I have heard raving reviews about Aahaar from many of my friends and colleagues. It was a long due for us to try this place. Finally it happened when we went to the Snoqualmie falls with the extended family. We stopped by for lunch on a sunny day. There were street side parking but we parked behind the restaurant which was more convenient. This place was moderately busy by the time we walked in. Received by some smiling faces. They combined couple of tables to accommodate all of us. I have been told that this place offers authentic Kerala food. But the menu said a different story. There are a few Kerala dishes, but majority are South Indian food. We ordered Tikka Wings as appetizer. Ordered Bisibelebath, Chicken Biriyani, Parotta and Cashew Chicken curry. Staffs were very friendly and engaging. Average wait time for the food was around 10 minutes. Really liked the Tikka Wings - the sauce on that wings stood out. Very flavorful and a little spicy. Bisibelebath was quite Ok. Expected the Kerala flavor but the Chicken Biriyani really lacked it. Cashew Chicken curry was delicious. Good combination with Parotta. Served white rice also on the side. Ordered Mango Lassi and Gulab Jamun for dessert. Both were really good. Mixed opinion about the food. Definitely not the Kerala food. Great reviews I heard in the past contributed to the disappointment. Having said that, nothing was terrible. Still a decent option!

Aahaar is a family favorite place! I have gone with my family many times and our fav dish by far is the Kerala Fried Fish. It is so amazing tasty and addictive. Perfect place to dine in on a Sunday. Service is always kind and welcoming. Their seating inside I feel can fill up fast during busy dining hours.

Its an amazing restaurant and never disappoints. They serve complimentary rasam which is my favourite dish at the restaurant. Apart from this I love the kara kara masala dosa and egg curry! They also have some amazing starters that I recommend trying. Ambiance wise its a small sitting space that usually is crowded, and the servers would keep clearing your table of the extra utensils on the table. Overall recommend trying it!

The food was wonderful. They gave us a small cup of complimentary rasam. I had the vegetarian samosa and Chicken Tikka Masala. The dishes had plenty of spices. I can't give it a five stars though because The music was odd. They played loud chanting music which gave an eerie vibe. I couldn't understand it, but my gut tells me that it was religious which dampened my mood since that chanting is not my religion. They also charged me for two plates instead of one. So, carefully review your receipt before you pay.

The interiors resemble a small eatery with tables on either sides. But, don't go by size as the flavors will transport back to the streets of southern India. The Sambar to the freshness of the chutney to the sweetness of the badam halwa were amazing. The service was fast as well. I have been there multiple times, but after my recent visit, the quality has gone a tad bit down. Hoping they bounce back soon.

If you are craving for indian food and in and around snoqualmie area, this is the place to go. The food is good. Service can be better and the ambiance is pretty good. It has predominantly south indian dishes.

It was decent curry. The day we stopped by it was very packed with customers of all ages. This place is hopping. The service was good. The curry was like other curry shops. If you feel like curry and are in the area, give it a try.

Nice restaurant tucked in the Snoqualmie town. Great mix of South Indian cuisine with some other good curries. We ordered karra dosa, cheese masala dosa, aahar rolls and chicken chetinaad, which were all great. Somehow seemed like staff was in a hurry to empty the tables, which was a little uncomfortable but understandable to an extent. They do get very busy, so plan ahead of time! Definitely recommend.

Amazing food. Totally authentic South Indian food. The best dish is Kara Dosa. It's soooo delicious and the best dosa I've ever had in US.

But 1 of them ABSOLUTELY SHOULD NOT BE A WAITER OR SERVICE PERSON. He never looked us in the eye - ever. He threw the plates and take out boxes at us. If we never come back, he will be the reason. He needs a different job. Not built for this. He seemed VERY VERY UNHAPPY. EDIT: I see some previous reviews talking about poor service. People can disagree on food quality, but poor service is universal. You need to fix this or go out of business. Put a smile on your face, be polite, act interested in the job and your customers. Or suffer the consequences of losing business due to poor service reviews. Just think how much more business you'd get IF you served your customers correctly. RECOMMEND: Aahaar. Always polite. Always seem happy. Don't eat an average or even great meal at India Belly with rude staff if you can drive a few miles to Aahaar and get greeted with smiles and politeness the whole meal.

I was in town to run the Iron Horse Half Marathon that weekend and wanted a solid meal after the flight. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, which came with basmati rice, and after a few moments of thought, added the garlic naan. For the price, both the quality and quantity of the food were excellent. The chicken tikka masala was really flavorful, buttery, and delicious. I asked for the highest spice level, and while it wasn't overwhelmingly spicy, it had a good amount of heat. Paired with the garlic naan, it was sublime. I hadn't eaten breakfast that day, and the meal filled me up enough that I didn't even end up having dinner. The guy there was also nice enough to throw in a mango lassi after I promised to do him a favor. The lassi wasn't my favorite, but I still appreciated the gesture. One other thing I really liked was the serving ware. They seemed to use bamboo, wood, or similar materials for most things rather than a bunch of disposable plastic. As someone who tries to limit unnecessary plastic use, I appreciated that. Aside from the bottled water, it felt like they put some thought into both the food and the customer experience. All in all, a great Indian spot with tasty food, generous portions, and friendly service. I'd definitely come back if I'm in Maple Valley or the Seattle area again. 4/5 stars Last visited: August 28, 2026

Again, excellent flavor and we loved the sauces served with it. The raita was just right. The garlic naan was fresh and hot. For dessert, we ordered the mango lassi, chai tea, and shared the rasmalai dessert. All excellent quality with perfect texture, temperature, snd sweetness. We were very impressed. The only reason I gave only four stars instead of an enthusiastic five, is because when we entered we were excited to sit down in the beautiful dining room to enjoy our first meal there. Instead we just kept going and were led further and further back until we reached the sports bar area and were seated with no one else around for the whole meal. There was seating available in the main dining room. It felt very isolated and detracted from our overall experience. We'll be back but next time we'll request to be seated with the general population. That aside, I highly recommend!

We have since moved out of the area, so this trip was the first time we have dined here in over 4 years. A lot can change in four years. Thankfully the food at Naan n Curry wasn't one of them. The food was every bit as good as we remembered. So good. What has changed is the restaurant. The renovations are complete, the restaurant is beautiful inside. The staff some old (tenure) and some new, still provide the same family focused care with serving their customers. My wife's favorite dish is the Butter Chicken, or on the menu as Chicken Tikka Masala. A creamy tomato and fenugreek sauce served with either white or dark meat chicken. My wife preferred the dark meat, while our friend preferred the white. To each their own. The dish is served with rice but to be honest my favorite way to enjoy the flavors is by dipping a piece of Naan into the sauce. OMG it is SO good. My favorite dish is the Dumm Biryani. I prefer the Chicken while my friend ordered the Lamb. On this occasion, I thought the spices were a little on the light side as I think of an authentic Biryani as having a strong robust sense of flavor. Today the dish was "good" but lacked some of that intoxicating aromatic sensation. We also ordered the Saag Paneer, or on the menu as Palek Paneer. Another strong execution. Wonderful flavors, served with rice and Naan. Its always nice when a restaurant that you have such fond and strong memories of can still deliver even years after your last visit. Well done, Naan N Curry, well done.
