WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this company. Trespassing and invasion of privacy!!!!! THEY WILL START WORKING WITHOUT PERMISSION!!!! INVADE NEIGHBORS YARD/PRIVACY without permission. We booked with ABC to remove trees and stumps from our yard. The reason we went with this company was because we specifically asked that they do not work on our property if we were not home due to our specific situation with our dog (aggressive/has anxiety/seizures). After finding Tree Ninjas in our backyard without our permission we decided ABC would work after telling Jodi (reception) our situation. Originally our request to have the work done when we were at the house was respected. Appointments were only made when we were home and allowed us time to advise our neighbors of the plan. The gentlemen came to do the work and worked from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM to remove the trees and stumps. However, they did crack a vinyl fence post in our yard. THEY DID NOT schedule someone to look at the post as we requested and had a team member show up to measure the work without our permission on a day we did not expect. Since we happened to be home that day (FRIDAY at 10:00 AM) we made it clear that they could not complete the fence work without our permission and unless we were home. Not only was my wife on vacation from work but we also had family visiting from out of state. We come home from a day out and find their truck in front of our house and the men working on our fence in our backyard WITHOUT PERMISSION. I had just told the gentlemen earlier that same day that came for measurements as well as Jodi (office admin) that we need to schedule a different day in order to have them return and complete the job. However, when we returned home they had already torn down the fence posts and fencing between us and the neighbors yards. They only knocked on our door and 2 other neighbors doors and it was confirmed with both workers that NOT ONE of us answered our doors but that they TRESPASSED and continued the work anyway. They not only trespassed on our property but the property of our neighbors (all of which have dogs) without notice. Our neighbor even came out and asked the men what they thought they were doing because of course they didn't expect to have anyone trespassing in their yard. This is highly unprofessional and very poor judgement. The company representatives stated multiple times this is not how they do things but I don't believe their workers would just do something they weren't told to do. Again, this company has no respect for PRIVACY-SCHEDULES-or what's going on in someone's life. After calling the office and advising them of the situation they told us the fence would be finished in 10 minutes in which the fence took over an hour to complete. Again, this was not planned for and certainly not how we wanted to spend a night with our company from out of town. VERY DISAPPOINTED in this service as we made it clear from the beginning what the expectations were. SO many things could have gone wrong for the workers as well as everyone's pets and safety. I had a double 70' oak behind my house that was hit by lightning and needed to be taken down. It had one base that was 19.5" and one base that was 21" in circumference. I called 5 tree vendors and took bids from 4. I judge the vendors based on price, how they were going to do the job and how they were going to interact with the city. ABC 1-2-Tree came in at an affordable rate and was able to get the city to approve of the tree removal with an arborist letter. Some tree companies suggested cutting it down first then showing the city the arborist letter if they asked. I think that would be a good way to get a fine as the laws are written where they have to receive the letter first, even if the tree needs to be removed for safety. ABC 1-2-Tree brought in a crane and a crew of 8 guys to take the trees apart. The tree was cut in 25' segments and swung over the house and into the front yard where the crew efficiently cut it apart and the foreman neatly and very efficiently put the trees into the loader. The crane operator was an expert and competently navigate around the powerlines and the other plants and trees of the house. I could not believe that they were able to fit both trees in one loader. They did an excellent job cleaning up the yard and they did a great job grinding the stump well below the surface of the ground. The owner of the company Bill was great to work with and made the entire process easy. I will use this company again in the future for any kind of tree removal and trimming. read more

We had a large oak tree fall on my house Saturday morning. I was terrified when that happened and immediately called ABC 1-2 Tree. Casey from the office answered the phone and helped to calm me down by letting me know that someone is on the way to remove the tree. She was so professional and sympathetic to my situation. Within 30 minutes, Bill Holmes the owner came to our house to access the damage and assured us that his crew were on their way to remove the tree from our house so there would be no further damage. The ABC 1-2- Tree crew arrived within minutes and they started working immediately. The crew worked non stop and were diligent and they went out of there way to put a tarp over my damaged roof. I would like to commend each and every one of your guys that were part of the crew that removed the large oak tree from our property!! I was very, very impressed with the job your guys did!! They were very professional, polite and courteous. They were obviously very experienced and knew exactly what they were doing. When they were finished they were diligent in cleaning up the mess. What a great company! I had a 60 ft+ laurel oak in my back yard that had died and needed to be removed before it fell on my house and surrounding cabanas. This removal was very complicated because of its size and the difficulty of getting heavy equipment close to it. Quite a challenge, I tell you! I contacted two other firms and was completely put off! Not only did they want me to sign waivers that would hold them harmless should they damage my house and property, they were not able to assure me that the job could be done in a reasonable period of time. Fortunately, the owner of my landscape company recommended that I get in touch with Paul, an arborist who works for ABC 1-2-Tree and who was my main contact. Actually, Paul got in touch with me and I couldn't be happier! Wow, not only did the job happen exactly as described and within a pretty rapid timeframe (considering the complexity of the job and all its complications) -- it happened without any damage to property, life or limb! I first heard of this company when I saw them perform a tree removal in a neighbor's yard. It was a huge oak tree and they handled the job quickly and efficiently and left the property looking like the tree had never been there. I called them to get an estimate for trimming some limbs off power lines leading from the pole to the house and to trim big limbs overhanging the house. I received an estimate the same day. Bill explained in great detail the process and care they would take to get the job done right. I was pleased with the estimate I was given and even more pleased that they were able to come out the next morning and take care of it for me. I've had several compliments from my neighbors about how good it looks. They left my yard undamaged and cleaned up all debris so well that you couldn't tell that they'd been out with heavy equipment working on the trees. Just wanted to give a shout-out & recommendation for anyone needing tree removal or trimming ABC 1-2-Tree, Inc. is who you need to contact! Bill & Jody were both amazing through the whole process. I received several quotes & decided to go with them even they weren't the "cheapest" (the cheapest also didn't have insurance or workers comp). They were fairly priced though! The biggest reason why I highly recommend them is they communicated with me through the whole process. They would send a quick text keeping me updated if anything changed or when they would be there. That's huge in my book. After the trees were removed & we removed the mulch we noticed a few more pieces needed to be stump grinned down a little more. I was so delighted with ABC 12Trees work on our property.! They were truly professional and accommodated my every request. The crew was happy, worked very well together and worked hard with s long day. I had a laurel oak in my back yard that was rotting at the base of the trunk. Out of concern for safety and not wanting to see it fall onto the neighbor's roof I got a couple estimates. As soon as I got one from ABC 12Tree, I booked them for the job, and I was not disappointed. They were available quickly and were very efficient in organizing the job. They were done removing the tree and trimming a live oak in my front yard in just over two hours, I couldn't believe it! We had a huge job removing 2 trees with a crane and grinding multiple stumps so that we could have a new fence installed. I had 2 large trees very close to house I needed removed, had several quotes from others but this company (Bill) came out and I had totally different vibe. They were very professional & quote was reasonable and I felt confident to go with them. ABC 1-2-Tree's was very helpful in getting a tree off my roof. They made sure they'd be available once my lousy mortgage and insurance companies agreed to the claim, and they were very patient about getting paid (from the same lousy mortgage and insurance companies) once they finished their work. They did a great job in removing the tree and putting a tarp onto the roof to prevent further water damage, and once they had finished, they cleaned up everything--including what was left of the tree.
