    Mango Lassi

The food is absolutely delicious! I ordered the lamb biryani and mango Lassi! They are to die for!

What a find! Amazing flavor. Great service. We will be back. There was not a single item that was not the best! The feel of this place is perfect for my family. We will be back, this was the first of many visits to come. The butter chicken, chicken Marsala, lamb curry, chicken tandoori all rank among favorites at the moment! We will come explore soon.

When we visited the Puyallup area, this highly rated Indian restaurant was our choice for lunch.Part of a medium size strip mall. We found a parking right in front of the restaurant too. The vibes when we walked in was perfect. Interiors gave the authentic Indian aura. Welcomed by the staff with a big smile and gave us a convenient seat. They gave was ample time to go over the menu before ordering. Variety of offerings to pick from. We ordered the Chicken Pakora for appetizer. Their Biryanis looked a great option - ordered chicken, lamb and shrimp. Also, Karahi vegetables and naans. They gave us options to customize the spice level which is normally not a great sign based on my past experiences. I was very skeptical about the food since that moment. Food arrived fast considering the number of items and the rush at this place. Loved the Chicken Pakora. Perfectly fried and delicious with the sauces served on the side. The Karahi vegetable was great with the Naan. I made a spice level of 4 for this - should have kept at 3. The Biryanis were fabulous. They all do have a similar look when served, but the flavors were different which was a delightful thing. And the portions were quite good. We definitely overestimated it. Bon appétit! Service was fantastic. The staffs we interacted that day were amazing! It was a great find for us. Perfect for our lunch plan. If you are in Puyallup area and jonesing for Indian food - this is the place! Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved the food..I've tried Indian food before and never liked it but the tofu coconut curry was amazing. Tried the mushroom curry also was so Devine. Will definitely be back.

The food was delicious. If you are into spice, definitely go higher than a 3- it was categorized as "mild", but really was not spicy at all. However, the dishes themselves were very rich in flavor even without the spice. We definitely gave it an extra star just for the customer service alone!! You can tell the staff truly wants you to have a good experience and in providing a welcoming service. Definitely keeping this as one of our go-to's for indian food!

Good service and food is amazing and smells delicious definitely my new Indian cuisine spot.

With the crisp fall air, I was craving some spice to warm my belly and my soul. We were in Puyallup today, so I decided to use Yelp to find that perfect spot. I did! Tandoori Grill is fantastic. The flavors are authentic, the ambiance and service were great and I highly recommend Tandoori for some high quality Indian food and generous portions. My belly and my soul are now warm and happy. If your travels take you to Puyallup please give Tandoori a try!

Wow what a little gem. I do love Indian food and this place really was a nice surprise. The staff was very friendly. The food was awesome I usually use get vindaloo and theirs has a lot of depths of layers in flavor not just a spicy red curry like some places, we had the goat and it was so tender. Dal makhani is another favorite of mine there's was very tasty even with the choice of asking for a 10 heat. The waitress tried to warn me from doing that but I do like super spicy dishes that taste good and they didn't fail there. Our other dishes were ordered at the 5-7 heat level and they were very good for us. They do have a few beers that I have not seen before I had a saffron lager that was interesting. This is now on the top of my list as far as Indian food in the area.

The butter chick was delicious! The owner and waitress was so nice and helped us with the menu. It was clean and the food was quick. They were accommodating for our toddler, which we ordered French fries for. We will absolutely be returning.

I'm a middle eastern food fan. The flavors are so different from others. I typically go to Karma for my fill, here in Puyallup, that is, until my hubby said Let's try Tandoori Grill. I kinda felt like I was cheating on my go-to, Karma. Still love Karma but Maaaaaaaan, this place though!! So location is by Sally's area on Meridian. Decent parking and pretty nice and spacious seating inside. Staff are super nice and hospitable. Okay, let's reminisce on the food. The pakoras were all good and well seasoned. The chicken Korma is my FAVORITE. It used to be Makhani but lawd have mercy, korma was Delicioso!! The biriyani was so good. Not too wet, not to dry, larger chunks of meat. That sauce with it. Mmmmm!! Yessir. The naan with the korma sauce. Then of course the mango lassi. I'm a fan!! We ended up packing up lots of leftovers and KILLIN it the next day. Best leftovers. Funny thing is, we went right back the next day to order more. Yeah, that good FOR REAL. We've gone back a few more times and left very happy with "puppy bellies". lol. You know that tight belly!! Good eats here in Puyallup. Stop by and get your puppy belly on!!

