This indian restaurant is a bit fancy than regular indian restaurant, so it makes sense that food is pricier. Most curry dishes with meat is between $25-$30 on the regular menu. Lunch special is a great deal, and the Thali is the best way to try a variety for dishes - you get dessert and a drink for $19.99, but portion is quite small. Service is very good at lunch.

This is my second time, first time going with my wife, my family is from Kerala! The food is AMAAAZING!! Drive this way and leave with a 'taste of india,' and wanting more! Food 10/10, Service 10/10 -- Cinu (owner) makes you feel so welcome, Ambiance -- seating very comfortable and room was playful yet romantic! Bring a big group or small group.

Oh my GOD this place is amazing. Like actually the best Indian food I've ever eaten (all Indian food places are good but you know what I mean) Everyone is always super super nice and we never have to wait too long! Whenever my mom wants to try something new, whoever is helping us takes her through the menu and is super patient. They should really be getting some more customers! It's sad that it's always empty whenever my family comes. The portions are well sized and I always feel like I need to roll out instead of walking. Very clean place!

We had an excellent date night here. On Wednesdays they have a Date Night Special for $60 with 3 courses with naan and coconut rice. We ordered the appetizer tacos and those ended up being our favorite food of the night. Rich buttery chicken, crunchy slaw and a light white tzatziki type sauce on a soft tortilla. You get 3 with your appetizer and I could have eaten all 3 by myself! I ordered the tikka masala because it's only available on the date night menu and my husband paid the $10 extra for a lamb dish. Both were stupendous. Rich, creamy and full of Indian spices. A cozy warm meal on a cold day. We even had leftovers the next day! The rice and naan were also delicious, we didn't leave a grain behind! The service couldn't get any better than what we had. Ridiculously friendly with a good family feel. We will definitely be back.

This place is amazing! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by their very kind staff. I was surprised by the amazing decor, which is very modern and clean. Although this place has been here, it does not have a lit up sign, which can make it hard to find when it is dark out. The food was absolutely delicious! For starters we ordered the kara mura chicken. It came out hot and crispy! The mint and tamarind dipping sauces it came with were so full of flavor. Their garlic naan was so fluffy. The main dishes were all terrific. We ordered chicken tikka masala, old monk drunk chicken, and butter chicken. Each dish was crafted with special spices and so delicious. So savory and big portions! They came with coconut rice. For dessert we had gulab jamoon, which was a perfect sweet ending to this meal. The owner, Ramya is such a friendly person. She made sure everything was great! My whole family loved their meal. We will definitely be frequenting this place for weeknight meals.

Masala Dosa - cold chutneys and masala

Ambience: Cozy upscale looking Indian restaurant Service: We dined there on day 3, staff was very courteous. Food: Plating was good. It's not authentic Indian flavors which was a disappointment. Masala Dosa: chutneys and masala was cold inside a leathery dosa/crepe. Karu Mura chicken: Chicken pakora, tasty and crunchy Fish Moilee: deconstructed moilee, didnt come close in close to the real deal. The fish had a light sweetness to it too. Beef rolls: Typical snack made at home with a fancy twist Tenderloin Coconut Payasam: overpowered by rose flavors, the tender coconut bits appear namesake. Good quantity but doesn't live up to the name. While the food was fresh, lack of authentic flavors is definitely a disappointment. I wish at least the dosas were better, something I looked forward to when the opening was announced.

Roaring Indian in Maple Valley is a hidden gem. The dishes are fresh & authentic. The staff is friendly and informative and the serving sizes are great for sharing.

1 of the 3 curry lamb chops confit. The peanut curry is so flavorful and chops cooked to perfection.

The word needs to get out about this hidden Diamond. This place is class meets Indian fusion comfort food. You can taste the care and creativity that goes into every dish. The ambience is romantic and swank (minus the commercials with the music playing). Great date night place. In fact we loved it so much last week we had to return this week to try new things. The staff is lovely and you can feel the care and pride they put in the food and service. If you have low tolerance to spice ask them ahead of time to put chili oil on the side or get a side of raita to cool your palette but they will also offer to make it right in the kitchen. So far we have loved the cauliflower tacos & caulifry with amazing house made chutneys. The drunk monk chicken was a stew of tender flavorful delights. The curry lamb chops confit is worth getting every time we come. The chicken tika masala was really good but comes spicy at no stars so ask ahead of time to dilute the base to less spicy. Chicken dumpling momo was like the best bistro made tomato soup with a kick and dumplings. Indian comfort food. The mango lassi was pleasant as you can taste it came from fresh mango not a purée. All in all this place deserves to be a success.

