This was my first visit. Macy helped me. I bought a iced coffee was totally delicious. I purchased 4 cupcakes to go. I love how Abby Girl packs the cupcakes in individual plastic containers so the icing and decorative features do not get destroyed. They have a few tables if you want to eat and have coffee there. Prices are very reasonable. I do not remember ever seeing so many choices of cupcakes. My iced coffee was refreshing and delicious. Price is lower than Starbucks and better in my humble opinion. This is definitely the place to buy cupcakes for any birthday or special celebration. They are so moist they melt in your mouth. The icing is as good as my Grandma used to make. Macy made my visit perfect. She explained the flavor of cupcakes and answered questions politely with a smile. I absolutely recommend Abby Girl Sweets. Briefly stopped here prior to going to Jungle Jim's next door since I wanted to try out some of their fall flavor drinks. They had a great variety of stuff and a fair price thankfully there is no line here at all. One lady was working that day but she was very friendly and me and my quick and Swift. Store is very clean and woke up there are no lines here at all it is a complete Ghost Town which makes service here a breeze. Great variety of snacks and other Munchies to go. read more

Abby girl sweets is a Cincinnati cupcake and coffee establishment that I noticed a handful of when on a weekend getaway from Louisville with my family. It kinda caught my oldest daughter attention because her best friend name is Abby and people legit call her "Abby girl". We was checking out the popular tourist/functional jungle jim grocery store when we seen this particular location so we decided we had to stop in. They had a store walk oil stand or you can walk back outside and use a private entrance to dine in. We decided to dine in. Upon walking in its relatively small and cozy. A few tables and a nice fireplace area. They had restrooms that was closed off that said "staff only use jungle Jim's". To me that's kinda garbage. If someone is a paying customer why inconvenience them and make them walk outside and through a grocery store to use a different one. Just bad service on that end if you ask me. Anyways, we all decided we wanted a treat and a drink. I personally got a chocolate cupcake and a specialty drink they called a Abby girl mocha. The cupcake was smallish and was devoured long before i got my drink. It was solid. Nothing spectacular. For a place that looks like they pride themselves on specializing cupcake I expected more. My drink was really good though. So props on that. It was basically a. Hot chocolate with some different spices. Between the rest of my family they got different flavor cupcakes from carrot cake to sugar baby. We all agreed. They was just ok. One of my younger daughters didn't like there's at all but for the most part we all thought it was solid. The drinks were mainly hot chocolates with the exception of my oldest daughter who also got a Abby girl mocha except she got hers frozen where mine was hot. All of us enjoyed our drinks. Service was a tad bit slow and the worker seemed like she rather not be there. Not very kind or warm. Pricing was a tad bit on high side. But not outrageous. You would hope for larger cupcakes but we all know that's not how dessert shops always work. Overall, solid place that I would recommended the speciality drinks over the cupcakes. Abby Girl has great coffee and good service. Hubby and I stop to grab a couple of coffees every time we shop at Jungle Jim's. We haven't tried their baked goods due to sugar/health issues, but we certainly enjoy their coffee! Be aware that there are two entrances. The outside entrance leads into a dining area where you can be seated. It does not have access into JJ's. The inside entrance (inside the doors of Jungle Jim's) does not allow you access to the dining area. read more

Delectable cupcakes!! Abby girl, you really have five star cupcakes here!! Very creative with flavors that which satisfies the most finicky eater!! I absolutely enjoyed the Key-lime Cheesecake! The cheesecake was perfect and the key lime icing so tangy which balanced so nicely. I managed to surreptitiously taste the other cupcakes before anyone entered the kitchen! They were all so moist, with a delicate whipped frosting and have the perfect balance of sweetness! All are so wonderfully decorated! If I could sum it up in one word it would be.....pleasurable! Today was the 10 year anniversary of Abby Girl SWeeTs! I was lucky to come in today, as they were giving a free cupcake to each customer. I'm just moving into the Cincinnati area, and the area I am going to move to needs to have a few requirements, a Chick-Fil-A, a great butcher shop, a place to get good pizza, a hometown coffeEshop, and a place to satisfy my sweet tooth. Abby Girl Sweets is now my go to sweet shop and coffee house!! I had two cupcakes, a shortbread and a red velvet. Red velvet is my favorite go to cake. And the red velvet cake was delicious. They put the perfect amount of cheese cream icing on a perfectly moist cupcake. The shortbread cupcake, well, let me just say, I loved this cupcake. It's got almond flavor in it, like wedding cake does, except this cupcake was better than any wedding cake I've ever eaten. I plan on coming back and trying every flavor. The coffee was excellent also. No bitter taste. I got decaf, since it was alMost 8pm, and they make it fresh, not sittiNg in a pot for hours. Tomorrow I'm coming back to get a mocha, and more cupcakes. Maybe I better find a good gym to, because I'll be eating a lot of cupcakes!! The owner's and their kids were here too. We found this place through a google search trying to find a dessert treat place in Cincinnati because we were craving desserts. I was floored when I finally got to try their cupcakes, shake, and their Italian ice. I am a dessert sweet loving person and man this place hit the spot. Every penny that was used to buy my treats here was completely worth it. Didn't waste any time eating the cupcakes and the rest of the goodies. I was so thrilled with how everything tasted. This place even tasted way better than Gigi cupcakes here in Columbus and that says something. I can see why this place won best in Cincinnati for as many years as it has. My boyfriend loved his desserts too. He loved how flavorful the cheesecake and the shake tasted. He says the cheesecake was more flavorful than the Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes he's tried. He has a very sensitive taste bud pallet. We were just so impressed by this place and the people and the just desserts. Absolutely loved my first visit to Abby Girl Sweets. It was a comfortable environment and they have a very welcoming staff. My boyfriend, best friend, and I will definitely all be returning. Our drinks were all amazing (hot, cold, and frozen) I have found so many times before that a coffee shop is either good at hot or cold & frozen, but Abby Girl is amazing at ALL 3! They are not so pricy when you compare to a cake from a bakery shop, plus, you can get the number of servings you need without left overs to cart around and pitch in a few days. Walked in to see what kind of coffee they have and decided to try the white mocha. I'm not much of a coffee expert, I just like it sweeter than tart and use almond milk rather than regular milk. It's not so I got it blended. The manager(?) recommended a hot hot to be added to improve the flavor and I'll have to agree. Very tasty. Reasonable priced. Next time i will have to try the cupcakes. When I saw that they had an option to cut off the bottom of a cheesecake and make it into a milkshake and the rest on the top of the drink, I was sold. I am actually visiting Ohio from NJ and have spent the past couple days looking for a good cheesecake spot and haven't found one. From the moment that I came into this place, unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience because their shop smelled like a sewer. I'm not sure if it was ONLY THAT particular day that they were having issues but the staff certainly didn't say anything about it, as if that was normal. But to get to the actual tasting of the food (which if it was amazing I could have overlooked the rest). My milkshake cheesecake was definitely not what was advertised. The whole cheesecake was used to make the milkshake and there wasn't anything on top besides a glob of green icing. I spoke to the staff regarding my concern and he said unfortunately the cheesecake was made incorrectly (as if that was my problem) and that I would be tasting pieces of the cheesecake throughout the milkshake. However, that was NOT what I paid for. So unfortunately this shop did NOT live up to my expectations and it's ratings.
