From start to finish, Brady was great to work with and very accommodating with our tear out and installation.

We had a very disappointing experience with S&G Carpet…read more The initial installation was extremely poor, staples and nails and screws were left exposed on the carpet and also thrown on the floor (a safety hazard, especially with small children), debris wasn't cleaned up, and there was even a spill that was not disclosed until we pointed it out. The carpet also had to be redone due to workmanship issues, requiring multiple return visits and extending what should have been a straightforward project into several days. (Install was Monday and was finally properly completed on Thursday) While the company eventually sent a different installer to correct the work (2 more times), the process to get there was frustrating. Communication from management was argumentative and combative at times, to the point that I did not feel comfortable meeting alone and asked my husband to be present. The tone of the interaction was noticeably different in person. We ultimately reached a resolution, but it took far more effort than it should have. After spending nearly $8,000, the level of workmanship, professionalism, and overall experience simply did not reflect the value we were promised. I would strongly recommend closely monitoring any work done and documenting everything if you choose to use this company.

We were not given different options for install and we don't have plywood subflooring anywhere in our house. We're on a concrete slab. The flooring was floated over our old laminate, which was on the concrete slab with a vapor barrier. There was a dip between the dining room and kitchen they didn't realize needed leveled until they began removing flooring. Pic included. Jeremy was not present and the workers had to leave to get concrete so they could at least finish. My child's toy was the equivalent to a baby walker. If that voids a warranty then that needs to be mentioned at the time of purchase. No parent would purchase flooring like that. As for not being heard, of course I wasn't. The entire conversation consisted of being yelled at and spoken through. As for the crew, I called Carrie the same day and had to let her know I was uncomfortable in my home. When you spoke to my husband, you brought up them trashing my driveway and how I complained about it. You said the crew apologized. I sent texts and videos of all of the dust in the house, and how they used my dining table as a work bench. It's unfortunate. We also consider the matter resolved and will be using a different company for the repairs. Our project was rushed on Saturday after we said we could do it another day, and already being postponed. We opted to go ahead with the Saturday to accommodate Webbs busy schedule. Workers arrived angry, rushed the job, and trashed my driveway. DO NOT USE THEM. I was told my babies ride on toy voided my warranty. They used power tools in the house, dust was so bad I had to hire a cleaning company and have HVAC come out to inspect our AC system. After calling twice about my concerns with the floors bending, coming apart and breaking, I was told by Jeremy it was us "choosing a cheaper option" that caused it. We were not given any other options, and when I tried to speak up and defend that, I was yelled at, talked over and hung up on. He flat refused to hear anything. When I asked for proof that I opted out of other options, the yelling just continued. The "foreman" of the crew yelled at me in my home because he was mad about not being told about the need for leveling, and now he'd have to go get concrete. I contacted Carrie the same day this was happening and had to let her know what was going on, because at that point I was uncomfortable in my own house. (Luckily I still have all the texts and pictures.) From the bottom of my heart, spend your hard earned money on a business that deserves it. Any concerns you have will NOT be handled. And if you do happen to use them, get every single thing in writing and save EVERYTHING.

We found the floor, got an estimate, and set it up in Dec. 2024. Paid for all the materials. The bill was split in two for insurance purposes. The floors were supposed to be done in sections ie the bedrooms, then the kitchen/living room, laundry etc. I paid extra for them to scrape any high spots we missed and to pull up a small area of tile by the fireplace. The bedrooms were done, the hallway was completed (there was a low spot and was supposed to be leveled (it wasn't), the hallway had some high spots that were supposed to be leveled or scraped off (they weren't), they ran out of materials so they stopped due to it being Christmas eve the next day. We had moved the fridge, washer/dryer, and a freezer out of the way. Had to move them back since they told us it would be after New Year's for them to finish. They came back several days after, they finished the kitchen, mudd room, and living room. They did not do the stairs (we have two rounded) the right way, and didn't finish with the trim, on the step or stairs, a spot in the closest, (they put a hole in the new wall, which I repaired), and the head guy came and said it needed to be fixed. Said they had to order the stair part, but they never came back. In March we were sent to collections because they thought the job was done and we owed money. They fixed that, we do owe the rest of the job, but they have not come back. The stairs will have to be redone because they cut the top too short and the risers are too high. A piece is broken, and the hallway moves considerable. It was sent to scheduling after I called, emailed, went to the store, and pretty much have been lied to about them coming to finish and fix the floors. I have called, left messages, talked to financing, scheduling and no one seems to have an answer. So, do I recommend them. NO! the floors look nice, but I can't finish my trim, painting, or walls until these are finished. I'm looking into litigation to have this finished. This place has terrible communication, they lie, and they said they have the best installers, ummm nope not true. Hopefully, my floors will get done. Rogers, AR

Others carpet stores wouldn't come that far. We also live in a historic home, on the historic loop, and our carpet needs were much different than the usual customer. I explained this to Rob, Blinn, the owner, and he worked with me to find a carpet that I was thrilled with. We were looking for something that had a vintage look about it, like it may have been in a Victorian hotel in the early 1900s. This was very hard to find, but he worked with us. We couldn't be happier. His carpet layers were professional, paid attention to details, and worked very hard. Our home was built in 1904, and there were imperfections in the subfloor from settling/additions in the past. His crew were able to camouflage these imperfections well. Carpet One, came and saw the same imperfections, and said we would have to hire a carpenter to fix that before they would work on it. This would have been another expense, and more time waiting, which we didn't want. The carpet layers were able to handle the situation well. The imperfection area is in the photos, and it is almost impossible to tell where it is! I highly recommend this company to install flooring for you. Rob came out in the morning when the carpet layers arrived, and he was in contact with us during the installation to see if we were satisfied. He also contacted us at the end of the job to make sure we were satisfied. Though we had no problems, I had the feeling that IF we did, he would have dealt with them right away. The prices were fair. We feel very satisfied, and feel that hiring this team, was the best decision for getting quality carpeting in our historic home. Starting at the foyer, they installed carpeting up the first floor stairs, the second floor landings and hallway, and all the way up to the third floor, and the third floor landing.
