Food was typical bar food -- fries, wings, pizza, salads, burgers, etc. We got the smash burger, fries, gochujang wings and summer salad. I was more than satisfied with our spread. The seasoning on the fries was perfection. Unfortunately, no pics of the food. The beers were delish! Had several options on tap and decided on a flight of Gose. Belgian Tripel, Belgian Blonde w raspberry, and the Swarzbier -- visually, absolutely gorgeous...and they tasted exceptional as well. That swarzbier was full of body and flavor with a hint of sweetness. If you like stouts or Dunkels, give this a try. Such a great recommendation from the bartender. Tip: you order from the bar and find a table. There's not a host to seat you. There's also a keg of water for self serve agua. The only downside--super loud inside. It was fine for us. There are outdoor, no frills picnic tables if you don't like the noise. But don't let it stop you, give them a try! read more

First visit and I only tried two beers here: Cardinal Truth and Joy. Both fell flat on flavor IMO, yet both beers were hyper-carbonated to the point it almost lightly burned the palate. Came at the recommendation of an acquaintance who claimed they serve best pizza in FB. We were greeted enthusiastically when we approached the bar where you order. The wine list is inadequate but the beer list is fantastic. The Margherita Pizza was disappointing. The outer crust was delicious but the inner crust was paper thin and limp. Hardly any mozzarella. It was a late Sunday afternoon so perhaps the pizza chef was off. We will give it another chance. read more

This night I got a blood orange 8% IPA and a coconut stout - both were unique and quite tasty. There is food here as well with great pizzas, sandwiches, and finger foods that match well with the beers. Places to sit both inside and out. It is a popular place and can get quite crowded. Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon with a group of women. We were easily able to find parking right outside the brewery and they were plenty of seats inside. Loved that they have a lot of home brews to choose from. I want to say it seemed like at least 15. I tried two of their IPAs and the coconut stout. Loved all 3. We also wanted a little snacky and tried the truffle fries and zucchini fries. Crushed them both. I'd give the truffle fries an 8/10 and zucchini fries a 9/10. Zucchini fries were super crispy and well seasoned plus came with a delicious curry aioli. The pizzas looked amazing too. Definitely recommend stopping in. read more

After a bike day up in the Fernandina Beach area, we needed some beer and pizza. Hubby suggested First Love Brewing and I was all in on that idea! We ordered a couple flights and enjoyed them outside while sitting at one of the patio tables. The daisy honey blonde was my favorite. Close second was a beacon of light, a very tasty milk stout. Hubby's favorite was the cardinal truth IPA. We went inside to order food and grabbed a table since it was getting chilly outside. We ordered huli huli wings and a hot honey pizza. The wings came out pretty quick. They were sensational! We both loved these wings. Crispy, sweet, savory, tangy. A unique flavor for sure. The blue cheese was on point as well. Our pizza arrived shortly after the wings. Hot, crispy and delicious! The crust was perfection! Pepperoni cups were yummy. There was a perfect balance between heat and sweet. We both loved it. We were staying at a B&B across the street and after a day of travel this cute little brewery was perfect. The place was hopping and all the inside tables were full but we grabbed a picnic table outside where the weather was perfect. I ordered at the bar and they gave me a number sign to put on the table for the food server to find me. We had Huli Hulu wings which were delicious. Crunchy with a sweet Hawaiian style BBQ sauce. We also had a Momma Maria pizza. It is medium in size but perfect to share with the wings. It had meatball pieces and ricotta on it. It was also very good. Cool little spot, but prkg is a little tight/awkward in the lot and they only had one person taking orders/pouring w/a long line, so the wait was ridic. But, she did her best and was so nice (I think her name was Beth?). They might have been short-staffed, but not sure. Absolutely loved the beer flight board and that it resembled Amelia Island; that was really cool! The beers were hit or miss for me, but there weren't any of the four that I downright disliked. They had pizza as well, w/some interesting pies on the menu, but I didn't have enough time to stay long enough to wait; plus it looked like they were backlogged on that front as well. Ambiance was nice, but they could use a few more barstools at the bar and definitely need to section off an actual line area, because a couple of guys just straight up walked up to the counter and ordered while we were all waiting in line and nobody said anything! This was such a solid place to grab lunch and a beer. These guys make their own hand-crafted beer and artisan-style pizzas. I was visiting family in Fernandina Beach and read good things about this place. First Love Brewing is centrally located on Amelia Island. Their establishment is nice and spacious with tables surrounded by the fermenters. There is a nice laid-back community vibe here that immediately draws you in and makes you feel welcome. First Love has around twenty rotating beers on tap. Off to the side is a chalk board menu that lists all of their beers and percentages. In addition to good beer, they made great pizza and wings. They have some regular pizza favorites like margarita, white, and supreme on their menu. They also do some specialty pizzas. I went with the Honey Hot Pizza and a beer flight on my first visit here. The pizza is seriously as good as everyone says it is. That Honey Hot had a nice kick to it too. First Love Brewing makes really good beer. I mixed up my flight and got an ale, stout, and a lager so I could have a bit of a variety. You can't go wrong with First Love Brewing if you are in the Fernandina Beach area. The staff is super friendly and great at educating you on their beers. Great place for kids too! read more

I went to culinary school with one of the owners Kevin. I finally stopped in and ate with my bf and loved it. Great customer service food came out very fast! Truffle fries were addictive and we couldn't stop eating them. Huli pizza was perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Gochujang wings were a little spicy and perfectly cooked. Bit of a drive for us but would for sure come again. Kevin and Jessie are a great pair and dedicated resturaunt owners. Beer is great. Pizza is ok --very salty, light on toppings, too much crust. Wings are decent. Zucchini fries are ok. Fries are ok. Ceaser is ok (grilled chicken looked weird). You have to get your own water out of a keg that requires two hands to use which means you touch the same handle and spigot thing that literally every other customer who needs water touched with both their hands. Sailing on picnic tables outside are fine if it's not too hot. Inside is loud, but there's games for kids to play at the tables. read more

I LOVE First Love! I've tried most every pizza place on and around Amelia Island/ Fernandina Beach... Also, I'm from Joisey so that's what I rate against. I think this place has great beer, great wings and great pizza. Inside is fun brewery style, the people working are excellent!!! I have enjoyed their wings in several occasions as well as their pizza, and it ranks as high as #1 on my list in the area- head and shoulders- a totally different league above Arte's pizza. I much prefer to sit outside at the picnic tables because it does get pretty loud inside. Dont worry- if you do sit outside the waitstaff will still bring your food to you when it's done. read more

Very good, if not the best Neapolitan pizza in the area. The underlying crust is thin and crispy while the edges are crispy and chewy. We tried the Huli, Supreme and the Momma Marie. All but the last were excellent, the Huli a little unusual, but the last had too much water in the ingredients and the crust just dissolved. We also tried the Buffalo and Korean wings - they allowed us to order both flavors in a single order. Both had good flavor and our server said they were fresh wings, I guess not frozen, but for $14 for 8 wings, kind of expensive. With two beers, one wing and 3 pizzas it was over $90, but, other than the wings, about what is expected for this quality of pizza. I would stay away from any pizza if watery toppings, vegetables, ricotta etc. the crust can't sustain them. read more

First off I'd like too say I am not usually a pizza fan and when the family suggested dominions there was no way I wasn't gonna look for a local shop and we just happened too land on first love.
