I've been renting from Aarons since maybe 2019...So I'm very aware of how they operate with the excessive phone calls 2-3 a day every day if you're just a few days late on payments..but that's not my review...my review is banging on a door at 930 in the morning on a Saturday like Jehova Witnes...although the representative tried to be playful...I felt insulted with the fact he fabricated the fact that "auto pay" was MANDATORY...for someone who is in sells it generally recommended certain product and services but to say something that's clearly optional on the website is mandatory is diabolical....Train your representative better!!!!! read more

Got approved for a new mattress. Ordered it end of June. They could not deliver for about two weeks. Then they tell me that they could not deliver on my days off, so I tried to cancel. They relented and said they would deliver on a Saturday. Saturday comes and I get a call telling me they had not received my payment. Still, no mattress. A month later I'm still sleeping on the floor. Needless to say, I'm done with them. read more

Aaron has given me a way out of the credit bashing society without actually following bankruptcy after a divorce loss of furniture I mean all furniture I had to rearrange my lifestyle find new employment also find a way to finance new appliances. My mom means the world to me when I first one here I thought of myself then I realize they have some bomb washer and dryers for family college student needs clean clothes all the time. I thought I was going to get rejected I thought I was gonna be denied then faith change dramatically. One thing I wouldn't do is deny payments because when you fall behind he gets difficult so the Aaron's club for good reasons gives you assurance. Thank you urns for giving me a second opportunity in this credit-based system that is imperative to succeed in America. FYI you have the option to pick up your items instead of delivery if you choose they give you a waiver. It's located on Crenshaw and imperial inside the shopping center next to Jack-in-the-Box and they also have a smoke shop there for those who enjoy tobacco do we mention five guys or even a grocery store. As far as the furniture they have anywhere from PlayStation five Xbox series X off the top employees here are pretty cool I have a friend that works here been on them for 30+ years. read more

All of these reviews are very true. Please do not do business with this company. Please spread the word. This company is completely unprofessional. Everyone is very rude. And no one communicates. The stores don't communicate with online. I places an order on September 3rd and I'm just now hearing from a rep and on top of that they canceled my order without evening notifying me because it was out of stock. So basically the process takes about 3 weeks. Do yourself a favor and go to Rent a Center or Aim rental. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. read more

OMG this place is so shady. I just called corporate to make sure my contract was null and void, since Alton the Crenshaw store manager threw a tantrum when I complained to corporate and his regional manager about his LACK of customer service skills, dirty store, etc. Corporate informed me I had to go into store or deal with unprofessional regional manager. The worst service ever ,I have been a customer for years and I hate I every went there know one there knows what they are doing they will give you one price then someone else there will give you another one, they don't go over you contact all the way they just tell you bites n pieces they are croaks when im done paying I will never go there again , big liars ! I am currently renting to own a big screen TV and a refrigerator from them I have never had a problem here. Alton the manager was really nice to me and my delivery was on time actually it was earlier than what they said when my TV came now my refrigerator was only a couple hours late but it was still a next day delivery. They made my experience very good here and if I need something else I will be sure to come back! read more

