this company lies, especially when it comes to collecting payment. They said the payment was over 25 days late. If it was, they would have already come to pick up the vehicle second they're trying to add a massive late fee. My pavement is 586 and they're saying it's 658. they said payment came off my card last which is a lie because it's my boyfriend's car so he paid it off of his card last time company trying to say they didn't get payment but claims my vehicle is 25 days past due, which is not the truth otherwise they would've picked up the vehicle. I've had nothing but problems since I've got my 2012 kia Rio from abc. It seemed like every other month something happened with the car and and I have to take it to the shop and pay money I don't have for something else to break down once again, it's absolutely ridiculous. I can go down the list of the things that was going on and are currently going on as I type this. 1. When I first got this car the wheel alignment was off so they had to fix that. 2. Three months after that my AC stopped working 3. About two months after that I had to go to the service center because my car was vibrating real bad and doing funny things and I had no idea that I would have to pay to have my engine replaced because they said that there was a recall on my engine that they didn't know about and I didn't get my car back until 3 weeks later. 4.now my break lights stay on when the car is off and the top break light by the rear back window smokes. I told them about my problems but they told me that they can't pay it unless I pay the cost for the service. I'm gonna be 100% honest The car buying Exp was good. Months down the line I became unemployed(in may), then re-employed 2 months later. I was able to make 1 months of payments, I was late but the car current June 1st. May was paid already. I missed 2 of my payments for the following month of June. During this time I kept in constant communication with the finance company and tried over/over to come up with some kind of agreement but they would not work with me. I was told to come in (mind you I just started a new job so I took 1hr off work for this) the lady texted me and said I needed to come in to sign something so I could pay the remaining amount I owed including late fees at my very next available check. Witch I thought was great, exactly what I needed a break. (Mind you the car needs replacement parts that cost about 300-500$ in parts alone) I was gonna give them 900$ in two weeks to get me current. I went in of course, when I got there I was told I needed 42$ or I needed to leave the car there and find someone to pick me up. That's not what I was told over the phone. I had no one to pick me up, so I told them I'd go outside and see if my bf had 42$ he didn't so I had him drop me off at work and go home. Later on that same day the car was repossessed, now I need to pay 100$ To get my belongings. It's not a big deal I just will get another car somewhere else. Hopefully one that isn't that dumb. Because in 2 more weeks if they would've just worked with me they could've got there money. I don't mind taking my money elsewhere to a company that understands after coming out of a pandemic shit happens jobs are lost I was missing 1 months worth of payments I would've been caught up on if they worked with me. Avoid this place like the plague. I put $1,600 down on a 2007 Ford Explorer that has over 120,000 miles on it. Now I understand it's a used car and things happen, but we barely even had the vehicle 48 hours and it started with the problems. It overheated. So I called the dealership and they had a tow company local to me come get my vehicle. I'm waiting in the parking lot and I get a call from the tow company dispatcher telling me it'll be over an hour because the driver assigned to me is on lunch, then the driver is bringing him lunch back then coming to get my vehicle. So that's fine, I mean everyone has to eat, no big deal. So I call the dealership to let them know, but I'm asking them like hey I'm on the way to work ya know can you work with me please don't leave me stranded with my 2 year old. So they were nice enough to lend me a loaner car until they fixed my vehicle. Which I appreciate very much. Next I get a call from someone in their service department telling me the parts for my vehicle won't be there until Monday morning and my vehicle will be ready Monday afternoon. I called yesterday to ask if they were done with my car yet and the man informed me that he was unable to get to it and would have it ready for me the next day. So I called early this morning to ask if they knew about what time he would be finished so that I knew how to set my day up, he informed me to expect a call from him around 4 pm letting me know he was finished with the repairs. I called around 4:30 to get an update, the man then proceeds to tell me that he doesn't have the parts and my car might be ready the next day. So now I feel like I'm getting the run around and I ask to be transferred back to sales so that I can speak to someone about this, because I don't like being lied to. The mechanic just put the phone down and didn't transfer me anywhere. So I hung up and called back, got to speak to Dylan. Now this guy here is a real character. I start to try and explain