When I brought this to their attention, their response was dismissive and unprofessional--essentially telling me "tough luck," with no attempt to stand by their work. They also performed services I never explicitly authorized, and only informed me of a $60 increase in the cooling fan price after the work had begun--leaving me with no meaningful opportunity to make an informed decision. What's worse, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being taken advantage of as a woman. The way I was spoken to, disregarded, and overcharged raised red flags that I believe many women will unfortunately recognize. It was condescending and exploitative.
