David just did a knock out job on our wood floors! Really appreciate how prompt & professional he was with everything related to our appointment. We had two large scratches in our floor that needed some TLC. Dave came to the rescue & was able to fill the wood & match the wood grain also! We didn't have any older wood to replace the scratches so the other option we were given (which actually worked out better ") was to fill the wood & match the grain tone. We had Pinegar flooring replace all the flooring in our house except for the bathrooms and laundry rooms. This is the kind of company that you usually only find through word of mouth, but thankfully we found them on Yelp. Not only did they have to do the whole house, but they did it while my kids and I were home. The guys were super professional, friendly, hard-working (!!!!!), and thorough (and patient with us, though we did our best to stay out of the way). When we had a change of plans with the baseboard, they did a really solid job of explaining our options, and I felt really good about what we ended up going with. They also did a great job of explaining how we need to care for our new floors, how to take care when moving heavy things like appliances. I already felt like Dave was a pretty trustworthy guy after our first meeting, and that proved to be true right up until they walked out my front door when the job was done - and I felt that way about the rest of the crew, as well. We hired Pinegar Flooring to remove our carpet and install hardwood floor through the entire house. About 1400 sq./ft on two floors. They also remove the baseboard and put them back after the wood floor install. David was very nice and professional. We needed a week off in between the two floors in order to move everything back from one floor to the other, and David had no problem with our request. The job done was very nice. Great fit and finish. For example, the limestone fireplace hearth is at a 45 degree angle, and all the planks fit perfectly. The bid was not the cheapest but well worth the quality of the job. read more

David Pinegar has completed 5 seperate flooring jobs for us over the years. His work is excellent, and just as importantly, his communication skills and level of care are also. He installed linoleum tiles in our shop and barn, hardwood flooring in our old house (2 seperate instances), and did a repair job on the flooring in our new home, located 2 hours away. When he ran up against bad materials he immediately brought it to our attention, then dealt with the suppliers to get the bad stuff returned and new material delivered at no extra cost.