This is one of the most unprofessional establishments I've ever done business in. The associate CONNIE is rude and pretentious! If you should be so bold as to ask a question, she will be disrespectful as if you're bother her and wasting her time. The store manager FRED only repeats the same thing over and over. Wished I read these reviews before signing up with this company. Placed my order on the 2nd of the month and after two weeks of no communication, I called the store and they told me the merchandise was there and that someone would be calling me the same day to set up the delivery, which never happened. I called the next day, and they tell me that I have to give my credit card info over the phone to set up automatic payments before they can make the delivery. After I hung up and set it up online, I call back and they tell me the next delivery is in 2 weeks, like WTF!!! To top it off they use the COVID excuse to say they don't set up the furniture for you but yet they charge a delivery/set up fee on your contract. WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT WHEN I WAS PLACING THE ORDER!!! Do you know how hard it was to put together a complete bedroom set and then to realize the furniture is made of cheap material!!! Trashy business! Management is a joke! I order a dining set from them 11/22/19. They told me my item will be delivered within five business days. By 11/30/19 I reached out to the customer service line to check the status of my order, when I was told my item was at the store and would be delivered the following day. I was a little confused as to why I wasn't contacted when my set arrived so I called the store, a gentleman answered the phone and I asked about my order, he placed me on hold for about 5mins. When he returned to the line, his exact words were "ma'am your order isn't here and I can't even tell you when the next delivery will go out, There's no tellin" REALLY?! I was so annoyed at this point! I just told him to cancel the order and refund me my money! The gentleman proceeded to tell me the "manager" Alton will be in touch with me for my refund.... Fine! So Alton finally calls 2 hours later and says "umm hi, can you remind me as to why I am calling you back"? WOW! I just want my money back! He says ok it will be deposited within yep you guessed! 5 BUSINESS DAYS! You guys are a unprofessional ghetto hot mess!And I want no dealing with you! Oh and I have YET to receive my refund! This place is horrible! They sweet talk you into buying overly expensive items. Once they get you into a contract they pull a variety of shady stunts. I would call about my balance after I made a payment. They would tell me one thing, then something different when I would call to make my next payment. For instance, after the second to last payment I called to get the payoff balance. They tell me $89.99. Now when I call to pay it off, 2 weeks later , they say it's $151! If you do end up going, make sure to follow through on the 90 days same as cash. If you don't make it they will charge you even more. read more

Time accuracy is terrible don't put your customers on a time frame and you don't meet the time frame you scheduled...people have lives and can't keep calling off or leaving work waiting for a delivery all day...terrible customer service/appreciation...will pay this off and never deal with them again. read more

