The appliance section takes up the majority of the store. Discounts I saw ranged from 30% to 75% off. Some appliances had dents but most appeared to be damage free. I wish I had been in the market for the shades. $10 a pop is unreal and I've purchased the identical shades for my home at full price. Anyone doing a remodel or new construction should check this store out. Several times someone working there offered assistance. I'm guessing that inventory changes frequently. Highly recommend.

Not so with Queen City. They delivered a Whirlpool fridge to me that didn't cool. They kept saying to wait 24 hours--nothing. I kept getting tossed around from the Charlotte store, where Queen City is based to the Greensboro store, trying to resolve the issue, but it took six days to "resolve"--and by that I mean I cancelled the order altogether. Customer service would say they'd call me back but never did. Not one person apologized for the inconvenience to me or for their shoddy response to their defective product. I bought the same fridge at Lowe's and it hasn't given me a problem. Their customer service was top notch, too. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM QUEEN CITY.

Needed a last-minute key made and this location was the closest place to have this done quickly…read more I walked in, headed straight for the aisles. Though I wasn't for sure where the keys are made. Within seconds, I spotted the kiosk placed near the self-checkout area. I didn't feel as if I was blocking anything or in the way of the walkways. I appreciate the easy path to finding it. Once there, the on screen instructions will guide you through the process. The price was $5.34 with tax. Note that this price was for a house key. Prices may vary for car keys and other types of keys. The entire process felt like a couple of minutes, tops. Overall, the 1-minute key machine served its purpose and saved the day! I was even offered a free 2nd key during my checkout process. I did not receive a physical receipt but they will email one after. I'll be back to gather my gardening supplies later this month. I usually shop here for my home plants and outdoor garden activities. Glad I could accomplish a last minute errand.
