Mike and his team issued a quote, answered all of my questions, and scheduled a date. They arrived early in the morning and completely re-roofed my home by sundown. Small issue with chase pan seal being corrupt. Mike came out to assess issue. Advised appeared that seal had been breaking down so he advised that he could take care of it and check out for any other issues. I returned from my two week Honeymoon to find that a tree branch had fallen through my roof and punched a hole in the shingle. The hole allowed massive amounts of water inside the roof during a recent storm, which collected inside the ceiling and then broke through that, dumping drywall and wet insulation into my garage. If you have a roof with lots of angles like my California contemporary style home from the early 70's then AAG is the roofing company you want for the job. Mike is a true salt of the earther, eagerly proactive, positive, and earnest guy who got our business because he's honest. He even did a spot repair on part of our roof that was leaking without charging us a dime while we waited on the weather to improve to get the rest of the job done. His bid was solid and fair and he even came in under his original estimate after the satellite-based roof measurements came in. His crew was lightening fast, had the old roof off in record time and the new one done all in one day. Other roofers that looked at this house were apparently boggled (one guy was "freaked out" to put it mildly, lol) on how to install a roof over an open cedar beam and T&G ceiling, yet Mike took the challenge in stride and knew exactly how to approach it. Mikes attention to detail is absolutely meticulous and we now also have increased R value in that area over the Great Room in this house. Mike went out of his way to answer all of my questions, kept me updated on progress, and sought me out immediately when he had questions. When they were done they cleaned up the worksite thoroughly and went over the area with a magnet to gather any stray nails. There were a few small details with the flashing that they fixed for me, hassle free. Working with Mike was an exceptionally pleasant and thoroughly efficient experience. When it rained hard I had a problem with water gushing down outside the middle window of my 3 window sun room. Mike was able to inspect the roof and gutter and found a leak behind the gutter. He found a "poorly installed gutter and drip edge. Shingles were not installed with proper overhang and the drip was flattened which was causing water to enter behind the gutter". He knew what he was doing, and his price was in the same range as another estimate. His receipt noted the exact problem with the fix with pictures. After paying him, he saw a water problem on my front porch ceiling and climbed up on the roof again and found an exposed nail and fixed it...for no extra money. We have a 3 year old home with "what should have been" a perfect metal roof. After a torrential rain, we had water penetration in our home. I called AAG Enterprises that next morning, and Mike was able to come out that very afternoon. Gave me a quick estimate, then upon getting up there to start, came to realize that there was an actual design flaw in the construction. We discussed the option of "fix it now" as is, or reconfigure it and "fix it forever". At the nominal extra cost, which represented several extra hours of his work, he reconfigured an area of the roof that trapped tree debris and was the source of the water. He even had to do a small amount of siding to the house, and painted the siding to match. It was fixed within 24 hours of his first arrive, and I could not be happier with the excellent quality workmanship, the prompt response, and the reasonable cost. 100% recommend! read more
