We had THE BEST experience throughout the planning process with Chris, from our first conversation all the way to the end of our wedding. Chris was extremely responsive, kind, and fun to work with. Music is really important to us, so we provided a very extensive list of songs we wanted him to play (probably 4+ hours worth of music, haha). He played these songs and other songs that fit into the entire vibe of our wedding day. There was no song that we didn't love and we had many guests come up to us, complimenting him. Chris was a thoughtful and smooth MC, making sure the day was about us. He also cut two songs we wanted for our first dance since he also produces his own music, which was awesome. Also, Chris had everything he needed to set up his own DJ booth and lighting (which we didn't know if we wanted/needed, but ultimately loved!!). He was very professional and experienced. We hired Abbate entertainment for our wedding at Laurel Ridge in NC on July 9th. DJ Chris Abbate was amazing to work with. We met with him on zoom a couple times before our wedding to discuss our songs, wants, and needs for the wedding and he went above and beyond expectations. He suggested ways to add to our entrance with our bridal party and even coordinated with them all what to do for the entrance, brought lights to make the dance floor and overall atmosphere look even better, and was so friendly and easy to work with. Excellent! I hired Abbate for my daughters Sweet 16th Birthday Party. It was a backyard BBQ/pool Party. I booked Abbate literally a few days before the party. Chris was great. So accommodating and very professional. I sent him a few screen shots of my daughters playlist which he incorporated into music that both teens and adults would like. He showed up early to set up, had music playing as guests arrived and made announcements as needed. He also has an app where guests can make requests thru the app. His music selections were perfect. So glad we found Chris for my daughter's Sweet 16! We were pretty adamant that we didn't want a wedding vibe at the party and Chris was one of the few (possibly the only one) that mentioned his experience in teen events. He was super easy to work with and his price was beyond reasonable in my opinion! Chris was very accessible and accommodating leading up to the event. I asked about lighting and he said he could provide that too! The day of the event he showed up on time, set up and had everything going in no time. Once the event started, the kids were slow to the dance floor, but after a little mingling time, Chris has them out there dancing non stop until the end of the night. One of my best memories of the night was as each song died down, the crowd noise would kind of wind down, and then Chris would play the next song and the kids would scream and go crazy again.
