NEVER use this service. Worst situation ever. If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. This happened months ago and I now live all the way across the country, but I decided to post this anyway because I am still angry. I called for a ride to the Hartford airport from Northampton to get to a very important time sensitive job across the country, and a woman picked up. She seemed intoxicated but she told me a cab would pick me up in fifteen to twenty minutes and take me to the airport. When a half hour had passed, I called again and asked if the cab was on its way. She said it was. Another half hour later (an hour total of waiting), I was about to be late for my flight and still, nothing. I called the number again, and when I told her which ride I was, she groaned and hung up. I wound up crying in the street waiting for the cab because my plane ticket was almost a thousand dollars and nonrefundable, and I'm not well-off so I'd never be able to afford another one in time to take the job. I was unemployed and would almost definitely have lost my home if I did not get the job. Another hour later, I accepted a ride to the airport from a complete stranger who encountered me crying, because I had no other choice. No other cab places were open, no Ubers or Lyfts were out in the first place, and it was very very late. I am a very small young college age woman and this older married man proceeded to say things that made me very uncomfortable and set off a lot of alarms. Jokes about kidnapping me, etc. I was in a lot of danger. I am lucky to be alive and to have made it to the airport that day and got that job. If not for this company being insanely unreliable, I would never have felt forced to risk my life to have a job and a home this Spring. read more

Two weeks ago, my son suddenly became quite ill, and had to be transported to Cooley Dickinson hospital. Apparently, he received a voucher from his school for a taxi service called Paradise, or Aaron's Paradise Taxi. I am uncertain as to whether or not he utilized the certificate to travel to the hospital, but I am clear that it was intended to be used for transportation back to campus. I live in Los Angeles. Approximately around 12:15 am (3:15 am EST), my son contacted the taxi service to secure a ride. At 12:30 am (3:30 am EST), he texted me that he had been seen by the doctors and was on his way home. From 3:15 - 5:48 am - EST - ill, tired, and alone, my son had to wait for the taxi to arrive. He repeatedly called the service, and the woman who answered repeatedly hung up on him. He could not even ask what was going on, why there was no driver to pick him up. Even one of the nurses at the hospital, understanding that my son was quite ill and clearly had no other resource to get back to campus, attempted to assist my son. The hospital tried calling on his behalf, and couldn't even get through to them! I had no clue all of this was happening; that he was sitting there, by himself, trying to figure out how to get back to school. I fell back asleep, thinking that he was on his way back to the dorm. At 2:15 am - my time, PST - I called my son, again, just to confirm that he had made it back to the dorm and that the medicine he had been prescribed had started working. He was still at the hospital, waiting for this taxi! I suggested that he call an Uber driver. There were no drivers available. I asked him to have the hospital suggest another taxi service. By then, I was wide awake. So I got online and Googled several other taxi companies who claimed to have 24 hour service. He called Celebrity, Taxi Express, TikTak taxi, Gotta Go taxi, T Valley cab company, and finally Uber, again. At almost 6:00 am EST, the Paradise driver arrived. It would still be another half-hour before he would get to campus. I asked my son to give me the voucher number, so when I contacted his college, in the morning to express my concern, they had all of the details. I also asked him to get a receipt, and the driver's name. He was unable to provide the voucher number because he said that he had already given it to the driver. I asked my son to call me, again, once he was back in this dorm room. He was so exhausted from being both ill and stressed out from this ordeal that he entered his room and went straight to sleep. At 6:30 am - EST, he texted me back, apologizing for not responding, because he had fallen asleep after such an arduous ordeal! It is the worst feeling knowing that your child is not only ill, more than 2000 miles away from home, but is caught in a horribly vulnerable situation that you cannot do anything about. He was sick and quite frankly, abandoned. Paradise Taxi is the service he was assigned to use, if claiming the voucher. Why did they repeatedly hang up on him? Why did they refuse to answer their phones? What kind of business behaves in this manner and expects to STAY in business??? No wonder they have such horrible ratings on Yellow Pages, Facebook and Yelp! SHAME ON YOU PARADISE! You actually should receive NO STARS! read more

