I went in about a month ago to get an expresso vodka for an expresso martini recipe I wanted to try. I was looking for it since I had never bought it before, and the second I saw it and whipped around, Jordan saw me looking super confused and asked if I was finding what I needed. I explained yes, I saw it the second you saw me. He recommended that I try the Van Gogh double expresso vodka versus the one that I was going in for, it was his favorite expresso vodka. Don't know what their policy is, but our delivery person did not wear a mask. If I'm not forced to get close to him, I'm ok, but he made me give id & sign. When asked about mask, he looked at car but didn't go get it. He even started into our house after our conversation about mask. If you're in a service position, wear a mask! We were headed up to Amelia Island last weekend, and had planned on a quick Beer:30 stop to pick up some local brews... but they were out to lunch! We were sad, but everyone needs to eat... so we dropped off the pup at Bark and headed on up the road. Quick Yelp search for beer lead us right to ABC. This is a huge store, bright, clean and with a surprising variety of craft brews and snacks (I have a thing for these anchovy stuffed olives I can ONLY find at ABC.) Snapped a couple pics for their Yelp page, grabbed a couple of six packs and said snacks, and we were on our way. We are so happy to have this location perfectly located just before the bridge onto Amelia Island. It's has great parking, is very bright & well organized. Best of all - the customer service is outstanding!! It stocks many options in beer, craft beer, liquor, wine & spirits. Often they host 'tastings' for various products & my wife & I have found some great new brands, sampled lots of various spirits & liquors and have developed a great relationship with many of the vendor hostesses. There have been a few times my wife has 'sampled' all of the options & found the visit most enjoyable - I drove home. Personally, I appreciate the opportunity to sample new products and I like that they will also have a few of the well known big distributors available for sample as well which gives us the chance to compare the newer products up against the well known familiar ones. It helps us to distinguish the differences and fully get an idea of which we may prefer. The wine section is huge!! Staff who work this area also are very familiar with many of the varieties and offer great advice & knowledge about them. There is always a minimum of 4 wines available on tap to sample any time. We have always been treated fabulously by most of the staff, as they know us as regulars. Only once has there been less than stellar service (and this was a very young new member who may have been somewhat overwhelmed, management quickly intervened to correct the situation). We love everything about this establishment, would always recommend it and will enjoy their service, tastings, and knowledge as often as possible. read more

I have purchased several products from this store this last year, but today I went to returned an extremely poor tasting wine product, which I had purchased less than ten days ago. It was a defective lot. I have only once in 40 years returned an alcohol product. They refused to refund my money against other purchases I was making unless I signed up for an ABC Fine Wine & Spirit's Reward Card. They suggested I use someone else's ABC Fine Wine Reward Card phone number. DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES! Absolutely Bizarre! In the future, I will go into Jacksonville, FL to a reputable alcohol beverage store or go to Costco to buy my alcohol products. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO THIS STORE! I live on Amelia Island, and I would rather drive 40 miles each way than suffer from poor corporate policies and three store knuckleheads. This is just a review of the curbside pick up. Not good. Online inventory not accurate, order not filled and ready even though auto email I received said it was, and 2 hours later, still no refund of part of order not filled. Instacart is better. They contact you for substitutions and issue instant refunds if not filled. read more

This is a good liquor store with nice people and a large selection, notably a much larger selection of craft beer than anywhere else around here. But so much of their craft beer is way past date, in some cases by more than a year. Be careful, craft beer fans. read more

We were here on vacation for the first time and stopped in to get supplies for the week, and we were close to closing time - not at closing though, and were told several times, "we are closing, we are closing." Yes, we are all educated and not visually impaired, so we were trying to be as prompt as we could. After being harassed several times, the manager at the counter was extremely rude to all of us. He repeatedly stated "I need to see your ID's in one of the most rude, abrupt, and condescending tones that I've ever been spoken to. My friend stated, well I need to put the items on the counter in order to get my ID out and he stated, again in an extremely condescending tone, "fine, but I need to see ID's." We understand completely as we are all in our mid 20's that when you purchase liquor in the United States of America that an ID will be required so he needed to reduce his abrupt nature of telling us he needed to see our ID's. We purchased over $200 in liquor and beer and were made to feel as if we were a burden. If he is the manager, as an owner of an establishment I would be mortified to know that my customers were being treated in such a way. Needless to say, we stayed at one of the most prestigious resorts on Amelia Island, and went on to another liquor store where we were treated much more like human beings, and brought the rest of our travel party to this new store and spent over $1,200 in alcohol. Needless to say, $1,200 may not be a large number in the grand scheme of this establishment's alcohol sales but that was $1,200 a business could have made, but did not due to the extremely unprofessional, rude, condescending, and unhelpful manager and staff member working that evening. Next time I visit Amelia Island, I may spend a day with the group with signs outside this establishment to warn others of the awful staff and treatment customers can expect to receive. read more
