I was traveling 45-60 mins into Hoboken to get taken care of by a great barber, but that became hard when my wife and I had our second child. Wassim and his staff have filled that role and are a quick 10 minute drive from my house. Make no mistake, these are best barbers in the area and the price is unreal- in a very good way. I also want to throw a lot of praise at Bruno and Mehmeti. Bruno is one of the very best fade specialists in the business. He's my weekly go to. Mehmeti is the guy you want when scissors and longer hair come into play. Between the three of them, these guys provide unreal service for the price you pay. I'd say it's the best barbershop that I've been to- and that includes nyc, Philly and jersey. Glad they're only 15 mins away. Highly recommend Wassim, Bruno, Mehmeti and team. Scared him with everything. My son is 2! I asked the guy to take it easy. Then it got ugly. He KEPT GOING. Didn't stop cutting his hair, shorter and shorter. The told the guy to just STOP cutting his hair. HE KEPT GOING! I was kind of shocked looking around like, WTF is going on here -- I couldn't believe the guy?! Finally I asked him to just STOP! And he stopped. Look, again, a good or bad haircut - my son is healthy any doing ok. Hair grows back. It just seriously bothers me how the guys here handled such a young boy while completely disregarding his parent. I'll never in a million years ever go here again myself, certainly never again with my son, and I would like to warn others to please stay away. Nada is one of the hardest working and friendliest barbers I have ever met. She is personable, prices are more than reasonable, and she will take the time to make sure you get the haircut you want. With so many great barbershops in Ridgewood, I would say this place is a hidden gem.
