Excellent customer service by Shane. My wife and I came into this location after visiting two other non-BedMart stores. This store had a great selection of beds to choose from and Shane went above and beyond. We never felt pressured by Shane and he never tried to "upsell" us. After spending time at the other stores, we felt we got the most information and genuine care at this location while working with Shane. Being so close to Black Friday, Shane got us the best deal possible with the bed we wanted. The store is well organized, clean and well lit. The parking is good with private and free parking in a lot directly in front of the store. Apparently this location is one of the best places to work according to the sticker on the door so that means happy employees typically. I am a person who has "Quadraparesis, secondary to Spinal Decompression via Tophaceous Involvement"--yeah, it's a mouth-full for me too O.o I've shopped at all the local bed stores in Portland for the perfect bed that was not so much support focused as it was comfort focused. Hours. Upon hours. One day, me and the wife shopped into a local America's Mattress in the S.E. Portland area--and we fell in love with the "Rosetta", a branch of the "Vera Wang" set. The bed was beautiful, luxurious, and just perfect for both me AND my wife. We knew this bed would be an investment of our life, where we would start our life and family together. However, due to finances and everything, we could only window-shop for the time being. Hopefully, by Spring 2012, my wife's income-tax would cover for the bed, since I was unable to work or receive SSDI. However, by Spring 2012, we had found that Serta was no longer continuing the Vera Wang brands, and that all "Vera Wang" beds were in "outlet" since December 2011. When we called the local America's Mattress stores for our beloved model, we found that there was only one left. And that's when we met "Dallas", Customer Care Professional Extra-Ordinary. He was a god-send. Though on "outlet" status, he assisted my wife and I in securing our bedding in monthly installments. We were so pumped and happy about our bed that we tried to pay on a weekly-basis as a gesture of assurance and gratitude for the opportunity. As the single-point-of-contact, I was able to receive his direct contact and call him personally to make payments, inquire into the bed, make shipping arrangements, and even possible storage options post-full-payment. Dallas is a person who knows how to balance between being both "professional and compassionate". Things were not only "business-as-usual" when necessary, but personable, sincere, and understanding when applicable. To me, Dallas is not a "salesman"--he's "Customer-Care". read more

Very disappointed in the quality of the product we actually received. A mechanical base quit working 4 months after we had it. Latest update they did stand behind the manufacture warranty . The mechanical base is working . I will increase the rating to 3 and a half star for the honoring of the manufacture's warranty. read more

They use Genesis Credit for their customers to finance the mattress. I was told 12 months no interest financing by the salesperson only to find out that it was only 6 months. I paid the balance off after finding out that I was going to get charged with ridiculous amount of interest fee but they still charged me with fees for having a 0 balance on the account. read more

We went to Bedmart yesterday to replace our old mattress and were greeted by Brian as soon as we walked in. He was extremely helpful without being overbearing, like some other mattress/furniture sales people. It was a very comfortable atmosphere, no pressure at all, and Brian just seemed like a really nice, genuine, warm-hearted person, someone you can see yourself talking to because you want to, not because you have to. He showed us around and explained different options, giving us time to look around and test out different beds. We found the one we absolutely loved and went for it. The 48 month, no interest financing is great and with 0 interest, why not? The application process was really fast and Brian also threw in some fantastic deals for some cool pillows (literally cool) and mattress cover. He gave us the break down and several different options not being pushy about any of it. We got free next day delivery (which happened to fall on Super Bowl Sunday) and expected to talk to someone around 9am to schedule the delivery and hoped they'd be here before the game started. The mattress was actually delivered right around 9 am! By the way, we were told about the mattress being firmer than the floor model in the beginning. Seems like common sense to me. Think of all the people testing out the floor models! Oh and we used the pillows with our old mattress last night and already felt a great improvement. Can't wait to break in our new Temperpedic! The floor models can not be trusted for accuracy compared to with what they will deliver to your house. We spent a lot of money on a bed only to give it back problems and headaches every time we wake up. When we wanted to exchange it for a softer bed, the prices magically increased in addition to the $100 exchange price. Recommend that people go somewhere that has a good comparison of floor models vs new product as this was very misleading to us. I'd even say it was deceptive because of how different the comparison was. Will always advise against this place. read more

First and foremost he was extremely patient, knowledgeable, precise, and frankly hilarious. He was very perceptive and sensitive to my particular decision making style, he gave me space to think and offered accurate suggestions when asked. I spent 3 hours total here in a relaxed/helpful setting with excellent care driven service. My mattress was the last of its kind so I got a sweet deal, less then 600$ for a firm and fabulous queen.
