was not located so a replacement was put in place and my wife was taken out to the service bay to show her the replacement grommet and explain the residual oil. Up to this point, there had been no problems with customer service but the experience went downhill from here. After wrapping up the 2nd visit to AAA in the same day my wife requested documentation for what was done to add to our vehicle records. AJ typed out several notes explaining what was done during the final visit for the Honda and handed the paperwork to my wife with a "you're all set". Now up to this point for both visits on Thursday there was nothing said by AAA personnel to suggest being apologetic to the inconvenience of having to bring the vehicle back multiple times. Being in the customer service industry my wife paused to see if AJ would take the hint by asking "is there anything else?" to which he responded "nope you're good to go". Upset that her time was obviously not being considered she stated her concern over the lack of professionalism in the situation and left. On Saturday of the same week I took my F150 in to get the free part of the oil change promotion. While picking up my vehicle I noticed that AJ was sitting at his desk on the phone so I waited for him to conclude his conversation. I introduced myself and indicated that I was aware that he had assisted my wife with the Honda earlier in the week. Before I could finish speaking he began talking about how they had found a defective oil filter. I indicated that I was aware and that my wife had become upset due to having to come back a 2nd time on the same day and not receiving any acknowledgement being apologetic to the inconvenience of her time. He proceeded to be what I believe was very condescending stating that my wife had come in visibly upset and made the statement that once someone is in that state its hard for them to come out of it. That was followed up by him lying to me in person that he had been apologetic about the issue with the oil filter initially when I knew that to not be the case. The final straw was when he stated that he apologized for his apology not being up to my wife's standard. At that point I could see that the conversation could no longer be productive and opted to leave the facility. We won't be back. read more

I had a coupon for the $64.99 winterization package which went smoothly. My car needed for synthetic oil which costed a bit more but Caleb was fully transparent as to why and didn't try to sell me on anything. He also told me some stuff that would need to be looked at in the future, and did not pressure me into making an appointment to get it looked at. They also went the extra mile with the package and did a full inspection of my car to make sure everything was in order for the season ahead. Good service all in all. read more

My car caught fire and they had it for 27 days, never fixing a thing on it. Then they told me I had to have it towed to a Chevy Dealer but before they would let it go, I had to pay them $1351.46. Once the insurance company saw the bill, they called AAA Tire and Auto who then said they didn't fix anything. Now I am struggling to get my money back so I can pay the people who did actually fix my car. I DO NOT recommend you use them for anything. read more

My husband and I have been AAA premier members for over 29 years. I have only had two flat tires in my life one in about 2006 when we drove to Florida (that AAA driver was kind and very professional) and the AAA technician who came to my home to change my tire on 6-15-21. That AAA Technician was also prompt, courteous, and he gave me precautions about driving on the spare for more than three days. I immediately took the tire to the AAA service center on SR 202 in Huber Heights, Ohio for repair. BIG MISTAKE!!!! The service representative told me the tire would be fixed by the next day (6-16-21) , but he couldn't give me an approximate time. At 9:00 am on 6-16-21, I received a call from the service representative who told me the tire was fixed and then TOLD me I needed to come in at 3:00 pm to have the tire installed. I explained I had an appointment at 1:00 pm, but if the appointment wasn't over by 2:00 pm I would call him to make other arrangements. The service representative (sounding annoyed) reminded me that he was calling me at 9:00 am but, the appointment wasn't until 3:00 pm. After my 10:00 am appointment, I called the service representative to get a later time because I didn't think I would be available exactly at 3:00 pm and asked if he had a later time. That question sent the guy into what I'll call a "tailspin" resulting in my telling him (several times) to stop yelling at me! He even remarked that he was yelling because it didn't appear I was "hearing" him. I informed him my hearing was fine and reminded him that the flat tire was unexpected, but I still had obligations scheduled for that day. I asked him when he had the next appointment time and he told me not until the following week. When I told him it appeared I'd chosen the wrong service center because of their rigid scheduling and poor customer service; he said I could come in on 6-17-21 at 2:00 pm and then he told me that appointment was "his attempt at accommodating me" (As if I was doing him a favor)! On 6-17-21, at 1:50 pm I arrived at the service center and spoke to another service representative. I explained that I had a 2:00 pm appointment and then that person asked me my name (he repeated my last name), but he asked me my name several more times. He asked me my address several times, he asked me what kind of car I was driving, and then asked me my name again! By this time I'm frustrated and the service representative asked me, "Is there a problem"? I told him, "Yes, I just wanted my tire installed so I could leave"! He asked for my car fob and told me to have a seat. It took almost 1/2 an hour and $37 (with my AAA discount)lm later before I could escape! My husband and I have used AAA services in the past and AAA has never disappointed me until now. read more

