Locals jamming, local artists, pool, shuffle board, amazing bartenders; this place has it all. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Not everybody realizes that the Brewhouse has added good menu items recently, especially pizza! Also, they now have live music during their Friday Happy Hours, which makes it the best Happy Hour in Lake Park in my book! They're celebrating their 10th Anniversary soon, and bringing back a lot of the live music acts that played during their first year which is a pretty cool idea. read more

I am giving a one star because the beer was OK. Otherwise from that, I went there with intentions of have some beers and an appetizer. I got 10 wings which was a decent price, I told the bartender I wanted it well done crispy, she said no problem. When they came they were not well done and they smelled weird. I told the bartender that it was not well done and did not taste right and they said they would cook it more. When they brought it back, It was still not well done and now that it was reheated I realized it was old smelly wings. I told the bartender about the issue and she said she would tell her manager. I them drank the rest of my beer and asked for my check and of course they still charged me for the worst wings ever. I would never go back there!! First and last time there!! read more

They have regular musicians many days, some that return monthly for the regulars to enjoy. Dancing, trivia, and open mic other nights. Amazing music venue. Above average brew pub. Food is their weakest link. They have a small menu of lamentably reheatable bar grub, and a menu for the place at the other end of their strip mall that is better bar food, but nothing to write home about either. They offer a range of craft beers, that are very good, not wows. When Funky Buddha opened its brewery, that was a wow. The beer flight sampler, here, was workmanlike, not wonderful. The music venue is wonderful! Big, fun, with lots of local eclectic art for sale on the walls, and photos of local musicians past making local history. That's the sad part. People come, and not everyone eats or drinks. The venue isn't making nearly that much off of its strengths. Food is a big cash generator. Table service wait staff keep profit up. With no one asking folks to order, during the live music sets, it's lost money. Parking is excellent. The experience is worth coming for. Eat before you go, though. For drinks, not much here, even if you love beer. read more

What an funky gallery! One side holds the brews and the other is the arts. We were the only ones there when we went since it was 1 o' clock on a Saturday. It was actually kind of nice to have the place to ourselves and have lovely conversations with the bartender. She said that it starts getting busy around the 4 o' clock hour most days. There are several long picnic tables and various games such as board and arcade to play. The selection is HUGE when it comes to the craft beers and wine. We got a flight of beers and all of them were good. They were Saugatuck Blueberry Lemonade Shandy, Pair O Dice Lucky Lucy Strawberry, Cider Boys Grand Mimosa, Funky Buddha Butta' Cup, and the last two were Finn and Boar, which I can't remember where they came from. My favorite was the grand mimosa. The Cider Boys are definitely my new top pick for a brewery as of now :) I happen to step over into the art side for a little bit and there's a different atmosphere to it. Local performers have a stage to perform on as well as browsing the kick ass art work by local artists. You can even sip on coffee if beer isn't your thing. They offer night time events such as painting classes, poetry readings, music performances, and other special events. It would be cool to come back and check out one of the events they have going on in the future. If this place wasn't a hike, I could see myself here every weekend chilling out without a care in the world. It's definitely worth checking out if you are in the Lake Park area looking for a nice cold one or five. read more

Having been to this place a number of times, The Brewhouse Gallery is a great place to enjoy really good craft beer from all over the country in a very artsy, funky, laid back setting. Located in Lake Park, in between The Kelsey Theater and the newly-opened Brick & Barrels, TBG consists of two retail spaces, where they fuse the community art gallery concept with a biergarten together to create a sweet hot spot for hanging out with friends and more. The biergarten area serves both wine and craft beer with communal picnic tables, a shuffleboard table stretching along one of the walls across from the tap station counter and beer fridges, arcade games, and a small, canopied bar. It's certainly an area where you can bring a bunch of people to hang out, knock back some good beer, and have fun. Their craft beer selection is ever-rotating, with always an average of 40+ beers on tap from a multitude of breweries. My most-recent stop at TBG saw me experience beers from The Bruery in California, Weyerbacher Brewing Company in Pennsylvania, Pair O' Dice Brewing out of the west coast of Florida, and Lord Hobo Brewing in Massachusetts -- the latter had Consolation Prize Imperial IPA that was fabulous. On the art gallery side of TBG, it's a completely different vibe. Paintings and artwork from local artists and community cover the walls, with sofas and coffee tables situated throughout the space. They have local musicians and groups perform on a small stage that gives TBG a true coffee house vibe. Definitely a spot where you can chill out, read, do work, and/or enjoy company in a laid-back environment. Additionally, they have someone who comes in most of the week at night to cater Polynesian cuisine if I'm not mistaken, and coffee and specialty sodas for those not into the offerings of beer and wine. If I lived closer, I would frequent this spot more often than not, for sure. But when I am able to make it over to The Brewhouse Gallery, it's always favorably memorable. read more

