I worked for AALL care for about 12 years and I surely miss it! I think they are one of the best home cares out there!

Our son attended this school from 6 months old until he graduated pre-k. All the teachers there are amazing. He learned so much and he loved going. We were so sad when he graduated but alas, it is all part of growing up. Ms Tasha and Ms Nupur prepared him so well for kindergarten that he feels like it is too easy but it did make it an easier transition. Can't say enough good things about the school. Highly recommend!!

Our daughter genuinely loves going to school each day, which speaks volumes. The teachers are truly exceptional; caring, attentive, and deeply invested in each child. Every faculty and staff member knows my daughter by name and goes above and beyond to ensure we feel informed, supported, and connected. Communication is excellent through the school app, with frequent updates, photos, and videos that give us real insight into her day. The school community is warm, thoughtful, and incredibly welcoming. As someone who works in education, I can confidently say that the quality of care, communication, and intentionality at this school stands out. We are beyond grateful to have found such a strong, nurturing foundation for our daughter and highly recommend Montessori School of San Marcos to any family considering it.

Coming from out of town and having a change in our routine (with my schooling) were both so stressful, but I found Lj and Baby Steps Home Daycare and our son couldn't have been happier. He's 5 now and still talks so much about Lj. I asked for his help with this review and he said from Lj he learned patience, to be a good friend, and he loved riding the Dora bike. From my patent perspective and as an educator, it was the small details that set Lj apart. She understands this developmental stage. She supports kids in finding their voices as friends, she supports learning through play, and attends to the safety and well - being of the kids like they are her own. I can't write all of the ways that Lj was amazing, but in short, my son was loved all day while I was at school. She knew who he was, valued him, and supported his growth. We had such a wonderful experience. We visit San Diego once or twice a year and always have to make sure to go see Lj. This lasting relationship our son has with her is such a gift to us as parents. I was so nervous before that year in San Diego and will be forever grateful for the ways in which Lj made that year such a joy for my son.

We had…read moreexhausted many other resources when someone recommended that we try College Nannies & Tutors. We walked in without an appointment and rather late in the day, yet the person who met with us was very professional and genuinely wanted to help. The problem was our situation was quite unique. My goddaughter is in the Cal State system and could not pass her math exams. She has a math learning disability and despite so many other tutors and other types of help, she just couldn't get passed her match course and it was jeopardizing her status at the university. She had a final test coming up and if she passed, she would fulfill her math requirement at the university and be allowed to stay, but if not, she would be dis-enrolled from the university. Add to it, she only had ten days until the test. No pressure at all. Normally tutoring for this would occur over several weeks, even several months and we only had 10 days. I explained the situation to the person at the office and I really expected her to smile and say, sorry we can't help you. Instead, she did smile but told us she understood the critical nature and would do everything to help. She made a couple of calls and found us a tutor willing to help. To make it even more convenient, the tutor agreed to come to us and tutor my goddaughter at my home instead of making her go to their office. The price was absolutely reasonable when you go online and look at other tutoring services. Bailey was the tutor assigned and on the first day she showed up right on time. After the first session my goddaughter already felt more confident and felt Bailey's methods and way of explanation were helping her greatly. This went on for the ten days and Bailey even came by the morning of her exam just for a quick refresher and prep in case she had any last minute questions. The bottom line... my goddaughter passed her exam! If I haven't expressed the significance of this, it really needs to be emphasized. My goddaughter was in her second year of college but just couldn't get passed the math. It took awhile before they even figured out she had a math learning disability but despite using their own tutors and tutors from the university, she just couldn't get passed that class. She has been a perfect student minus the math and unfortunately this situation has been a great amount of stress for her for the past year wondering whether or not she would be able to continue at the university or not. Coupled with the fact that she only had days left to prepare for what was going to be the "make or break" test of her college career. We had tried many other people and methods all of which failed to get her passed this stumbling block. And it needs to be mentioned the people at this center, Allison Dery, Director of Services and Bailey, our tutor, need to be commended for their help in a very unusual circumstance. Again, when we went in I fully expected them to tell us they couldn't help in such a short amount of time but they went above and beyond to help. Not only that, but they made it more convenient by coming to our home and there was a lot of paperwork they just waived for expediency. They were extremely accommodating and it can't be emphasized enough. If your child is having problems, I cannot give a high enough recommendation for this place and their services. Truly professional!

The familiarity and structure was really reassuring as we were adjusting to a new life being a family of four. Keri and Sean's care and attention to detail is still amazing. She even helped to call out something subtle that she noticed about my son that led to him being diagnosed with a congenital disease, and that early diagnosis is helping him to be as healthy as he can possibly be. So, when we discovered Robbin's Nest Nursery, we were desperate for help. From the very first phone call to graduation day, Keri and Sean were warm, open to our many questions, and transparent about everything happening with our child. They were, in many ways, the closest thing to a baby owner's guide we could find. Additionally, Keri is a certified sleep coach. If you're dreaming of those long stretches of sleep again, look no further! Before we started at Robbin's Nest, our little one would only sleep while being held, but on the very first day with Keri, our baby went into the crib without any issues! While we're sad to age out of Robbin's Nest, we are incredibly grateful for the lessons, memories, and friendships we formed during our time there. Our little one has learned so much during her time here. If you are looking for a safe and nurturing daycare run by amazing people, your search ends here. Call Robbin's Nest as soon as possible!
