Walk-in service. Prices on window are not updated. Not sure how I feel about my eyebrows. I liked the cleanup but I kinda regret getting my eyebrows printer with henna. The lines are a bit too harsh for me and I didn't like that tint was added to parts where there are no hair so the tint looks more obvious. I'm hoping the tint gets better over time.. will keep updated. Wait time was about 10 minutes before getting serviced. One employee only when I went in on a Monday afternoon. Not the place to go to if you're in a rush. Prices: $25 for tint & brows, $7 for upper lip

Will take a very long time to grow the inner side of my eyebrow back to where it was before and how it had been for many years.

I've been coming here for almost 10 years and have never really been picky with who I see because they've all done a great job (Purvi, Varshu, Nisha, Samina and a few others). Today was the first time I've been disappointed here. I told the lady that I don't want my eyebrows thin and only want a clean up (I actually like the shape of my natural eyebrows and it took forever to grow it out to where it was). She said okay, but clearly didn't understand the assignment and made the inner side of my eyebrows thinner than the rest. I'm pretty upset. It looks ridiculous. She asked me after she was done if it's okay, and I told her that it's way thinner than what I asked for. I didn't throw a fit because what's done is done. I just know now that I need to be more selective with who does the job going forward. Oh... and I really wish that they would sanitize/wipe down the chairs between each customer. A pump of hand sanitizer in between wouldn't hurt either since they're touching people's faces.

This was my first time coming here. Of course I called before I came in and the young lady told me over the phone that the artist wasn't going to be in until 3pm & I said that's fine. However, once I arrived their were two ladies busy doing eyebrows which was fine. I then asked if I can get a henna tattoo and she said sure just pull a picture off google and I said you don't have anything like a book with pictures of recent clients and she said she only had two that she did today & I didn't like either one of them. So, I continue to look online and I found one and then she try to charge me $30 for the picture because she said it was too detailed and then I pick something smaller and then it was nothing like the photo I suggested. I didn't like what I had overall and she charged me half price. Overall my experience here was a 4/10. Honestly I don't think I will be coming back just because of the inconvenience and lack of response when it comes to select of art to choose from. Thanks but no thank you.

Ok so it's no Ziba, but it's a cool, quick in and out spot to get yourself detailed. We don't go for the threading; I mostly go to get my daughter's pitts waxed (so no stubble). They have different ladies do it each time and some of course are more detailed than others. Recently, I went to get Henna. I knocked off several pieces of clay before I even left the shop and thought the design was lost. Also, my skin tone was so close to the clay color I thought I wasted $40, but to my surprise it lasted a good 2 weeks and got darker once the clay completely fell off. The lady free-handed the design once I showed her a picture of what I liked and it came out great. Can't wait to get another one. Treat yo' self!

I went in today for a Brazilian wax. Best waxing I've ever experienced. Very professional and kind. Not nearly as much pain as other places I've been to. The woman who does waxing here is only available after 1230pm but it's well worth the wait. Prices are incomparable. I'd definitely recommend Aayu threading for anyone who is looking for a great and inexpensive bikini or Brazilian wax. read more

This is my 2nd time here, they do a great job, very pleased and they make you feel very relaxed, and when they finish they massage your forehead and neck I would diffently tell anyone to go there. I also have been other places and I would give them a five star for sure read more

I just wanted to say that this was my first time here at AAYU Threading and Purvi is amazing she fixed my eyebrows I love how they look now=) not that long ago like 3 months ago I would go threading my eyebrows to Lakewood mall all the time not untill a older lady did my eyebrows and messed them up I was very disappointed that was my last time there so 3 months went by and I waited so I decided to do them again and give it a try and I did I was afraid but and the same time excited going in to AAYU and of course it was the best choice I have ever made thank you Purvi......... I mean eyebrows mean everything lol I will continue to go there thanks again=) read more

This is the best waxing person I have ever been to. The place isn't fancy but their prices are amazing, especially for LA (a Brazilian for $30!). And I'm never going back to wax my eyebrows. Cindy's threading is far superior. The salon is fantastic and provides great customer service!! read more

The service includes a steaming, mask, extractions, and a cleanse. It's rare that we give ourselves the opportunity to pamper 'down there' but it is so worth it to add to your self care repertoire! It is only fair that the same level of accountability be upheld on both sides. Customers are expected to respect the policy, and in return, the business should demonstrate the same consideration and reliability. Not be compensated with a $5 discount. When if I had canceled the appointment would have been charged $30. Experiencing this issue more than once concerns me about their consistency and professionalism. I hope improvements are made to better manage scheduling or compensation.

She just knew everything was falling into alignment. She entered the store, easily found everything she she needed, and due to her research, knew exactly how much her items would cost; taxes and everything included. The clerk rang her up and as my dear friend was just about to go on about her lovely Friday evening, she stopped and look at her receipt in hopes to celebrate how spot on her math would be. But unfortunately, she was stopped in her tracks as she noticed an exuberant additional amount charged over her own calculations. $60 worth of odd charges. She had a "things that make you go hmmm..." moment. My dear friend inquired about the additional charges and was met with what seemed to be "I'mma make some bs up so this lady will get out of my face" energy. My dear friend did not like this and asked for the manager and the clerk responded the manager was busy. Friend asked for the manager's name and the clerk gave it and it was the name of the clerk. Friend asked "Is that you??" The clerk responded "Yes." Friends' mind was blown and her annoyance grew. Friend asked for an explanation of the charges and like most businesses that attempt to take advantage of customers, when it got down to the core of it, the manager couldn't explain the charges and offered a refund to her debit card which would take 7-10 business days. My friend wasn't buying it, demanded an immediate cash refund of the over charges and wasn't leaving until she received it. I don't blame her at all. If you knew my dear friend, you would agree she is a lovely person and definitely not the person to play, scam, lie, cheat, or steal from. It would not be wise. Eventually the "clerk/manager/I accidentally over charged you $60 for some hair" came to her senses and refunded Friend in cash and all was calm. In a time when everyones money has an assignment and very few of us can enjoy luxury let alone have spare time and change to beautify ourselves, the last thing we need in a place as sacred as the beauty supply store, is the mindset and ill-political strategies of "wanna-be" oligarchs. This really ain't the time to be messing with anyone, especially women when it's time to get our hair done. This business needs to do better and realize many of us ain't too busy or distracted to read our receipts. This is a warning to them to stop pressing your luck. We're entering a time when buyers are not afraid to report you for fraud. Thank you for coming to my TEDTALK.

I've gone to 3 different nail salons for builder Gel nails. I have very thin nails and can never…read moregrow them long enough, within 3 weeks the builder gel starts to detach from the top, breaks and my nail breaks with it or they start to fade and the design on the nails look spent. I do a lot of weightlifting and am not as gentle with my hands. This time around, the gel builder feels strong and well build. Lin did an AMAZING job and listened to my concerns. She also listened to how I wanted my nails to look - made a super adorable design and reassured me they will last more than 2-3 weeks I'm hopeful about these nails. I didn't rate a 5 star since I just had them done and want to see if they do last as long as mentioned. It was very easy to be seen on the same day. They were quick and efficient. Already made an appt to return for the refill. I'm hopeful. So far love this place. Will be coming back.
