I was asked during the appointment if I wanted a Brazilian as well, I said no. Apparently, I was given a partial Brazilian without my knowledge. This was my first time waxing that area, so I had no idea what a typical bikini line wax was supposed to look like and didn't really question it. A month later, I noticed a transaction for an additional $24 on top of the cost of the bikini wax (this charge was separate from the leg wax - I was charged for the leg wax the day before, there were no issues with that). When I asked her about it, she informed me that it was because she gave me a partial Brazilian. I reminded her that I said no to a Brazilian and she gave me a refund of $20. I was charged for a service I never asked for and had no clue I was receiving. The website says "and up" after every price that's listed. There's no upper limit and no further details are provided, so I highly recommend clearly stating what you want and asking how much it'll cost BEFORE the appointment. I don't think it was intentional and she gets a lot of clients so I doubt this is a regular occurrence, but it's better to discuss the price and the service beforehand to avoid any miscommunication.

The prices seemed reasonable so I decided to give them a try. When I walked in, there was one person being serviced and one lady working. My wait was about 10 minutes. When the lady was finished with the previous customer, she told me that I could go to the back. I assumed we were going to use the same chair that the previous customer sat in. I really wanted her to wipe down the chair before I sat down. I didn't make a big deal about it though. I requested threading on my eyebrows and wax for my upper lip and chin areas. It took no time for her to do what I requested. However, I believe in her haste, she burned my upper lip with the wax. I felt the heat immediately when she put it on and later that night, I had a nice sized burn on my lip. I had to put Neosporin on my lip and I'm still using it as I type. My services were done 2 days ago. She actually did a great job on my threading and wax, other than the burn. Will I give this place another go? I think I will but I'll stay away from having them use wax around my lips. That area is way too sensitive.

She pointed me to the direction of the lash table for the application process. Application of the "natural" lashes process was different than expected... 1. She was a bit rough with turning my head side to side.2. She answered the phone several times to take personal phone calls. 3. There was young child coming in and out of the room during the service. 4. There was no explanation of the steps of the process, timeline for completion or even ask me if I maybe had similar services prior. Checkout: (The Worst Part) Most importantly-- Upon checkout she advises me of a total different than on my appointment confirmation; and proceeds to tell me 1. There was an "issue with the website", her husband messed up- (She admitted it was their mistake, But that I would still need to pay a higher price) 2. She also suggested that I "input a coupon" when I was booking my appt online... where on earth would I magically obtain a code to reduce your prices ?) (I showed her the price on the screen, she proceeds to argue that this is not correct) * I advised her I would call the police to sort this out.. At this point she decides to very rudely say "just give me whatever it says on the screen" (from my appointment confirmation). I explained to her as a new customer this was very disappointing and that her website is out of my control. In the future it may be helpful to ensure prices listed for services are accurate and agreed upon prior to servicing a client. I learned from now on the triple check the agreed upon rate before receiving services from anyone. I will definitely not be returning here and urge you to save your time and money and go elsewhere.
