So my issue was something that when we bought the house mentioned. Inspector said this in his report: Water Lines: Copper/PEX/CPVC - -Water hammering was noted when multiple systems were running at the same time - this is possibly a pressure regulator issue. Pressure drops at systems running with multiple systems running. Recommend further assessment and repair. Basically if both showered were running at the same time no water would come out. Randy came to the rescue! I was able to get my plumbing needs fixed. I will definitely call them again. I will be needing a new water heater (which he and the home inspector both said I would need in the future) and will be calling them to Install. Randy was a great guy he explained everything for me. He gave me a price cut and dry. Which was perfect. I will recommend theses guys for sure. Randy asked if I was happy he would be happy. That was such a great customer service approach. Thank you so much for helping me.

They said I used a coupon 6 years ago & that it…read morecould not be used again, but that was only After they technician was in my basement with a camera. Tech would not leave my house when I asked - basically refusing to leave and saying "I have camera right here, don't you want me to do the inspection?" But he would only do it if I agreed to pay $250 and then have that amount go toward a repair. Refusing to leave someone's house is trespassing, and yes it's super unethical to do a "hard sell" using such a method. If they thought I "already used a coupon" which I didn't actually remember doing (6 years ago, mind you), they should have told me that over the phone, up front. And when their tech is in a home, he refuses to stop & immediately leave, when asked, that is a big problem, plus illegal also.

I saw that Rooter Connectionz had a $39 drain unclogging service. I scheduled a drain unclogging…read moreand cleaning. It turns out they are also Action Plumbing which I didn't know until the truck pulled up to my house. That's when I knew the $39 wasn't going to be the price but I didn't expect what I was quoted. I was quoted $1,100 for a hydrojetting, camera inspection, enzymes, and a membership. I refused all that and then after a call to a manager, I was quoted $450 for a cable drain cleaning and membership. I sent the guy on his way. The sales guy said a lot of things like, "we do things differently" and "unclogging with a cable isn't permanent", and "we can't honor the warranty without the camera inspection" etc. I felt like I was getting sold especially when I couldn't get the service without the $233 membership. I asked what is costs for camera inspections and enzymes if I don't get the membership and he said, and I quote, "$233 but that's because of the warranty." I'm now not even sure I was talking to an actual plumber. Called another company and my drain is unclogged and cleaned for $275. No membership, used an auger and pumped water in the pipe. Was told that we need to be careful with these older pipes and hydrojetting may bust right through. If you are interested in who that was, I'll post a positive review on their Yelp page. It's a company I've worked with before and only called Rooter Connectionz because I got lured in by the cheap price that turned out to not exist. I see an array of reviews here and on other sites. If you are not in an urgent situation, I suggest getting more than one quote on any service before committing to Action Plumbing or Rooter Connectionz.

Our tech was Donovan Romo. He was on time in the given time window, knew his craft well and fixed our emergency water leak in a timely fashion. We liked the fact that you get 3 quotes, and we went with new parts, as our house is 20 years old. Price quoted for the work that was done, was fair and even discounted a bit. I would rate Scott Hale Plumbing as a top shelf business, where you get equal top shelf service. Also, Donovan was a great tech. Thank you... Matt H

I've been a Scott Hale customer for many years now. They've done many jobs for me and they also…read morereplaced my water heater, furnace and AC unit when they conked out. The old furnace went out the day before Thanksgiving one year, and they had a new one installed and running the same day. I appreciate the employees who have provided good service over the years. In the beginning I referred friends to SH, saying they are not necessarily cheap but they do good work. (Looking back, I realize however that I overpaid for the new water heater and other some other major expenses, I was just naïve and didn't do due diligence. More about overcharging below.) That being said, I've given up on SH. Too often my encounters with its employees go wrong. The person they send may or may not have experience with my issue, and they never ask for help from other employes. One recommended I have a new air intake installed (he came twice and couldn't get rid of the awful noise) and when I finally got a different guy over, he fixed the whistling noise just by recaulking the area; it was gone in minutes. Another guy made excuses for the (unsupervised) people who ripped up large patches of drywall because they didn't know to go through an interior wall; SH paid for the extra drywall repairs, which I appreciated. Another guy freaked out about the "sewage" he imagined must be under the board beneath my sink (there was none). Another couldn't tolerate me saying that I had never had a leaky condensation pipe until they replaced the AC. My 10+ years in my home meant nothing, and this is consistent: many times the repairmen will not give credence to anything I say, and however neutrally I state it, react as if I'm challenging them in some way. The latest incident is the $1800 estimate for replacing my kitchen sink (labor only). The guy said it would take 2-3 hours to remove the old sink (!!) and added that he would "cap the pipes" so I wouldn't lose water to the rest of house. I mean, there's upselling and then there's just BS. The plumber I hired removed the old sink in 20 mins and is charging a few hundred dollars for the whole job (including installing the new one). And of course the water to the house didn't have to be shut off, there are valves right under the sink. I'm really appalled they would just...lie.
