I wound up crying in the street waiting for the cab because my plane ticket was almost a thousand dollars and nonrefundable, and I'm not well-off so I'd never be able to afford another one in time to take the job. I was unemployed and would almost definitely have lost my home if I did not get the job. Another hour later, I accepted a ride to the airport from a complete stranger who encountered me crying, because I had no other choice. No other cab places were open, no Ubers or Lyfts were out in the first place, and it was very very late. I am a very small young college age woman and this older married man proceeded to say things that made me very uncomfortable and set off a lot of alarms.
