Naturally, we contacted the store expecting them to stand behind the products they profit from. Instead, they immediately hid behind the manufacturer and acted like none of it was their problem. So apparently Home Depot's business model is: Sell defective products, collect the money, dump the customer onto someone else when things fail. Amazing system. Truly. Anyone can make money if they never take responsibility for what they sell. And this wasn't even a one-time experience. Nearly everything we've purchased from this particular store has had issues, defects, or outright failures. Getting anyone there to help is like talking to a wall. No ownership, no urgency, no accountability. Just endless "you'll have to call someone else" nonsense from employees who clearly have been trained to avoid responsibility at all costs. At this point, it feels like Home Depot is less interested in customer service and more interested in being a middleman for defective junk while leaving customers stuck dealing with the consequences. Companies like this wonder why customers stop coming back and why people are abandoning big-box stores. Here's your answer: People are tired of paying premium prices for garbage products and nonexistent support. Absolutely pathetic customer service.

There is no getting around it unless I go to Goodwill or ReStore and see about getting a used one, which might not be a bad idea. A quick price comparison online shows I got a fair price, and the best part was I knew when I walked out that the vacuum would work for me. I also know where to go if I need it serviced! Too often, employees are unfamiliar with the items I'm looking for, tell me the store doesn't carry them, or simply don't know where they are located. During my most recent visit, I needed a hose and a cooler. The first employee was helpful and assisted me in finding the correct hose. However, when I asked another employee about coolers, he told me that Home Depot doesn't sell them. After I showed him that the website indicated there were 19 in stock, he took me to the garden center and stated that they were sold out and that the website was incorrect. As I was leaving the garden center, I immediately saw a large display of coolers along with outdoor furniture and other seasonal items. I understand that mistakes can happen occasionally, but this has been a recurring experience during many of my visits. The lack of product knowledge and consistent assistance makes shopping here far more difficult than it should be.

Bought appliances from them and the dishwasher was installed while missing a leveling bolt. After…read moreseveral months the sprayer blade melted and broke, which we replaced. Then several months later the sprayer blade broke again, after it was out of warranty. We figured out that due to the dishwasher not being level that the sprayer blade was getting caught up in the pool of water caused by the unbalanced unit. We contacted Kelly's to see if they at least had a leveling bolt we could get / purchase and were told that the person who installed the unit would contact us, which never happened. Ultimately we got a leveling bolt for free from a local appliance repair store (thank you) and fixed the dishwasher ourselves, but we had to buy two sprayer blades and deal with a leaking /overflowing dishwasher due to their bad installation job.
