I really don't understand the point of having your business hours available on google or yelp if you're going to lie about stay open for that long. I've been here twice, once at 5:20 PM and once more at 6:33 PM. This last time I even called to confirm their hours which they agreed, stating they were open until 7 PM. 11/10 recommend coming here for your car registration needs instead of going to the DMV. They are super efficient and helpful making the registration process 100% less stressful than going into the DMV. I was in and out of there probably less than 20 minutes and they assisted me as soon as I walked it (I made an appt just in case but they take walk-ins and no where near as long as the DMV ones.) Wasted my time. I sent my vehicle registration information via email immediately after speaking to these people and per their instructions. they said they would get started immediately upon receiving the information i called to follow up the next day and left a message, called the following monday some 5 days later again. No reply fromABA once again. i wrote via email stating this was a time sensitive issue and they were not performing at all as they had described in the initial conversation. i wrote the next day to let them know I hadn't heard back and would be seeking other services to assist if they did not reply. the next day, wednesday, I wrote a final email letting them know that I would no longer be needing their (seemingly non-existant) services And hired another company (CALIFORNIA AUTO REGISTRATION SERVICE), they did a vin check during our initial phone call, and sent me all paperwork immediately after to my email address, complete contrast in performance. ABA wasted my time and would warn against using them for any registration or title needs if asked. fair warning. read more

I highly recommend for this place if you have to do the last minute thing to get your new car registration or renewal process. I had to get my new sticker for my license plate because DMV sent it to my old address and it is expiring in a few days so I searched yelp and found this place. There was 1 person before me and they helped me right away. I was able to change the address on my 2 vehicles and got the sticker from that place. The owner is the veteran of Army and really tried to help me instead of just trying to get money. I'm an international traveller, and i needed to register a van bought on craigslist. ABA was of the greatest help in this matter. Rafael gave me good advices regarding the sale transaction itself, witnessed the bill of sell signature ( made the seller more at ease, as it was not a cash transaction ) , and handled the paperwork with the dmv with great diligence. I was ready to go on the day I bought the van ! The van was an import from Canada, and the dmv wasn't able to deliver the final papers immediately, but ABA got me a temporary permit, allowing me to start my trip as scheduled. Then they sent me the final paper by overnight postal service once they were ready. They also helped me find an insurrance (not that easy for short term stays with a travelling visa only). I highly recommand this company, for people willing to avoid dealing with the dmv directly, or that have no time for it. read more

I found this place quite easily. The staff is quite friendly. They explain everything. It is WAY better than the DMV for getting your plates. I moved from out of state and this process was 20 minutes max including putting the plates on the actual car itself. Came in needing help with a registration and left needing help. The owner of this location did not help me. I repeat did not help me. He sat me down talked to me for a few minutes, then left to help another customer while " assisting " me. Then came back to " help " me for a couple minutes then left again to another customer. I purchased 2022 Porsche Taycan from a Porsche dealership in Massachusetts & it was pure HELL! On 3 separate occasions, I asked about registration & tags during this process, of which they assured me that they were handling that & it'd all be taken care of prior to shipping. Well, as you've probably guessed, car arrived (2/24/22)with no registration, no temp tag, nothing! Though, they charged me for it as part of the deal!!! So here in Los Angeles, California, I went to ABA Auto Registration - who has been doing their best to help me process this, to get the car legally registered (though I've already paid for it!!!) & they were a Godsend & such a joy to work with!!! They got on the phone with the dealership & took care of EVERYTHING for me going ABOVE & BEYOND to make sure I was taken care of & that my experience with them didn't mirror that of the dealership!!! This review is long overdue... I am so happy with the service I received at this establishment, without them I don't know how I would have ever gotten my vehicle registered and passing smog. I am new to CA and didn't really know where to start. My car was given to me by my parents and I needed to register it in my name, get CA plates and pass smog. They directed me every step of the way.. and by that I mean, they took care of it, did all the running around for me! Found me a trustworthy mechanic too! It took about a month because of some issues with my gas tank and the smog.. but I was given so much individual attention, I felt like they really cared about me and my business.
