They failed to tell me that they were replacing the screen with an aftermarket, non-Apple screen. They didn't explain that there was an option, any difference between the 2 products, what an official screen would cost - nothing. I got home and immediately noticed the colors looked off and did the research to understand what they had sold me. When I called they essentially said they "figured I'd want the cheaper option." It's clearly an inferior screen with noticeably worse lighting, everything is super bright and cool. To make matters worse, I then learned the Apple Store offers the screen replacement with an official screen for the same price they charged me for the 3rd party screen. I guess shame on me for not doing the research in advance, but maybe don't assume everyone knows what the hell an aftermarket screen is. Their response was essentially "sorry", and their corporate support was a notch above useless. Buyer beware.

Had I been informed of that limitation I would have utilized an alternative servicer - without ill will toward your company. After picking up my 3DS from your establishment I brought It to Wisp who informed me that a board was bad, the battery was swollen - so should be changed and something else, that I don't recall, so it would not be worth repairing. Although they could repair it if I chose to have it done, they refused to charge me anything at pick up because "they didn't do a repair". In their case they actually deserved a fee so I feel a bit guilty not paying them a troubleshooting fee. Effectively CPR got the fee Wisp deserved. Furthermore you counter person seemed very, very much like they didn't repair portable consoles, or at least what I brought in. I will not be recommending your services to anyone because of the non disclosure and lack of offer for a refund when I voiced the discrepancy to your employee.

Wireless Tech sent me a quote, which happened to be the lowest in the area, and they were open Sunday. The repair cost exactly what we were quoted, and it was done in a very timely manner (same day, on a Sunday!).