I couldn't remember the name of the place, but we found it: The Fish Peddler! We must have arrived at a perfect interval because there was a table for two that had just been bussed and ready for us near the large counter in the back where food was collected by servers and presented to hungry patrons at any of the 30-40 tables. Our server was genuinely warm and delightful and guided us to the menu and the on-line beer on tap information. Drinks were ordered and delivered in minutes - just enough time for us to announce our selections: A 3-piece halibut and chips for her, and for me, the albacore tuna with spring greens and gouda cheese on sourdough with a pint of I'm Not Afraid Of Music. It had the lowest alcohol content, and since I was driving, didn't want to push my luck. When our huge white dinner plates arrived - oh - did I mention the amazing jalapeño coleslaw? - we were amazed at the size of the perfectly deep fried halibut - which, on their own, provide a good bite, making only a smitten of tartar sauce necessary because you gotta have tartar sauce with fried fish, after all, right? I picked up one my sandwich haves and removed the toothpick with too much gusto and suffered a small splinter that I couldn't remove until I got home a couple of hours later with the help of a magnifying glass, a tweezer and some masking tape. But I ignored the splinter while I enjoyed my "this is NOT your mom's - or HER mom's - Tuna melt". The perfect balance of the albacore spread with the gouda showing up gloriously in almost every bite, the pillowy and cool greens and tomato slice that balanced the heat from the albacore between the two lightly toasted sourdough was my Valentine's Day gift to my mouth. We were stuffed, but not defeated - we ordered our cheesecake to go, and I get to have the last piece of halibut for a snack later on! It was great getting re-acquainted with This cozy, fun, busy restaurant since our last (and first) visit 3 years ago. My only regret is that for some unknown but surely inexcusable reason, I had waited three years before returning. Won't happen again.

This is a casual place, but the food is quality. We got the fish and chips, which were perfectly crispy. The black cod miso was superb. Very fresh and light and flaky and flavorful. We also got the lobster roll. It definitely rivals a lobster roll from the east coast. The service was great. They took care of everything well. This isn't fancy, but it's just a good seafood place for friends, business or families.

We joined the online waitlist at 1:00 PM on a Sunday. While we were seated fairly quickly, we still had to wait in a long line just to speak with the host to check in. The restaurant was completely packed well past 2:00 PM. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill once we sat down. It took forever just to place our order. Our chowder arrived about 10 minutes later, but it tasted like it came straight out of a can, and the accompanying dinner roll was completely flavorless and factory-made. Since we were hungry, we ate it quickly anyway. It took 45 minutes for our entrees--a Country Fried Steak and a California Benedict--to arrive. By 3:00 PM, we were famished, which made it all the more disappointing to discover our food was cold, soggy, and hard. The cubed fries, scrambled eggs, and English muffin tasted like they had been sitting on a counter for 20 minutes before being brought to our table. For a restaurant advertising a "farm-to-table" concept, the eggs, salad, croutons, and muffin felt entirely mass-produced. The service was equally disappointing; our server never returned to refill our water. While the atmosphere is nice and the space is large enough to fit over 100 people, they seemed severely understaffed. The host stand was backed up, it took too long to order, and the kitchen was clearly overwhelmed. For $23 a plate, I expect significantly better quality in both the food and the service.

We were out celebrating my buddy's birthday today, and started out next door for some smokes and drinks. I had a plan for some choices for his bday dinner, and he opted with Ms. Jane's inside BJ's Casino. First off... this place is very elegant with a fine dining experience. Secondly, Cassandra was absolutely superb!! We all thoroughly had an amazing experience, from the drinks, appetizers, to our entrees, and the service. The Lavender Martini was top notch, and we also ordered the White Mojito. That mojito was crisp and refreshing! Two spectacular cocktails. As for our meals, undeniably unbelievable!! I ordered the 12oz. Ribeye, with Garlic Potatoes and crisp Broccolini. So crisp and a unique almost vinaigrette flavoring, with a subtle spice. As a side, we ordered the Thousand Layer Potato. We were the only people in the dining room for lunch the entire time until our last 10 mins. This restaurant is inside a casino in Fife. Parking is interesting, and the casino itself is in the middle of a reno so it looks a bit messy but otherwise it is fine. Kudos to them for trying to make the outside section nice because the view kind of kills it. Pros - it's a very nicely designed space. The hostess and our waitress were so nice and welcoming, even giving me a stool for my bag (and it wasn't even my fanciest bag lol!) Overall, the restaurant is nice, the food seems to be mostly fresh and good quality and service was nice. I actually quite enjoyed my ribeye, despite our broccolinni having no almonds, as stated on the menu. My affogato was good, and the cake frosting and flavors were good. Cons - I say these with love...but we both feel the kitchen was not up to par, or the main chef was off, or something happened because there were quite a few mishaps during our visit. The appetizers were good, but the scallops needed salt and I would not pair them with pineapple, personally. The calamari weren't the most tender, and the breading was interesting - it's definitely not your typical breading, it suited a fish and chips dish better. The sweet and spicy sauce served with it is from trader Joe's...I know because I've bought it before, so I don't believe it's house made. Like I previously stated, the broccolinni was missing the almonds, and the carrots on the side that I ordered for $13 were so embarrassing that the waitress came back after serving us and told us that she spoke to the manager and got those off our bill. That's how ridiculous they were, so thank you to her for having good values at work. While I liked my steak, it was very, very fatty, and my husband asked for medium rare and definitely got medium well. Lastly, the pink champagne cake was disappointing, not because it was yucky, but because the cake itself was clearly days old, and had been freshly frosted. It was tough, dry and stale, while the frosting was fresh and light. Overall, I can see coming back but I'm in no rush due to the price/location/overall food.
