I obtained a few estimates from different contractors, and they were not the cheapest, but they were reasonably priced with far better reviews than the cheaper option, which is another reason I chose them. Thomas is highly responsive to communication, which again is quite unusual with most contractors in my experience, so that was a nice plus too. They provided evidence of insurance upon request. We paid a 50% deposit to get on the schedule and I was able to pay that by credit card without an extra fee, which was appreciated since it allowed me to get reward points on the purchase. A crew of three guys came out to the house early in the morning and completed the job just before dark. They did a phenomenal job. Each step was documented with pictures to show where rotten decking needed to be replaced, and an explanation of everything. Despite already being reasonably priced, Thomas gave us a nice discount for the extra decking on the final invoice, which was a happy surprised and very much appreciated. They also cleaned up very well after themselves. If you need a new roof or any kind of roof work, Tom and Jerry Roofing is the best there is without a doubt!

Nothing worse then getting a new roof and then having to paint the house. Darius made sure we got one that matched the house. They bought out a dumpster on the day they said they would and the work was done in one day and they arrived and completed on the day they said they would. As a landlord and having dealt with a lot of contractors I was pleasantly surprised to see that they cleaned up all the debris from when they removed the old roof material. I got a 10-year warranty on the materials as well as a 10 year warranty on the repair. They are a bit higher, not much, than other places, but considering how easy it was to work with them and what you get for the money in the long run it's well worth it. We first used Georgia In Home Services about 10 years ago after a hurricane damaged our roofing…read moreshingles.  Danny came out that day, provided the estimate and worked with our USAA Insurance adjustor...the result was a completely new roof installed within 48 hours.  Wow - talk about service!  We contacted GIHS once again to solve some interior floor squeaks that have persisted for many years in an upstairs bedroom - even after repair attempts from multiple "professionals".  Once again Danny came out with his carpenter to evaluate the issue and within 24 hours and put his carpenter to work.  One hour later...no more squeaks.  WOW!  We then asked about replacing our back deck.  The 11' x 52' "landing strip" developed a great deal of board warpage due to a shoddy install.  It took about a week to completely tear down the deck and install a new one; the new deck included stairs with a mid-point landing since the deck is 9' above the ground and now even has a security gate at the top.  The project would have gone faster but mother nature decided to provide nonstop rain for 3 days right in the middle of the build.  The end result: an impressive and beautiful deck.  Thanks Danny!!!! 10 Stars

I read the reviews and really wanted to give them my business because by all accounts they are a very competent firm. The person I was assigned to (Samantha) doesn't answer messages and doesn't return my calls. I was promised last time I called in that the owner would call me back on Monday morning with an update. It is now Thursday and I have all but given up. I'm ok with companies telling me if the project is not for them; I'm just really disappointed that they never paid me the courtesy of giving me an update either way because I have now wasted 45 days waiting for a quote when I could have been getting on with fixing my house. This is not how you run good customer service and not how you run a good business.