Awesome atmosphere! The crowd was generally 30s-40s, but as a 22 year old I can say I had a pretty nice time. The live local music is def the focus but all around you have trippy art for sale, and the bathrooms have chalk to write on the walls. Unlike some other galleries, the Brewhouse Gallery actually keeps these artists' work around for several months in hopes of selling their work, which is great for artists. This place also has a variety of games and entertainment options on top of a pretty extensive beer and wine list. Great Thursday experience as those from the past, reliving a dream, get up & play. Great 'collective' vibe from the past. So much fun singing along to the live music! We got to try some local beer and homemade food before the music began so I'm glad we got there a little early. I won't lie, I was worried it was going to be too fun because when we first got there, there wasn't very many people! But tons more showed up later. The food was really good! I tried her pad tai which I'm going to have to try another dish next time because it wasn't my favorite pad tai. But, the music was LIVE. It sounded sooooooo good. Very cool place. The bar is hidden in the back, and they've got some excellent craft options available on tap and in bottles. Happy hour runs from 4-7. Service is very friendly and sociable. Atmosphere is very light and relaxed, comfortable seating kind of reminiscent of the Living Room in Boynton Beach. All kinds of interesting and quirky art surrounds you, and they had some live music in the evening to go with it. They even had board games available for groups to play. They do food trucks several nights a week, and allow you to bring in food from area restaurants if you prefer. I agree that the food menu deserves a little expansion and some direction leading to the bar area for new customers may be beneficial as well for curious passersby. First time going, my first impressions were awesome atmosphere, awesome people! There's a lot of bars with craft beers and board games. The Brewhouse has a great twist on it, with awesome art all over the wall. The bartender was very knowledgeable about the beers on tap. Special Belgian Beer Week, with IIRC 17 draft offerings, only 3-4 of which are readily (I say this slyly) available even in metropolitan US venues. Add to that: comfortable seating, nice art on the walls, in every sense a "hangout" of the most welcome sort. All I'd suggest of the management is to *slightly* stretch the menu beyond charcuterie, fish dip and salsa. I went there for their live music, gallery, and beer selection and I was not disappointed! There are games like Nintendo 64 Mario Kart in the back (which I played for a good 2 hours) and old school arcade games and cards against humanity. The band was impressive and there were no tech problems, (which is hard to find) the staff was incredibly polite and professional. The new GM John was very kind and busy helping out the staff and greeting customers like myself. I will soon be buying a tank top from them because this place is beautiful and the beer selection is diverse and exactly what I was looking for! Visited after dinner on a Tuesday night for the 7-10 music venue. It seems like every inch of the place from the pictures on the walls to the furniture you see or sit on is "art for sale". There are table games, meeting places/tables, couches, and much to enjoy while walking around the place. About 12 or so craft beers were on tap. There was a wide selection of brews, alcoholic content and breweries represented in the mix. The taps change regularly and there appears to be themes sometimes; e.g., Florida brews. There were also wines and coffees. A few specialty appetizer plates are available, but no other food. You come for the beers, the nice gallery, the atmosphere and the events (music, poker, comedy, etc.). I do want to emphasize that this IS a place for the arts. I am not sufficiently knowledgable to comment on the goodness of the pieces, but, there were many that I truly liked and appreciated. I believe that most people will find at least something appealing here. There is no specific style or media bias. We easily stayed for a few hours while enjoying the solo guitarists. A good sound system filled the gallery with mostly original compositions of 5 artists from various places in and outside south Florida. According to the barkeep, these folks just show up to play. I understand the place is fairly new and I sincerely hope the word gets out what an interesting and worthwhile place this is. Unfortunately, there was not a crowd this weekday night. If we lived here, it would be a regular spot to go. The Brewhouse Gallery is in a strip mall so you have to look for it, especially at night. Some GPS's do not have it yet as a POI. Parking seems a bit tight, and more so if the nearby movie theater is open. read more