to him that I'm a little frustrated because I don't like being lied to and I feel already played because they kinda got over on me with the price of the car and the down payment amount and in less the. 2 days the car is already giving me problems, and he starts to ramble about parts getting in on different days because they come from different places and I let him finish, to tell him that I understand that and it wouldn't be a problem had the mechanic not already told me twice now that he has the parts for my car and is now telling me he doesn't. I got so upset I just asked him if I could either get my money back or get into a different vehicle and he just tells me "that isn't going to happen". So we get off the phone and I come home upset and tell my boyfriend what happens. He tells me to calm down and calls Dylan back himself and tries to calmly talk to Dylan, Dylan was rude and yelling and cursing and then told my boyfriend that he's not going to fix the vehicle, we can have it back as is and fix it ourselves. So I go up to the dealership and try to talk to Dylan who just laughs at me and tells me I signed a contract and nothing is going to happen, that I can take the truck back and he'll just write it up as a repo on my credit and that's that and that he's shutting off the loaner car. Now I will admit my boyfriend acted out of character, but Dylan was the entire reason by calling my boyfriend a bitch and all sorts of other things. That is not how you conduct business at all. So he calls the cops and so do I. We gave the loaner car back and he's just in the office laughing and provoking my boyfriend trying to get him more upset.. now I don't feel like I can trust this dealership because of Dylan and I hate that because despite the miles I really loved this suv. Robert was amazing, the customer service was amazing when we were there buying the vehicle, now that we have a problem it seems like they could care less.. and Dylan even said it's not my family or kid so why would I give a f#*%. I just feel really taken advantage of and I don't feel like I can trust anything from here now because of this man child, and that's extremely disappointing. I just wanted my money back and all he had to say was "it's mine now so there's nothing you can do about it"... I just want my down payment back.. Double check your credit reports. I just had to file a complaint with the better business Bureau on how they wrote mine off. Insurance and gap paid off the whole loan but they wrote it to screw my credit up. Ill be contacting bay news 9 as well as all the veteran groups im apart of to let everyone know how they treat veterans and military families. I wrote a review months ago trying to give these people the benefit of the doubt but honestly, f#%! Them. They are nothing but crooks and liars! I got my car in February of 2017 and have had nothing but problems with it. Even then, I still continued to make every single payment ON TIME. Never did I miss one! Back in September of 2018 I received an email from my credit stating an account had been closed. When I checked it, ABC had closed the account and my credit went down almost 100 points. I was livid. I contacted abc auto numerous times to get this issue resolved and was always given the runaround. The first three times I called they transferred me to 4 different people all who responded with "I don't know why they transferred you to me" like what??? After multiple failed attempts I finally filed a complaint through the better business bureau. ABC responded on there letting me know the problem would be resolved within a week. Well.. it's been about 4 months and it's never been resolved. I finally decided to trade my car into a REAL dealership for something newer, with a fraction of the miles I had on the one through them, paying the same exact price. When the new place ran my credit they sat me down and showed me 3 different credit reports that ABC had on me. 2 or them said my account was closed with $0 balance, while the last one said my account was closed with a balance of over $7000. BUT on my online portal at the time it said my account balance was $4985. (This was two weeks ago) and today, after I call to cancel my automatic payments and had to deal with the attitude of Joanie or whatever her name is, I checked the online portal again and the balance was over $5000. Lmao like you guys are really playing! They have been pocketing my money since September, meanwhile I'm struggling to get them to fix my credit issue that they ruined. Please whatever you do STAY AWAY from this place! I was desperate when I came here and it was the worst mistake. Just read through the reviews, the cars start breaking down days after leaving the lot! And to make things even more entertaining, my interest rate was 27%! I thought I had pretty decent credit but apparently not good enough for Carmax. After wasting a day test driving and picking out cars they ended up telling me I wasn't approved. My neighbor recomended this place and said I wouldn't have a problem with financing. I told the people at ABC about my experience with Carmax and the vehicle I was getting ready to buy. They were able to find me a comparable vehicle with only 5k more miles, but it was much cheaper. I recomend this business. read more
