Spicy chicken Sammy with fried jalepeno strips, pickles and coleslaw! Love those sweet potato fries!

Fantastic spot!! Family went for lunch mid afternoon on a beautiful fall Sunday. No wait and only a handful of people. Shocking because this place is a gem! We sat on the patio, mostly shaded. My husband was happy to spy a tv to watch football We shared the loaded tater tots and we all were pleasantly surprised to see they are handmade huge tater tots! We loved them Burgers, and spicy chicken sandwich. Crinkle fries and sweet potato fries. Add this great place with a view of the golf course and pond to your list! Especially during patio weather Service was sweet and helpful. we will look forward to going again!

Turkey club

Busy Friday night and Aaron & Moses had seats, largely due to its golf club location. We arrived and were promptly seated and offered beverages. The expresso martinis are good! Mom had a turkey club that was impossibly large. I had a smoked short rib with an emphasis on the smoke. The meat was tender but dry and the smoke was prominent. The accompanying vegetables and mash were tasty but the whole dish could stand for a little moisture.

Burnt salmon and can onion fries not cooked.

The food and service is amazing over looking the golf course on the patio. Twin burgers on Tuesday $8. Delicious! Hummus, cauliflower bites, flat bread pizza also delicious.

Crispy Chicken with Wedge Salad ($2 extra)

This place has been on my list for a while, finally got to stop by on a Friday lunch-date with the wife. Fun place, quiet, we were only 1 of 4 parties. It's part of a bigger establishment, they have a Golf Shop, place where they have parties and reception, then the restaurant. From the front doors, you'll see the counter that has A&M on it, that's where you get a table. The chicken was delicious. Huge chicken breast, cooked thoroughly. The wife got the burger with rosemary seasoned fries. According to her, the burger was good but "nothing special". My drink was a smoked old fashioned, great presentation but the drink was a bit weak (still drank it tho). Overall, great place. Would be nice to see during warmer weather.

The calamari is amazing! Loved the Thai sauce it came tossed in. Salad was also good, chicken was ok. Nice atmosphere!

Twinsburger with fries or salad. Delicious, like an ole fashioned burger.

Aaron and Moses is an industrial/modern decorated restaurant at the Gleneagles Golf Course. It's very nice with a view of the 18th fairway. A large deck gives you an option to eat outdoors. The bar is popular. We came for Tuesday's $8 Twinsburger, with was two handmade patties with cheese and pickles on a nice bun. Delicious!! It came with fries or a salad. We chose one with fries and one with a Wedge, and shared. Aaron and Moses Wilcox were twins in Twinsburg in 1819, when they purchased land and settled. We like the food and prices here. The noise level can be loud when crowded.

Loaded Tots

I spent a week on the East coast and needed somewhere good to eat while on our way back. Shout out to Megan J. for the recommendation and hospitality! So, let's dive in -- all the food was fantastic, but their loaded tots are seriously drool worthy. Highly, highly recommend! The buffalo chicken flatbread wasn't spicy, but the flavor was good. Definitely nice if you're not wanting something super heavy. The crispy chicken sandwich was very, very good. The chicken was thick and still juicy -- there's nothing worse than overcooked chicken, y'all. PRO TIP: When you order on DoorDash, they include the sauces on the side. While this is a nice touch so things don't didn't get soggy, I did almost miss the hot honey sauce to drizzle over the sandwich. It also says on DoorDash that the chicken sandwich comes with chips. It comes with rosemary fries that I was happy with. All-in-all I'm very happy that I was recommended to eat here, the quality of the food and the service. I'm sure I'll be back when in the area next.

It took quite some time for our server to come to our table and take our order. We started with the Buffalo chicken flatbread which was quite a large serving for the price point and delicious. The loaded tots are more of a hush puppy consistency, so not what we expected but still decent. For the main course, I had the crispy chicken sandwich. It was a generous portion but the chicken itself lacked flavor. I would go back due to the atmosphere and the drinks being so delightful.

Beautiful golf course view!

Tuesday is $8 burger and fries night! No gluten-free buns but they were kind enough to wrap it in lettuce. Healthy portion even with the special. Would recommend reservations. We took a couple burgers home for the sons.

