Before I called these guys, I thought having scanning done was going to be a complex task but they made it so easy. I had everything digitized from my family's old photo collection and also from my wife's family. Some of the prints date back to the 1940s. They did an astonishing job with all of my negatives, slides, and prints. They took the prints out of my old photo albums, scanned and put them back in the exact chronological order they were already in, just as though they had never been touched by anybody. Additionally, they did a great job packaging and condensing my other scanned loose prints and film into separate bags. They individually labeled each archived bag (which they provided for free) by group, indicating which digital folder names the photos were scanned into. When I received all our original photos back, they made it so I was able to put the perfectly organized boxes they provided directly into our garage, repackaged for long-term storage. Since we now have the digital scans of them, which look way better than the originals, there is no reason I can see the need to access any of the original photos or film again. However, I still don't have the heart to throw them out, so I'm glad they were able to really free up some space for me in how they returned everything. The quality of images left my whole family speechless. They images are very sharp and clean. Even displayed on my full screen tv, they look like they were taken on a high quality digital camera, if one existed decades ago. It's amazing how the color corrections (a service I added on) came out so well on my older photos. I'm seeing my childhood (that I thought took place in a red and orange world), in incredible natural but vivid color. I am very grateful for their generous and friendly customer service as well. I haven't encountered this level of customer service anywhere else in as long as I can remember. A big thanks to the whole crew over there for their excellent work digitizing my family's history. They were super close to my house, had great reviews, and were very convenient, so I decided to stop by. When I got there, I was pleasantly surprised to realize they also specialize in audio and video transfers. The timing felt almost divine because literally the day before, I had told myself that I needed to finally get some old VHS tapes transferred to digital! The entire experience was great. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and their prices were very affordable. My fingerprints were done quickly and easily, and I came back the very next day with my VHS tapes. I dropped the tapes off on a Friday, and everything was already finished and ready for me by Monday morning. The turnaround was so much faster than I expected. Such a great local business. Sounded fair to me. I paid $20 for the VHS that I was trying to have done and had ordered a VHS machine because the one that we got here at the house was looking weird like with snow running across the screen remember back in the day you used to have to adjust the tracking sometimes and then it would clear up I couldn't find that option on our machine here at the house so I ended up ordering another one and then that one arrived busted through shipping but I didn't realize it was busted until after it ate my tape and at that point my wife ordered me another VHS tape of what I wanted through eBay and I knew working in there I was going to try and get it converted over. Couple days ago I took in my tape they gave me a quote right then and there which was a little bit more than what they had told me on the phone but they told me why, my wife is telling me I call bullshit for this that or the other reason and I'm like you know what it doesn't matter if it happens and it works for that price I'm happy because trying to find places to play a VHS to do a class is what I'm trying to do a Billiards class is more difficult than with a DVD or a memory stick on a computer so it's fine. The staff there was very courteous and straight to the point. I will find out Monday if they are able to do it for me because there are some type of encoding that they put on the tapes at times and some of it is unbreakable so we will see Monday if they are able to make mine work the tape the VHS itself is about 40 years old. So that's another reason to modernize it. Anyways I would recommend this place.

What they have instead is a temp front office (no relation to the business itself) that prepares a paper invoice and have you leave your item with them. The item then gets picked up, inspected at a later date, then a quote is given to you either by phone or email. This is extremely inconvenient for the customer as there is no onsite assessment that can be done which means you're obliged to travel back and forth to a nonexistent office. It's lazy at best, unprofessional at worst. Responsiveness was hit or miss -- more often than not, my calls were not answered but I did get a call back on the same day and the man answered all my questions as patiently as he was able. However, I can't recommend this place given the concerns listed above.