I recently order a 65" Philips TV online and this store delivered it. The day after delivery, before it was used, the TV fell over. I called Aaron's right away, and informed them of what happened. They assured me that the store's General Manager, Alton, would be contacting me soon. When he called, the same day, we scheduled for a appointment where he could come out and pickup the TV and of course investigate what happened the next day. I understand that its a certain protocol that needs to take place and this situation was handled very professionally. It happened Friday and by Monday I had a new TV, my kids were able to play the Xbox One S, that came with it, and everyone is happy. I appreciate the expedited and professional service I received regarding this matter. I would definitely refer them to family and friends and continue to be a loyal customer. DO NOT SHOP HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered a TV online thinking I had found a great deal and having three months to pay it off same as cash was a great deal. The process was easy, ON LINE. Once the store had to take over and process the paperwork things became a nightmare. After submitting my app on line I was told the TV would be delivered in a week. A week later I called the store to see if a deliver date had been scheduled, I was told delivery would take longer and I could pick up the TV to get it faster . The next day I called Aaron's to let them know I was omw to pick up the TV. I was told the application still hadn't been checked. This is after I was told I could come in to get the TV. I wait ANOTHER week. I get a missed call and vm from Shawna that the TV is ready for delivery. I call back and ask if I can pick the TV so I can get it faster. They tell me yes and I let them know I will be in Monday. TODAY, Monday, I go in and they ask me to sit and wait. I wait..... FOR A HOUR then I'm told they still haven't processed my application completely. Again, this is the second time after I was told that the TV was ready and I could pick it up. I sat inside of Aaron's and found a CHEAPER, much BETTER TV on Walmart.com. I immediately told Alton, or whatever his name is, to cancel my order. Only then was he ready to give me the TV. I told him no and proceeded to order my 50 inch smart tv for only $348 with 2 day shipping to my house for only $5( pre Xmas special I suppose). Listen, unless you are desperate, rely only on government aid, or have no better alternatives SHOP ELSEWHERE !!! I am so thankful I was able to cancel because these people are totally incompetent and definitely do not know how to run a business. Buying the TV flat out saved me at the very least HUNDREDS of dollars. Save up your money or go to Rent A Center, they are even better than this sorry company !!! Extremely rude. They delivered my washer and dryer and did not properly install it. When I ran the first load in my washer the entire bottom half filled up with water and spilled out all over my floor ruining all of my moving boxes filled with my things as I just moved in that same day. They were not sympathetic about the damage. When I had to reschedule to get it fixed they never gave me a time window and said that they would be back out sometime on Monday. I stayed home from work and from doing whatever it is that I needed to and they didn't show up until 7:30 PM that same day. Then they said they could not repair the issue. So as the washer continued to leak water all over my boxes I waited another day for them to show up. They said that they would be there in between 11 and 4:00 PM. Given the fact that they waited until the end of their work day to come and service my item and not actually fix it I assumed that they were not going to come right at 11. I had to drop something off down the street. I got a phone call at 11:55 from them saying that they were there and no one was home I told him that I would be home very soon I asked them to wait. I got home at 12:05 PM with a note on the door saying that they had came...every thing was time stamped. They could not have gotten too far within that time given the traffic that was happening around my house as to why I was late getting to them. I called them back and they said that they would not be able to turn around and come back to me that they had to stay on schedule. I would like to know when their schedule actually is. They said they waited 20 minutes. Actually they waited 10 according to the time stamp. When I called the service center and asked to speak to the person who is in charge of the entire order she was incredibly rude to me. Her name is Michelle. I explained the situation and how my machines were serviced two times and not able to be fixed. I explained how I had to wait around for two whole days missing work and anything else that I had to do because I was not given a time frame and I said to her I wasn't sure if it would be in between 8 AM or 8 PM asked when you were going to get here because nobody gave me a time...she proceeded to tell me that I was crazy and that I was a liar and that none of that happened. And I said well, I was told to wait and I did and no one showed up and then the next day when I was five minutes late. I was unable to receive service she told me I was crazy again and was incredibly rude and said she didn't know if they would be able to come and fix it at all. I would rather them come and take my washer and dryer away then to have to deal with them ever again. They were incredibly rude and insulting on the phone. When I called someone above them from their corporate office they gave me an issue number and said that I would only be able to get service after 24 hours. What am I supposed to do with all of my ruined items in my garage that are soaking wet and I have a swimming pool in my garage? I guess I will have to wait around another bajillion hours in order to get my things serviced again. I wonder who will take care of all the electronic devices that were damaged from all the water because they didn't install my washer properly? If you choose to use this place make sure that you had ample time to wait around on your butt all day and you better kiss their ass the entire time or else they will be mean to you and call you crazy too and possibly a liar. okay ! now i usually dont write reviews but here we go! I have had a contract with aarons for almost a year. When i signed up i told them to take there payment the second week. For the last 10 months i have been telling them this! they still insist on having me due the first of the month like i dont have rent and other responsibilites. So ofcourse i pay late, the second week to be exact. i signed up for another tv during the saint patricks day sale (sign up for 7.77), call the CS reps who stated the item would be delieverd to your store any day now, and to contact my store(inglewood) in 2 business days. i contacted them they stated you dont qualify do to your history. i said ok just give me my money back( but whhhhhhhhy did i suggest he do that ?????) because then it went smoooooth down hill! he called me angry and questioned why i was so hostile i stated i wasnt but i think its quite funny how yall can blow me up about your payment but cant blow me up to let me know i cant get my new item. he said its not like its $100 ! its just 7.77. like i wouldnt give 2 flying fucks if it was 75 cent its my money and just like yall want yalls i want mine. this conversation about my money being put back on my card happened for atleast 30 minutes. i work in CS so i know this could have been handled in 3 minutes, for example : you cant get your product, ok put it back on my card, ok whats the card info, ok xyz, ok itll be 5-10 business days or you can just come to the store and pick it up , no just put it back on the card, ok have a nice day. But no this jerk wanted to keep arguing with me keep questioning my demands and keep picking the scab. i will NEVER EVER buy anything else from this store. ive had other unprofessional conversations with them but this one just tipped over the pot, inconclusion, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
