My boyfriend went just today and just like the other bad reviews they messed up. The guy who cut my boyfriend's hair left him with a crooked hairline and the initial that was asked for was completely different and nothing like the pic my man asked him to replicate. It's understandable if you can't do what's asked for but not saying nothing about it and doing what you want/can without saying anything is the problem. Wouldn't come back nor recommend this spot to anyone unless they don't rlly care about their head and just want something rather than nothing so last resort spot basically Already spoke to someone and got offered 5$ back or a discount for next time I go for anyone out there I wouldn't go back to the same person who messed you up to begin with , it's way easier to see what's on the back of your head when you're at home able to look in your own mirror on your own time in your own space rather than being in a shop not really able to see n ect read more

I am so happy to have found a barber for both of my sons hair typed and personal preferences. When I first walked into this shop I did not have a barber for my boys but Vanessa was very welcoming. She greeted us and instantly took initiative to have one in her chair right away. She talked with my sons about what they wanted, how they like it and made sure she understood the look they were going for. I have had some pretty bad experiences in the past with my kids at barbershops, but Vanessa showed me there's still barbers out there that know what there doing and love what they do. Vanessa is AMAZING! It's been super hard to find a barber that has been able to give my 2 year old son a legit comb over and a fade. I've tried 4 other places and maybe 6 other barbers. She's the only one I've been back to see and she doesn't disappoint...in fact my sons cut seems to get better every time. She's super patient and good with my son but even better with her craft. If she can hook up my inpatient and wiggly 2 year old as awesome as she does, than you know she'll be able to hook you up easy! read more

Had a great experience at AB's on Friday. I didn't make an appointment until about 9:00 that morning. Chato was my barber and hooked me up with a great skin fade. Staff is friendly from the time you walk in, they offered me refreshments and a chair to sit while Chato finished up with his customer before me. Could have been better. It was my first time in the shop. I got appointed to a guy called Jose. I was getting bad vibes and attitude from the barber while I was trying to explain to him how I want the haircut. The cut was good except i got an obvious cricked beard line under my chin and not very clean neck. I also noticed other barbers were taking their time with their customers while my barber kept talking with his colleagues about 2 kids coming after me which made him rush. Abraham is a true professional and very knowledgeable about the art of cutting hair! His shop is truly beautiful, with some amazing seats & flooring and excellent lighting. He was able to accept me as a walk in and our conversation was intellectual and made me feel respected and cared for. He's a true barber and gave me one of the cleanest mid drop fades I've ever received, especially on such short notice. There isn't a barber shop like this anywhere in the area, so if you understand the value of a high quality cut you should check out Ab's BarberStudio 4.0! I booked an appointment with Vanessa through their website, which has the different prices listed for each barber. At the time of booking, Vanessa's price was $30 for a 45 minute appointment (it still shows $30 at the time of this review). The haircut and service were good. Shop was clean and spacious. If I was basing this review on these things alone, it would be a 4 or 5 star. However, even though the advertised price was $30, I was told the price was $45 AFTER the cut was done. I paid it, but this left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't have any problem paying $45 if that's what the price is, but it's poor practice (and deceptive) to increase the price by 50% over the advertised price AFTER the cut is done. read more

Vanessa is absolutely amazing. I brought my 18 month old to her and I was extremely impressed. She does so well with kids, my son did not fuss or cry once. My son also has a weird hair line and I was worried that there wouldn't be a haircut that would look good on him. I let Vanessa decide what she would look best for my son and it came out perfect.
