Sweet but not overly so, fluffy, flavorful, and the combo also came with an egg and I chose two slices of bacon. All delicious and certainly plenty filling. The menu here is not expansive but it offers a very nice selection of tantalizing dishes. We opted for the fried chicken tacos. Being old timers with small appetites we customarily share an entree, but when I learned that an order consists of two, not the customary three tacos, I ordered a plate for each of us. Big mistake! Hahaha. These tacos are humongous! I'm afraid I totally failed to fulfill my duties as a responsible Yelper and take a photo of the presented plate. A taco masterpiece. The tortilla appears to be house-made. The large pieces of chicken breast, perfectly seasoned and breaded; and crisply fried rest on a bed of some of the tastiest cole slaw ever. The fried chicken is then topped with a couple sauces that sing with the chicken and finished with house made hot honey. This taco is worth the drive to Hico from FTW for lunch.
