We booked the back roads tour which lasted 2 hours, with a stop at a candle shop owned and operated by an Amish family. Also a stop at an Amish home which you are quickly ushered through (but get to see how they live) to the quilting area where you can purchase quilts, etc. The quilts are made right in the home, and while very expensive this family does take layaway. We passed buggies on our journey as we drove along the back roads. We learned a lot about the Ohio Amish, which are apparently different from other Amish communities I have visited in the past. If you are in the area, book the tour. It is well worth your time and you will learn quite a bit.

I went on a trip to France that was booked through Travel Connections. Our group was there for 12…read moredays and half the group never got their luggage. They were told that the airline would give them 50 pounds a day to purchase clothes and toiletries. Items were purchased and receipts were turned in to Travel Connections because the airline tickets were booked through them. Now it is 6 months later and we never received a dime back from this travel agency. I would absolutely not use Travel Connections to book a trip!