Disappointed to see this company has numerous pages on here. No doubt to distribute their negative reviews around. This is my review from a couple of years ago, on another page. Utterly disgraceful. Refused to honor their return pickup, stranded us in Sunderland. A cowboy operation, completely disreputable and unprofessional. Avoid at all costs. A little while ago I arranged a pick up and return journey for my wife and I when we had dinner at the Blue Heron in Sunderland. Drive out was ok, except having to stop so the driver could get change. The initial dispatcher we talked to recommended we call about 40 minutes ahead of when we wanted to be picked up for the return. I did so and was told that there weren't going to be able to send a car for a while, as they were all in Springfield, but would call me when one was on its way. No problem I thought, as we could just have some more drinks and wait. After 40 minutes I call back, wanting to get an update. The dispatcher again says it's going to be a while as they haven't been able to send a car out (I forget the full explanation). 40 minutes go by and this time we're the last people in the restaurant, I call again, and the dispatcher says a car's on it's way, and should be about 30 minutes. We wait and wait and wait again, and I call for the final time - the dispatcher gives me some BS about trying to contact me, he's been calling my phone since we last spoke but I didn't pick up and he left a message - neither happened, my phone never rang and no message was left. What he wanted to tell me though, was that the drivers had been dispatched to Springfield (or somewhere) again, and no car could come get us for another hour and half. Now feeling very stranded, and with no clue what to do, our waitress comes to our rescue and offers to give us a ride back on her way home. Never, ever use this company, it's fit only for transporting college kids filled with liquor and ready to vomit. I hope they do. read more

Pathetic company. Constantly late, straight out lie about eta, ( will tell you the cab is pulling in but 45 minutes later still a no show. The dispatcher is very very rude and will hang up on you, ( if she even answers, ) after first call asking where the cab you ordered an hour ago and were told 10 minute arrival time is. This is the worst taxi company in the area. I called to get a cab and the man on the phone was rude and condescending as he knew I was a college student because of where I asked to get picked up. I waited 40 minutes for the cab he said was coming. I called to cancel the cab so that the driver, if they were to show up, wouldn't have made a trip for no reason. When i called, the same man said, "well they called you four times and you never answered so its your fault." The taxi NEVER called me, not even once, so the employee was lying and was extremely rude. I think he just said a cab was coming when he never even sent it out. This company is full of assholes, I will never take it again. I would recommend T Valley cab or A to Z taxi instead. Fuck Aaron's Paradise. read more

I'm usually not one to complain about people's customer service but after my horrendous experience with Aaron's Paradise Taxi, I want to urge others to NEVER call them. I had called their taxi 1-2 times before and while I found the drivers less than ideal (1 driver got all huffy at me when I asked him to put on a mask because I live with people who are high-risk for COVID), it was something I could brush off. I want to emphasize that I was always exceptionally polite and previously, I made sure to tip the driver 20%. This time, I had recently sprained my ankle and was in an area where there were no Uber's or Lyfts. I needed to be home within 2 hours for an important work meeting. When I called Aaron's, the dispatch lady told me that they would pick me up within 15-20 minutes and they would call me when they got there. I also have very clear directions to where I was and the dispatcher said she knew exactly where I was. I waited for over an hour and they never called me. I called them back and the dispatcher said the driver was only a couple minutes away. 45 minutes later, no sign of the driver and they never called me. I tried calling them several times but they ignored my calls. They wasted 2 hours of my time. I had recently broken my ankle and do not have a car, so I was depending on this ride. This is really unprofessional and not okay. If they were not able to pick me up, I wish they could have just been honest about that instead of wasting my time! I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years but this company has gone completely down the drain. Very unprofessional rude and completely unreliable. The dispatcher is the daughter of the owner and NEVER pays attention to time or location of the customers. Several times had made me late for my appointments and job. They have a very half-assed business and clearly, don't care how they treat their customers ESPECIALLY ones who have kept them in business. This company takes your money and gauges fares on a long time customers. I see several reviews here with same problems and its only proves that they think they can do whatever they like and still be in business.DON'T even get me started on the drunk and high drivers that have picked me up in the past. I have used Aaron's Paradise a total of 3 times. Each time I called and made a reservation in advance and each time they were EXTREMELY late. I walked to my destination one time and the other two times I caught a ride with the much more reliable GoGreen Cab. I recommend to avoiding Aaron's if at all possible. read more
