Although I've been to the location in Eastgate, I prefer going to the smaller location in Fairfax as it's on my way to work. I love the selection of bagels there. They also have great seasonal coffee flavors and drinks. I like this location as they have a drive thru. The bagel chips are always tasty and you can buy day old bagels there too. Friendly service. I had lunch here with my daughter on Sunday. It was really busy but luckily we were able to find a table. The line move quickly, despite how long it was when we got there. They have a variety of bagel sandwiches and wraps. They also have soups and breakfast sandwiches. I ordered the Everything Sandwich on an Everything Bagel. My daughter ordered the Roast Beef Philly on a Cheddar Bagel. Both came with a bag of kettle chips. Both sandwiches were very good! Both having tried each others - we both thought that mine tasted better but the Roast Beef Philly is pretty good too. The service was very friendly and quick. I also bought a bag of their bagel chips. So good!! The best bagel chips I've had in awhile. They're crispy without being too hard. Seasoned well without being overly salty. Delicious! I've always loved this place but bagels are more of an indulgence for me. The Buffalo chicken sandwich bagel is delicious! You get a side of bagel chips with blue cheese or ranch. So good. I have been a customer since Everything Bagels in Eastgate opened with the original owner. Over the years, our family has loved this place, but we have been growing more and more disappointed. Most concerning is the inconsistency with the type of meat used in the sandwiches. Sometimes it's deli-style meat, but often it is processed meat that looks thin, wet, and something that resembles Oscar-Mayer pre-packaged lunch meat. Additionally, the drink selections have diminished. There used to be a tea dispenser that had raspberry tea, sweet tea, unsweetened, etc. It was a draw and provided a healthier option than the fountain drinks or the bottled options. Also, running out of bagels early happens frequently. The store has even closed its doors early because they run out. This is a great concept and it is a hit or miss positive experience. We love the bagels when they have our favorites and we are considering just buying them and making our own sandwiches. Finally, the eat-in option is extremely loud on a busy day. Don't sit anywhere near the door on a freezing cold day. read more