Chicken wing appetizer

Exceptional food, exceptional service. Great atmosphere. This is must eat Indian. Get the chicken taco appetizer. One of the best Indian dishes that I have ever ate. The chicken wings are also fantastic.

Thought we'd try the new restaurant, so glad we went. Roaring Indian is a wonderful restaurant, best Indian food I've had in a while. Lots of fresh takes, food selections that I haven't seen in other places. We started with garlic and plain naan, raita, a green chutney and an amazing sauce made from dates and cranberries. Delicious! Our entrees were butter chicken, deconstructed chicken masala, and Jhol Momo curry (a great version of chicken dumplings. All were inspired. We were definitely too full, but the desserts looked great too. The service and ambiance were excellent, and the prices were very reasonable.

This place was SO GOOD. We got a few different things to try and everything was amazing. We will 100% be back to try more. plus the owners were so sweet. Amazing customer service skills and quick service too!

What in the world?! OUTSTANDING! The staff were all gracious hosts, not just servers. The ambiance is lovely, between CLOTH napkins, table lamps, and upholstered chairs, we felt pampered. The menu options went beyond my knowledge of choices at Indian restaurants I've been to, which have been around 10. Each menu item has clear allergens indicator icons. We found one chicken dish that was dairy free, but ghee *may* be the reason for the dairy icon. We need to pursue that on our next visit. One more comment about the menu, it was two-sided & manageable, but that that may seem limited for some. The NA cocktails / drinks were also interesting & I'm looking forward to trying them all! What a gem! I'm excited to bring Seattle friends out here. It'll be worth the drive!

I always look forward to interacting with their wonderful, welcoming staff. The food has an authentic Kerala and Tamil Nadu ( Indian States )touch that sets it apart. Favorites: My son is a huge fan of their perfectly made idli, dosa, and vada. Their fried idlis are also incredibly tasty and a fun twist on the classic! The variety: They have an incredible selection of dosas on the regular menu, and the Aviyal dish here is very good and highly recommended. Special treats: Aside from the regular staples, I am a big fan of their thalis on special occasions--they are a must-try! Bonus tip: Its location makes it perfect to combine with a trip to Snoqualmie Falls for a fantastic day out! If you are looking for top-tier South Indian cuisine with great vibes, this is the spot. Highly recommended!

We came in for lunch and got the Fried Fish, Mutton Varuthakari, Parotta, Iddiyappam, Dahi Sev Poori, two desserts, and a Chicken Biryani to take home. Everything was delicious -- the curry was excellent, with flavorful mutton and plenty of spice. The fish was especially delicious: crispy, spicy, and juicy, and probably the star of the meal. The Sev Poori was fun too, and the Parotta and Iddiyappam were quite good as well. The desserts were lovely. The Chakka Pradhaman was great, with the jackfruit flavor present but not overpowering, and the gulab jamun was nice as well. The biryani was also amazing. It's a very wholesome biryani and it hits a particular spot for us Malayalis (the cashews and the small grain rice are a part of that), and will keep us coming back many more times. Everything was top notch, and you could sense an attention to detail that separates Aahaar from many other restaurants. This was reflected in the warm, friendly staff and in the high degree of quality across all of the dishes. Overall, a lovely experience. We recommend Aahaar highly!

I've been coming to this kitchen for the past few years now, and have followed them from the Kent/Covington location simply because they are the best. It truly is a treat for the whole family when we dine here. Again, I cannot stress enough, how great the food is, the service is outstanding, and whether you're taking out or dining in, you'll love the smell as soon as you open the door.

The owner (Ranjit Kaur) is a delight to talk to. Service was good. Prompt seating. Got the appetizer platter served with the tangy tamarind date chutney and spicy green (cilantro mint) sauce. The fritters, samosa and the kebabs were great. Loved the Punjabi samosa! The Peshawari Naan was just as I expected, sweet and perfectly warm. The Mixed Grill could have been better with a Tandoori sauce on the side. It was served with complimentary rice but there was no liquid to supplement the rice and the meat. Could have been marinated a bit longer. The variety of chicken, seafood, kebabs was great but was kind of dry and hard to eat. Something that the owner can certainly look at and improve. I would certainly love the try their other curries. Wouldn't hesitate to give them a try again and refresh my review. Note: They have a small convenience store inside the restaurant. This used to be Happy Express and am glad to see an Indian restaurant in its place.