They don't have a specific gluten free menu but there plenty of things you can change up or they are naturally gluten free. The stuffed Hungarian peppers appetizer is an awesome started to go with. The pepper has a comfortable amount of spice to it. The red sauce with the sausage is a good combination. Definite try. The pizza crust is always a hit or miss at places with a GF crust, but the crust is a big winner here. The cheese blend pairs nicely with the sausage and pepperoni. Filling and satisfying! The burger was enjoyed. Not a favorite fir my dad, but has plenty of other burgers to get there. My brother got the Featured Italian Wrap. We all looked at his plate at how BIG it was. He had one half at the restaurant, and the other half, the next day. Wow though. This was something that didn't get shorted at all. Haley was our waitress that. A super sweet and attentive girl. She checked on our GF questions with the kitchen if she wasn't a hundred percent certain saying yes or no. Preseason football is starting, so more people began to show up to sit at the bar to watch. And they have a very busy local band schedule for the summer on their patio outside. So, check it out if you're interested. Seems like a fun place when it gets to be the warmer weather season. Will definitely return.

The chicken wrap had no seasoning and it was so dry I needed to ask for an additional sauce and it was still unflavoured. Husbands fish perch basket was not good either. The location has undergone some positive decor changes in the past year or so. It is much more welcoming than it was before and just feels like a place to be comfortable. Maybe it is the bar stools that make that happen. :) Best bar stools around! The afternoon crew that sits on the corner by the garage door is a great group of people who welcome in anyone to join their group and just have some fun conversation. It gets pretty comical with those guys, so be prepared. Speaking of the garage door...it opens to a very large deck area that can get pretty busy during the summers. There is a good amount of seating out there as well as some patio furniture to just sit down and relax. Inside is mostly high top tables, but there are a lot of booths for people who like that type of seating. The group of bartenders and servers are quality at this point. They do their jobs quickly, and want you to enjoy yourself.

When the best things you can say about an eating establishment is "My server was very friendly and…read morenice...when she decided to come by the table" or "Oh, yeah, they have one of my favorite, rare beverages on tap"...that's just not good overall. Definitely a sports bar with a bunch of people there for the games but the lighting was a little too low and the volume a tad too high for my preference. Not because people were cheering, but that's just how it was. I will say they had a truly eclectic array of patrons...hippies, yuppies, blue collar, white collar...that was cool to see. Now the food...their fold over (think all things pizza without the crust) was good but the Italiano Philly...though amazing in thought...not so much in execution. The amount of toppings was great but on such little bread that you couldn't pick it up without the lettuce and tomatoes falling off. Normally not an issue but the Philly was loaded with such salty ingredients that without the "salad" the sandwich was so salty that it literally burned my tongue and throat. It took 20 minutes to receive both tap drinks...the first one came at 5 minutes. The other took 15. It was about 40 minutes until the food came out. Cold. Flaccid, unseasoned fries. Disproportionate sandwich. An hour for subpar food and service....that's just not my thing.

We made a reservation via email and the staff were quick to respond. The menu isn't large and tea choices were more limited than other tea rooms I've been to. I chose the mint tea and my friend got the chamomile. We each received our own small tea pot that had its own chamber inside to steep the tea. The pots weren't decorative but they got the job done well and I liked that I didn't have to strain the tea myself. We were allowed to pick out our own teacup and saucer. For lunch, I tried the broccoli salad with potato soup and herbed bread. My friend got the broccoli cheese quiche and soup. My salad didn't have much dressing on it - I would have preferred more but I believe it was a premade salad. The soup was ok as well. She said her quiche was tasty. Unfortunately I forgot to grab pictures. I would rate the food 3/5 but the tea a 5/5. Overall, I think the tea house is a nice option considering there aren't many in the area and I'd try it again.

That being said, I do enjoy the atmosphere and wood interior. They could do with dimming the lighting a little bit to give it a more aithentic public house feel. The menu is fairly diverse and stereotypically Irish with funny names for food items like Kieran's quesadillas and Irish eggrolls. I will admit that I have probably only had five or six different menu items, including the shepherds pie, fish and chips, and schnitzel. The shepherds pie was passable. The schnitzel was soggy and not particularly tasty. The fish and chips is OK (I've had it several times) but I do not care for the batter they use at all. It is not even close to an authentic beer batter like you would find in Ireland or the UK. The flavor is neutral, and usually some sections of the batter become exceptionally hard for some reason. I do frequently attend their Thursday night trivia which is a lot of fun. All in all, I feel like Mavis Winkle's could be doing a lot of things a lot better but I guess it is passible for a little town like Twinsburg.