I came here to try a bagel sandwich. I don't eat bagels too often because they are super filling to me, but every once in a while I have a craving! While this place is right in the thick of all the Eastgate craziness, it is set back a little in a small plaza and could easily be overlooked. I was surprised once I found it that it was right there! Plenty of parking and easy access. I was even more surprised walking in to see how bright and spacious it was! It is very evident their strong support for the police, fire, and veterans. They had a veterans table of honor in the corner, which I had never seen in person and it almost made me cry. If you do not know what this is, definitely google it! I was greeted right away by a nice man. I told him I had never been there before and took a minute to look at the menu. I told him the two sandwiches I was trying to decide between and he recommended the Buffalo Chicken bagel. It comes with a side and I opted for the bagel chips. I Mean when in Rome why not completely bagel it up? I also grabbed one of their Danishes as id heard they were phenomenal. They had a ton of bagel varieties, some soups, and sandwiches. Very nice menu. There was a ton of tables in the dining area, however they were not 6ft apart, so I opted to do take out instead. MY sandwich was amazing, the tender chicken, flavorful sauce, perfectly chewy bagel, stringy cheese, omg I ate the whole thing on the spot. NASTY NASTY NASTY OWNER!!! I called an order in and picked it up with four cream cheese At $4.95 each. I spoke the owner Lori on Monday and apologized for my delay in contacting her. But we were on the lake and didn't even notice that the cream cheese was not in the bag. My husband said that was all they gave him was the two bags. Someone had to see the cream cheese sitting there not pick up. But the owner Lori (KAREN) said it just too bad! She has a policy that states you must call in within 24 hours of a problem. We were nearly an hour away. Not like we were going to go back and pick it up! Didn't even notice that it was not there until after they were closed. And they were for Sunday Breakfast. On Saturday, Noticed it was missing! Forgot about it on Sunday as we had a large group of people with us! Called in Monday and she said its her policy and she owns the business. I asked if this policy was posted somewhere and she got even MORE Nasty saying she doesn't have to post it and do I need to see her employee manual for her employees PTO. I said this has nothing to do with your employees. If It was left behind someone knew about it! MS. KAREN MANAGER! She stated well some people ruin it for everyone by complaining to get free food. Perhaps the complaints are valid or why would you need a no refunds policy! Some people have lives KAREN and its not working at a bagel store!!! I explained this was not my case as I ordered and paid for 18 bagels and 4 cream cheese . I will never go back!!!! I understand that your a small business but WOW! KAREN your need to post your policy! I told her to buy a stamp and stamp it on the bag I have NEVER complained. All of your customers shouldn't be punished for a few that likely had a problem with the order poor food quality! I said I will just leave a review and she got all KAREN saying you would do that! I didn't complain when I got hair in my sandwich in the past. The place is dirty and they employees dont have hair pulled up or hats ! DISGUSTING! This Lady needs some manners! Maybe don't do a bagel store if you cant handle customers. Perhaps you would have been suited more for a different business! Because its a small business. True NY bagels? Perhaps not, but a darn good substitute on the east side of Cincinnati. There was a long line on Saturday morning when I went to pick up coffee and bagels, and it doesn't move particularly fast. The restaurant itself is noisy, and you have to wait for your food--which means the staff are constantly shouting names to be heard over the guests. Not a place I'd like to linger, to be honest, so for me a carry-out order is the way to go. After waiting about 15 minutes, I finally placed my order for two cappuccinos, a bacon-egg-and-cheese sandwich, and a lox on everything. The coffee was made quickly and they helpfully put the two cups in a drink carrier for me. But then I waited, standing there awkwardly, for at least 10 more minutes for the sandwiches. It's not too bad because they'll bring the food to your table if you dine in, but there's still not a huge space to wait for your to-go order. When I finally got the bagels, I happily exited and headed home. The sandwiches were both great, with generous amounts of filling and still warm from the toaster. I would say the bagel itself doesn't have quite the same amount of chew as what you might get on the east coast, but once stuffed full of lox and cream cheese I really didn't care too much. The lox sandwich comes with bagel chips, which are really like big croutons because they're sliced so thick. Not exactly something I'd eat for a snack, but absolutely something I'd save to break apart over a salad later. The egg on the breakfast sandwich looked freshly scrambled and tasted good too. Cappuccinos were hot and strong. The website says they are working on online ordering, which I think would really improve the to-go experience. Looking forward to it because I fully intend to come back here the next time a bagel craving strikes. read more

Have only been here once for bagels (very recently). Got in right before closing. Bagels tasted OK and weren't much different than Kroger bagels. They cost about 1 dollar each. I only saw a few varieties but it was late. The employees were very friendly. They had many bagels for sale that were the previous days bagels but you had to buy between 6 and 12 of the same flavor. They also make sandwiches but didn't experience that. They close at 3PM on Saturday. I do put their bagels above Bruegger or Panera by a mile. However, they are nowhere close to New York or Cleveland bagels (understanding that quality changes everywhere). Worth a visit. If you are eating breakfast in the morning and want coffee and a bagel sandwich, this is probably the best option in Eastgate. read more

I used to live about 3 minutes from Everything Bagel, and I was a "frequent flyer" for Sunday morning brunch bagels and cream cheese, breakfast sandwiches with my co-workers, and lunch with my husband. I'm a sucker for their everything and salt bagels! The French Melt (sausage, egg and cheese on a French Toast bagel YUM) is my go-to breakfast sandwich. And their Reuben on an everything bagel is SUBLIME...I'm drooling writing this review. Now that I live about 35 minutes away (and no longer work in the area), I have to make my visits count by stocking up the freezer. Bottom line, I love supporting non-chain restaurants, especially those that in turn support the community they are a part of. Best bagels in Cincinnati. Great sandwiches, great service, fantastic people! Just be a little careful if you get a breakfast sandwich with sausage as they can be really, really...extremely hot. I open mine carefully and let it cool down for 2-3 minutes before taking a bite; yes they are that hot. I've lived in the area for 20-years and this is my favorite place in all of Eastgate. Good atmosphere. Great place to hangout though it can get noisy but the level becomes white noise. I hear everything and get distracted extremely easily and I like it here. Bagels are chewy and better than east coast bagels, imho. Pastries are great, too. read more
