I've been coming here for two years now. Purvi used to do my brows but went away 4 months after I started going. Then Nisha started threading me. Now she's gone and Purvi is back. She said she's there (as of two weeks ago) Thursday's and weekends. But she wasn't sure if her schedule would change. Cindy is another good threader. The other lady, I don't know her name, is good but isn't consistent. One day she'll do my brows really nice and the next time I go they'll be noticeably different. I feel rude for avoiding her but Nisha kept my brows up and had them pretty close to identical and when I went to her I ended up with one brow thinner than the other. read more

I went in for eyebrow threading. I didn't get the lady's name, but she was very nice & efficient. She even convinced me to get my upper lip threaded (first time, and yes, it HURT!!). The place is small, clean & comfy. I usually go to another place in Cerritos, but this one is closer & I may end up going here now unless I'm out & about in/near Cerritos. read more

I'm very sad to say Dee is gone! I should have known last week when I was told they didn't know her schedule and to call back. I called today and was told she wasn't in again. Couldn't get to my normal brow place so popped in here. No wait, the lady who saw me was very nice. She asked if I need something specific or just a clean up, which i appreciated. I don't need new eyebrows! They offer witch hazel at the end of the threading, but all I really want is a brow place that will not leave hair all over my eyes and face Only cost $8! read more

I was referred to Cindy by a coworker after I had a bad experience at my regular shop. Cindy is sweet, caring and very polite!! She takes her time with each client and gives you exactly what you're looking for. I took my sister today (who is terrified of threading) and Cindy reassured her that she would be fine. She was patient and kept asking my sister if she was doing okay!! Her eyebrows came out lovely and it was more painless than before because of Cindy's gentle technique! The first time was a 4-star experience simply because she was attentive and listened to my needs. She did shape my eyebrows fairly well but didn't trim them or cut certain hairs that I asked. I went back to see if she could fix it but only made it worse. All in all, just go to Ziba down in Lakewood mall or any other place really. I called to schedule an appointment and inquire about prices, but the person who answered was very unprofessional (never even addressed herself or place of business) and I wasn't even sure I had called the right place until I asked. Came here for the first time- Dee did my eyebrows- perfect!! Love how they came out. Small nice shop, didn't have to wait at all. $8 for eyebrow and $5 for upper lip. After ten visits 11th eyebrow/upper lip is free. Will definitely come back. read more

A couple of weeks ago, I desperately needed my eyebrows threaded. I was short on time and I didn't feel like driving to my usual place in Cerritos. So, I decided to stop by Aayu Threading which is just a few blocks away from my home. The place is pretty clean and the young lady there was very nice. She asked me how I would like my eyebrows shaped (which is somewhat rare) - I told her and she did just that :) I was pretty satisfied with the end result. Not really all that painful & she clips some of the hairs at the top, which I love! It's also cool that you get an Eyebrows & Lip Special stamp card. This will definitely be one of my Go-To eyebrow threading spots -- especially when I wanna save up on gas. lol ;-) read more

I really love this place for threading... I have been to many others and have always gotten a different result: sometimes too thin, sometimes not enough shape. The first time here I told her what I liked and she did it perfectly. I have been back two times since and she does it perfect every time, and she remembers me. Plus a brow massage after is very nice. The salon might not be the fanciest or nicest, but you get a quality job for a low price. They are worth the wait if there is a line. Today I got my brows done and three people came in after me. This could have caused the lady to hurry up and rush, but instead she continued to take her time and still did the massage.