The atmosphere is really nice, the shop employees are very courteous and helpful. However, I have been experiencing an oil leak from my car's oil filter housing. This housing has an o-ring that should be lubed and replaced with each oil change. The leak had been persisting through multiple oil changes unbeknownst to me, and when I finally discovered it after a "low oil level" warning, I called the shop immediately. They invited me to stop by to receive a new o-ring and for them to degrease the engine bay of the oil leak. Through my many visits to this shop, the technician did not once explain to me that my car was leaking, did not say anything about the repeatedly oil-soaked housing area and just let me leave each time like my car was totally fine. The leak is going directly down onto my alternator and will eventually destroy its functionality and is also getting onto my serpentine belt and spraying all over the engine bay! Their "degrease" service was more like the tech dumping chemicals onto the area and hosing it off for about 5 minutes without scrubbing or actually removing any oil at all. Gotta say, I really want to like this place but between the horrible quality oil and filters they use and the absolutely uninspired technicians, I don't think I will bring this vehicle back. Bottom line, don't expect this shop to go above and beyond for the customer. I have received more caring technician service from a Wal-Mart autolube drive through. But I will just stick with my independent mechanic. read more

Had them assess my car due to battery light coming on. Overpriced and rude. They charged me for a new battery. I asked to have my original battery back and they did not return my original battery. I can tell it's not the battery that was in my car because I replaced the battery with a Walmart battery maybe 2yrs ago. The battery they apparently pulled out of my car is a factory battery. What's worse than bad service at would be no service. German standing at the service counter did not even acknowledge my presence as he laughed and joked with someone who was obviously another employee of AAA. It's quite apparent that his jovial phone session was more important than taking care of customers. Generally, I don't complain but this isn't the first time at this location and with this individual. AAA you can do better. I hope you read the reviews and look into this matter. read more

The shop is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The staff is polite and professional. However, their prices are too high (probably set by the corporate headquarters). They may not be as expensive as the dealer's auto repair shop, however they are definitely not the least expensive. I've visited them a couple of times. Once for a tire issue and another time for for an alternator issue. For an alternator replacement on my 2011 Corolla, I was quoted $559 (with tax). When I balked at the price, I was told that I could receive the AAA member discount, making the total $500. When I told them that I could purchase a remanufactured alternator for this vehicle for $150 - $200, they proceeded to give me the breakdown ($300 for the part and $200 for labor and their $300 part is still a remanufactured alternator). I would love to make this place my preferred repair shop, but not at these prices. On the plus side, they confirmed that the problem was the alternator. They inspected the belt, charged my battery, and didn't charge me a fee. Needless to say, I stopped by Pep Boys on the way home for a $150 remanufactured alternator (plus $54 refundable core charge) and I replaced the alternator myself that evening in under 60 minutes. read more

I had AAA tow my car to the AAA Repair shop in Huber Heights. I was told by my son and my boyfriend that the starter needed to be replaced. The whole process was painless. This was the 1st time I ever used the AAA tow service. I called for the tow and was told the driver would be at my car location within a hour. A few minutes after I received a automated call stating the driver will arrive at my car location in 23 minutes. A few minutes after that the driver called me and said he would be there in 15-20 minutes. I drove to my car location and the driver showed up at time stated. By the time he arrived, put the car on the flatbed, drove to AAA Repair Shop and took car off the flatbed was no more then 30 minutes. I was really impressed. While the driver was taking the car off the flatbed, I went in to handle the paperwork. The lady at the desk and Jason, the gentleman that helped me were very nice. I received a call from Jason a few hours later telling me the starter needed to be replaced and the cost would be about $400. I told him to go ahead and do the work and asked what day he thought my car might be ready next week. He said it would be ready in about a hour. I was pleasantly surprised! Jason called me when my car was done and told me the cost was $350 ($375 minus $25 off coupon my AAA tow driver gave him for me). I was extremely pleased to say the least! I definitely recommend both services, AAA Repair shop and tow services. Thank you AAA for your awesome customer service and honestly! read more
