First off, the customer service is off the charts. Both from the people in the office and the installers. Very helpful, accomodating and frinedly. From the first visit, to the measuring and installation, one of the best customer service experiences. I will say that I didn't really price check so not sure how they compare to other places around town but it was good pricing to where i didn't feel the need to check. Their scheduling was quick as well which made it a good choice. They don't have a ton of in stock options but ordering is quick and easy. Originally i had a week wait but after ordering the flooring we wanted we got pushed to about 3 weeks out. Luckily their team finished their big jobs early and they were able to get me within a week. Our laundry room flooded and we had to replace the baseboards and new vinyl flooring. Some of the wooden floor also got damaged so we had to fix a portion of it. All in all it would've been a days work but we had a hiccup with the baseboard not being delivered. Luckily they managed to get them the following day and the guys came back and finished the work. Originally i was going to leave 4.5 star review but they also installed the door trims which they did not have to do and so i feel overall it was a great experience. I will say that their guys aren't the quickest but they are very detailed oriented. They do the work right and take their time to make sure it's done properly. Very happy with the whole experience and to have our laundry room and hallway back together. If you're looking for flooring and great work, this is the place. PS: if you notice the paint is chipped off or the baseboards don't line up, we had wood flooring in the hallway and now vinyl so the height is off but we chose to do that and paint later. they did a wonderful job transitioning in the corners so that it doesn't look offset. read more

If you'd like more detail, I'm your huckleberry ... read on;-) The owner, Johanne, is amazing! Very knowledgeable, professional, and so helpful -- always promptly getting back with me on all my MANY questions!! Her son is also very knowledgeable and helpful! Their installers were "THE BEST"!! We have pets so we needed to do this project in two phases, which they were happy to do for us. They stuck to our installation dates and even finished a day early. I do try to keep my perfectionism under control, but when asked, the installers (Saul and Luis) were very accommodating to all my requests -- thank you so much!! Their work ethics, and very demanding physical labor, is greatly appreciated ... moving furniture & toilets and putting them back, ripping out old carpet/linoleum, leveling concrete sub-floor, installing new baseboards, caulking, precisely cutting and perfectly aligning/installing laminate/LVT/baseboards, and cleaned up everyday before they left. We made sure to offer them snacks & drinks and they did such an amazing job we chose to give them bonuses (they don't expect this, but we felt it was the right thing to do for all their efforts). The products are top quality, beautiful, and have great warranties. They let me take home many samples before choosing the perfect laminate and LVT flooring -- which turned out to be Johanne's initial recommendations:-) We love waking up every morning to our new beautiful flooring!! FYI ... the baseboards must be touched up and painted separately from installation. Johanne suggested the baseboards be delivered to our home so they could be pre-painted prior to installation, which was a great recommendation! You could hire someone to paint them but if you do it yourself -- WARNING-- they are 16 FEET long ... so make sure you have room, use vertical space to dry/cure them (see photo), and watch a lot of YouTube videos on how to get a professional finish. I would also recommend getting the "unprimed" wood baseboards and prime them yourself. That way you don't have to sand out any imperfections in manufacturer's pre-primed baseboards. An added bonus is that it makes us feel good that we're supporting a female Veteran family owned business too! It took about a day for our cats to get used to switching from running around on our old carpet to using the new laminate flooring as a very cool "Slip 'N Slide" -- so funny!! They were great! We called them to redo the flooring for our whole downstairs. Within a week they had come to our house to measure the square footage, and we had an appointment in their showroom to pick our floors. Gerri was our Sales Person and was great. She walked us around the showroom and talked us through samples, and helped guide us on choices. They gave us a great price on the flooring, and knowing that we wanted a fast turn around, got installation scheduled quickly. The guys installing were great. They showed up on time at 9 each day and got our whole downstairs done in 2 days, including moving furniture, ripping up old flooring, and installing the new one. Pictures show the before and after. After getting burned by a different carpet company less than 2 years ago, I needed to get new carpet put into my vacation rental. I was able to get what I needed installed within a few days at a price I had been able to anticipate ahead of time. I had first checked out a certain big-box home repair store up the street and they charged for moving furniture, charged for removing old carpet, charged a lot for the padding, charged for putting in new tack strips AND - the thing that really bothered me - they take measurements and send them off to some unnamed central office out of state that uses an "algorithm" to determine how much carpet I'll need to purchase. That algorithm automatically adds 10% to the measured square footage. They won't explain how they arrive at their final determination. Screw that! I walked into Abbey Carpet and was immediately greeted by the nicest salesman, who let me draw out my room on paper and was able to give me a quote based on my own measurements. He calculated the footage needed in front of me and his process was exactly as I had expected and his numbers were actually a little lower than my own. When he came to my house to measure the rooms, his measurements were spot on my own. The price was all inclusive for padding, hauling, everything and it came in lower than the big discount place I mentioned above. The install guys were really nice and did a great install job, replaced all of my bigger furniture, and cleaned the place up well. I doubt that I will ever go anywhere else for my carpet needs in the future. read more
