I cannot imagine using other movers in the future, as Abba and Sons are truly the best I have experienced in Tucson. The very first time I called for a quote, they were attentive and eager to accommodate me as I explained what I would need in regards to the move. I noticed that it is difficult to reach other moving companies during business hours, but Abba and Sons always had someone available to answer their phones. The quote was fair and competitively priced--their rates are less expensive than some of the big-name moving chains, and their service is far superior! The first time I moved, the movers arrived a little later than scheduled but I spoke to the owner himself as well as the foreman who called me to let me know they were running behind. The movers showed up and were unimaginably patient, friendly, and helpful. The move was completed quickly and professionally, and I could not have been more at ease. The movers even helped by taking an old sofa to the dump for a small dump charge. I contacted Abba and Sons less than a week later as I needed their services again. They were more than willing to work around my schedule, setting up a move in the evening after I got off of work. They showed up on-the-dot; once again, the movers were friendly and professional and the move was handled very quickly and efficiently. The movers are very attentive to your needs and requests. All-in-all, Abba and Sons exceeded my expectations in a moving company. Moving can be incredibly stressful for a single woman, and it is important to have reliable, trustworthy movers who will be able to make the move as stress-free as possible. My wife and I recently found ourselves faced with the unpleasant necessity of relocating her 89 year old father to an assisted living community. The marketing director at Sierra del Sol had seen Abba & Sons bringing in the belongings of a new resident, was impressed by them, and passed their contact information on to us. We were able to schedule a move on a convenient (for us) Saturday morning. The selected furniture was moved quickly, carefully, and without any damage. The crew that day helped us keep the mood lighter than it might have been, under the circumstances, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, even as we were taking care of the move, my father-in-law passed away in the skilled nursing center where he was being treated. We found out about this upon returning home from working with the Abba & Sons crew. With everything else we were dealing with at that point, we needed to move the furnishing back out of the apartment as soon as we could. A call to Zeev resulted in that move being scheduled in just two days. The two men they sent to do the job were sensitive to our recent loss, and made this second move as painless as such can be, and once again it was done in a reasonable amount of time with no damage to a single item. I've hired Abba & Sons for three separate moves. The first time was to move my father out of his 4-bedroom home to a 2-bedroom casita in Tucson. This was a local move, but was handled perfectly by the Abba team. They came in, packed all that was being moved to the casita, and unloaded it all into the new place without any breakage, delay, or the need for any work on the part of my 90-year-old father. We were so pleased with it that we hired Abba again a few months later after my father sold his house. This time, we hired them to move some furniture, art, books, and other furnishings from Tucson to my home in Houston, Texas. Again, we were very impressed with the work and professionalism of the Tucson packing team and the drivers who delivered in Houston. We hired Abba a third time to move a couple of antique chairs from his casita, again from Tucson to Houston. On the day of their arrival, we were traveling and did not land back in Houston until around 8:00 pm. The Abba driver waited for us until we got back to our house at 9:15. He had already completely unpacked the chairs and they were ready to place into our home. I had Abba & Sons both pack up and move my entire 5 bedroom house. I had gotten 3 other quotes and not only were they below the others, I was impressed by the fact that Zeev offered to donate anything that I didn't want to the local women and children s shelter. Although it is never easy to watch as people are packing up your house, his guys did it with a sense of humor and ease. Then they came back the next day and moved 3 trucks full of furniture and boxes in one day! Everything was properly assembled and well cushioned. Zeev and his guys used a map and packing system so they knew where to un-pack everything and what belonged where. I have never seen a moving company use this color coding method before and it seemed to save a lot of time. After all was said and done, there was a missing nightstand to my guest room furniture. They checked the trucks and houses and could not find it anywhere. Zeev offered to replace it with his own nightstand. I was skeptical that it would match but low and behold it matched exactly! It was like it was meant to be a set! One more positive about this company- they actually come and pick the boxes up when you're done with them! It doesn't get any better than that! read more

I set up a move with Abba & Sons Moving that was a bit complicated as it involved moving furniture from two places and consolidating them onto a U-Haul truck that was driving in to Tucson from the Willcox area. Somehow, communications broke down because my phone number had been recorded with an incorrect digit. Fortunately, I called them. Initially it looked like all of my coordination was going to fall apart. I was imagining the scathing online review that I would post. But, Abba & Sons managed to wrap up another small job and get that team to my place. They were so efficient once they arrived, that despite starting an hour late, we had to wait for the U-Haul from Willcox to arrive at a Tucson storage facility where all of the furniture was to be consolidated. So, I'm pleased to write a very positive review. The owner even drove to my house to check up on his team. He was deeply concerned to make me whole and to restore his reputation. The mover guys I scheduled did not show up and did not answer my calls... After waiting for them almost 3 hours, I decided to find another mover ... Due to my schedule and plans, I really need to move to my new place on that day.. so I called other movers and asked if they still have an open slot to move my apt on the same day I called. Not very successful.... which is totally understandable and expectable..... Until Abba & Sons Moving answered my call promptly and is willing to helping me to move to my new apt even in the late afternoon.. after I told them my situation.. I recently had an extremely challenging and complex move with antiques and large artwork from my home. Abba & Sons Movers were an absolutely great experience! From the minute I called the staff they were friendly, helpful and worked with me on several schedule changes always being happy to accommodate my needs. They were punctual and went "over and above" expectations. Ze'ev and his crew recently moved me and my car from Tucson to CT. When I moved to Arizona, the process took 10 days as my stuff was put in a warehouse to wait for enough loads to fill a tractor trailer. For this reason, I was determined to find a local mover. Ze'ev was responsive and helpful from the start. He answered questions promptly, brought boxes and packing equipment when I needed it, and checked in on me to see how I was doing. We were moving from a second-floor condo to a new house about 30 minutes away, and decided to use Abba and Sons for the move. They were very prompt, and arrived early in the morning at the time they said they would be there. We had 2 guys who took apart all of our furniture, and loaded up the truck. They were diligent workers, and were constantly moving to get the packing up done. When we arrived at the new house, they unloaded all of the boxes into the rooms as directed, and rebuilt all of the furniture. It was a long move, but having Abba and Sons made it a lot less stressful and easier on us during the move. We will definitely go with them again when we have our next move. read more

Abba and sons has moved us twice. Professional and pleasant movers (Shannon is a gentleman and hard worker). Despite covers for everything, my glass top patio table was broken during this last move. The owner, Zeev, honored his commitment to replace anything that is broken. Their delightful Office Manager, Missy, worked tirelessly to help me receive a new patio table. Would use again! I am very picky about my stuff ( who isn't) And abba and sons did a great job showing care and respect for my stuff. I read all the reviews and agree they may not be as fast as other companies they were careful and helped put things together, and took the time needed the move properly. I never once felt I didn't get my money's worth. I actually moved with my 3 children (6months, 2yr, 7) and I wasn't stressed out! Shocking for me but I often found myself relaxing and playing with the baby while they did everything . I didn't have to micro manage like In past moving situations. Great company! read more
